Some trash got taken out and the easiest answer was to take out the thread.
Seriously, you are so gullible. There's no evidence a leak anywhere on the net. Stop believing 4chan tards that just say things.

There were 50 posts in a row of necanon going back and forth with the genius who thinks he's helping by going post for post with a schizo. Then the thread disappeared. I agree it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I don’t know about that. Toy Habits was going to cover the MOTU movie leak last night but had to change their thumbnail cause Mattel reached out to them and asked not to cover anything that has not been released. They also said they got a bunch of other amazing info that they can not share yet.
I did save the pic before the thread got nuked. If it happens again, it’s been nice knowing you all except the NECA psycho troon. The Chinaman from Ramen said there were guards in front of the Mattel area and you were not getting in there with out an appointment.

Yeah, because you're dumb. Mattel is likely getting TMNT because there's literally no other company willing to pay Ellison's BS fee, but you're a damn fool if you think that's real.
There's zero talk about it anywhere.
>>
I don’t see the Gemini or Sora mark on it like those MOTU Thundercats ones.
Also if it was an ai they’d make perfectly clear. This has that tried to sneak it look to it. The old no photos leaks from Wonderfest were all like this for a while.

I wonder if a Sesame Street crossover would be possible since NECA does both now. Would be neat since Elmo’s puppeteer Kevin Clash was also movie Splinter’s puppeteer.

The only part of ToG that had awful distribution were the retailer exclusives. Mainly the Walmart ones. The Target ones didn't have perfect distribution, but it was a million times better than Walmart. I'm still waiting for the container full of Merman that never made it to stores to start showing up at Ross or Ollie's.

If Mattel does get the license, would TMNT Origins use original designs akin to stuff like Fortnite, Joytoy and Magic or be based mostly on vintage Playmates synergy despite Mattel not owning the original designs?

It was real, and shown off back in September of 2025 before Playmates got the news they weren't keeping the license. So it's veeeeery likely those won't even happen. Or if they do, you'll just get the one wave and none of the concept art figures in the image.

I don't think you can say 'neca figures' are a particular size. they have a bunch of different lines, even within TMNT the movie line is not in scale with the cartoon line. I mean look at this, you've posted these two and they sure don't match, assuming you posted them to scale with each other.
I can tell you Demona-chan is about 7.5 inches tall on her big ol dino legs, and while her top is not an INTENTIONALLY removable piece, I do believe it's a separate piece glued onto the 'buck' as they say. quite possibly removable with a lot of work put in.

btw if anyone DOES know good bare-type lady figures that could possibly be customized into a proper super7 Ninja Newscaster April? I loved that figure as a kid, it was neat seeing the usually meek April actually look like she could kick some ass. and I liked that 2k3 kinda had fun with that too one time.
I'm looking at maybe Super7 Thundercats ones, they have some girls that seem in scale and their clothes look decently removable/alterable

They use the 80s Turtles art, but don't seem to match the colors of the 80s toyline. Let's see what Lego's Pick A Brick has. I think they have Leo using Dark Green and Raph using Light Green, but maybe he should had gotten the Light Yellowish Green instead for better contrast. Mikey got the Bright Bluish Green which is kinda close, though reminds me more of Slash. Not sure why Donnie isn't Olive Green, other than it being a less produced color based on that number.
>>
>>11696236
are we sure this isn't rogenturtles colors? or maybe Rise?
>olive
he's only been olive in 2k3.. in the old toyline he was shit brown. that, combined with his mask being indigo rather than violet (leaving leo with that beautiful bright sky blue) gave him a super unique look that I've always loved.
promise you any TMNT product I got to do, unless it was trying to be like the movies, I'd use the old toy colors.

If that's considered shit brown, then I think you need to see a doctor. Olive Green is what Lego calls the color. But looking at the actual Olive Green color it's much brighter and greener.
https://brickset.com/colours/family-Green
Donnie is really hard to match in Lego colors. Looking at browns I found one... Brown. Unfortunately it's been discontinued since 2007. So maybe Medium Brown would be closer to that.

this figure has yellowed over time. you can see how the soft head is a slightly different hue, and his left side is also less greenified than his right.
Look earlier in this thread and you'll see playmates' remade one where he is downright CHOCOLATE brown, because they fucked up the red-balance (same reason their raph is such pale, jade green)
Super7 nailed it. he's brown, but not quite chocolate brown. The hint of bilrubin tints it slightly green, making it shit brown. and it looks good on him. very turtly while still being way different from his brothers

leonardo on the other hand is what I would call olive green. that is, the color of green olives. I realize there's about a thousand varieties and ways of treating olives, so it's possible I have this terminology slightly off. after all, people say 'olive-skinned' when they sure as fuck don't mean you're green. but i think 'olive' on its own is different from 'olive green'
in any case anon, olive you.

