I love the look of weathered troopers. The recent sandtrooper is one of my favorite black series figs. But it also came with a backpack, pauldron, and two blasters so there was some nice accessories options. These don't really have that and feel a little plain for me. The AT-AT driver is probably the best but I would've preferred if they kept the harness from the ESB costume. There's also the target exclusive one with brown shin and bicep armor. But that looks kinda lame too. Would have liked more unique parts.

Also the new Mando's sword and EE-3 looking rifle look sick. Unfortunately I really dislike Mando at this point so it's not something I really want in my collection.

Worth noting that based on the leaked preview from last year, the unmasked snowtroopers probably won't be in much of the movie. There's a scene of Mando shooting his way through an AT-AT and that's where we see snowtroopers that don't have their full gear on since they weren't expecting a surprise attack.

It seems that there's going to be an Orray and Geonosian Picador for TVC getting announced at ToyFair. Someone put the label for it in front of the new Mando either by accident or as a teaser

If I recall correctly, the leaks said it's basically Embo as he is hired by the Twins from BOBF to go after Rotta the Hutt while Mando is also tasked with hunting him down for the New Republic in order to bring him in or protect him for some reason. There was also something about Grogu finding some kind of artifact in an Imperial facility that amplifies his Force abilities like in Splinter of the Mind's Eye and that is probably going to have its own plot thread separate from Mando and is why we see him with the Babu Frik guys. For most of these figures that use the rack/tree, it doubles as a storage piece that you can attach the weapons to. It's just a way to store the parts so you don't have loose pieces everywhere. Disney legitimately cannot come up with a new marketable idea that isn't just rerolling the dice on a "cutesy little mascot character/baby version of existing character" anymore. SW has been inundated with them since Disney acquired the franchise with BB-8, Porgs, Grogu, D-0, that little hockey-puck whatever droid that toddler Leia has in the Obi-Wan series, among others.

It has spilled over into other shit Disney has their hands in like the Marvel stuff, since Baby Groot is basically the Grogu of Marvel. Odds seem pretty good that aliexpress will make Jesse and Kix before hasbro makes Pong Krell, although I would've also assumed the 327th Star Corps would've been made by the aliexpress seller by now since they made all the parts needed for them several months ago with the EU-sourced 501st commanders, but that hasn't happened yet, so maybe hasbro has a real chance on getting to Krell before aliexpress does the last two clones.
