I remember there apparently being a weird thing with the licensing for Part 8. A sculptor named Dooley from Sideshow said they weren’t allowed to touch that one specifically when they were putting out the 1/6 figure back in the early 2000s, which I think explains why no company ever put one out. Really excited for this one. The sculpt looks fantastic. I sort of hope they revisit him later as a film version vs the game. In the movie his eye is on the left side, but the game fixed it to be on the right for consistency. His mask also gets damaged by the swat team near his right eye. I'd like an undamaged version of the mask on an alt-head if they did. There's quite a few accessories they could divide up among releases.

Not sure if the ax is his only weapon, but obviously he comes with gripping hands that aren't shown, so he might have more. In the movie there's a few other weapons and things he could reasonably be packed with, but it could be limited to just game weapons. The unmasked head is a nice touch.

My excitement levels would be even higher if they showed more Ultimates instead of Ben Cooper figures. Instead of only being slightly excited, I would be very excited if the Ben Cooper figures were figures for the Ultimate line. My excitement levels would be greatly increased if they showed figures that I actually wanted to buy instead of yet more Ben Cooper kids mold reuse.

We knew about Super Grover and the Turtles stuff at least. Pee-Wee v2 is hitting with the black and white Red Death Phantom, Bob Gray Pennywise, black and white Bride and Frankie set, and the updated Harry Potter figures.

It's either meant to look like his white pancake makeup caked on and the production method they're using for that sucks, or they're doing license fuckery to make the figures and it's based on some form of artwork of Pee-Wee instead of the actual likeness of Paul Reubens. The way the portraits look have always made me suspect that could be an option, they're extremely cartoony even for the character. But the Ultimate packaging does feature a photo of Pee-Wee so things like that make me not completely believe that to be the case.

The ones that are replicas of actual vintage costumes are the best. The ones not based on actual vintage costumes but still licenses from the 60's - early 90's that could have been costumes are fine. The ones they make that were never costumes from the 90's - modern licenses when those type of costumes stopped being produced are a bit much to me. Things like the Art the Clown, modern Pennywise, Saw, etc. The Ghostface might be the worst offender because so much of the popularity of that character is because of the original costume and mask, absolutely no one wore a vacuform plastic version of that mask back in the day so in a line lead by nostalgia things like this miss the mark for me.

I wanted to see Chucky be based on the Good Guys art like on the bag, with the rest of the striped shirt and Good Guys overalls printed onto it. I mean I guess it could make sense to have one based on the 80s horror film, at least it wasn't Bride of Chuck, even though they did Tiffany too. I do love that Hanna Barbera styled Chucky, and I would love if Neca would reuse it for another Toony Terrors Chucky not based on BoC.