Got 2003 splinter, all of his joints have light ratchets, wasn't expecting that out of a S7 toy. First figure I've gotten from them that doesn't feel like complete shit to pose, actually feels a lot better than most other domestic toys in that department, much smoother. But the S7 jank touch is still there with the thin soft plastic and the worryingly small hand pegs. Its too bad they didn't start trying this hard 5 years ago because this is the closest thing to a good toy I've ever gotten out of them and its probably one of the last ultimates they'll ever do. Can recommend it if you see him at clearance prices. $25-30 seems fair.

its genuinely not that easy to get away with even in china, its why you see most unlicensed lines just release a few things then break up/go into hiding under another name, only some outliers like transformers seem to get away with it long term
>>
>>11704243
you literally just described what makes it easy
it's the 'change your IP and ban evade' of commercial goods. I bought a tablet under one chinese name, a compatible replacement pen under the next name, then the next....

again, thats fine if you want to release one thing and dip
if you want to release an entire line like joytoy for example, they lose recognition and repeat customers because its never clear if its the same studio

the 'master license' never stopped anyone else from making TMNT figs
what it did is it gave that company leverage to tell viacom to screw over other companies if they started stepping on the master licensee's toes (or if they smoked too much opium and just THOUGHT that was happening, despite any sensible person realizing they are not in competition)

This is exactly the point. Playmates played ball, Mattel could choose not to. Same reason you don't see anyone else making Star Wars or Marvel in a similar format to Hasbro, and with Diamond Select gone, not even action figures of any size (domestically).

Baxter is basically the only essential character they haven’t done… but it feels like they mostly pick releases based on whether or not they can reuse them to make another character. These two share a lot of parts.

Pricey, like $20-$25
The O-rings have been a surprise hit, primarily because it's the only figures they manage some how to put out fast. Joes regularly sell out at Target, and keep getting re-stocked so fast that new figures that haven't even been announced keep showing up on pegs. The recent Joe wave already has in hand photos before Super7 could reveal them at Toyfair.

To at least some extent. When Bandai lost Power Rangers to Hasbro they basically gave up. Their final year's product offerings were very sparse compared to prior ones. I wouldn't be surprised if Playmates follows suit. Any new molds wouldn't ever be usable again, and we know how much Playmates loves to reuse molds, so I expect to see mostly reissues from them in 2026.

Yeah, but like...a gene slammed one. Although Mecha Shark is awesome. Hope they redo him too.

yeah my memory was bad and I thought that was what it was. I just remembered the big shark face, I forgot it was just a mask on a robot.
memories are weird like that. what I retained of Thundercats as a very young kid was VERY strange before I found out about the show again.

which was weird because, while he was a swordfish, he did not have a slashing weapon, since his sword nose was turned into a drill
it's one of those things like 'Streex sometimes being "Blades." ' that shows you how hastily and carelessly this franchise was thrown together to grab what was left of the turtle audience.

I mean
was outselling star wars in 1994 really that special?
>power rangers
yeah it wasn't as good by '94 but it was doing okay, that is kind of a surprise. now, outselling PR in '96 or '97, that I could see easily. but you say their first year? very impressive, Mattel.
I know I loved em. They were so bulky, so cool, so muscly. i didn't care that the legs couldn't move, I was stoked the jaws could.

Outselling Power Rangers was quite the feat in 94. But there was fuck all Star Wars on the shelves apart from bend 'ems and Micro Machines. When PotF2 was released in 1995 was when the second Star Wars renaissance would truly begin.

I'd say "Sharella" (whose rubber top can come off to reveal a black bikini), but the big, dumb Masters of the Universe fur diapers ruin it. Though, if you're doing painting, you cold steal the hips section off a Cartoon Teela? Maybe?
