>JoJo line?
The only real guess anyone with good experience has made is that these will be the larger figures (like the DC) unlike the Cyberpunk and Fast and the Furious, which were shown in Defender class.
But unlike the Godzilla, they didn't even do a preview that gave an outline idea of a figure - so they probably didn't even have a prototype that a licensor has signed off on, so you potentially might wait longer than you want to. Depends on how patient you are?

It was news to me, so I can't really tell you more, some of the SEA anons probably know more - can tell you more.
I probably should have cut that out from the last OP but I forgot all about it when I was editing stuff and carrying over. But I was making dinner and pirating some tv at the same time.

Damn, that's scary. I've seen news of cosplay issues, but not of beatings. Unfortunate, but if you're going to villify one it's weird to not to the others. Hopefully everything gets sorted out before long.
>>
>>11788904
The prototypes have been out for a while, there were posts in the last thread and those weren't new, I think they were at least a month old if not older. Given the while it took Rocket to hit North American sites for pre-order, unless you are in Asia, you're probably waiting till at least fall?

Didn't someone say that the DBZ rights are all tied up because that guy died? If that's the case, people who have a license right now, can continue to do shit, but people who want a new license, for whatever - not just toys - or NEED a license renewed, can't move forward
>>
>>11789165
>>11789301
IIRC, Shueisha and Toei having part of the rights, but then Toriyama transferred his part of the rights to a studio named Capsule Corporation Tokyo which is helmed by Akio Iyoku, who was a close associated of Toriyama

I guess we can take Macy's and Toys R Us off the OP as a retail option in the states. This is the third one I have been to since the holidays with no stock and no employees having any clue.
I did pick up some Dino eggs at the Walmart and a manga store had wave 1, so I grabbed two more.

It should be defender - and should be similarly to the Blokees Wheels - but not as boring (forgive me, Transformers fans) as the TF C01 and C02 lines but this will give you an idea:
https://blokees.com/en-us/collections/blokees-wheels-toys/products/blo kees-wheels-transformers-c02-wreck- and-rule
They don't sell them in North America, but the figures/kits will likely look more like the recent Batmobiles, I would guess.

They make really small, humanoid figures with SOME of the Defender tier vehicles. I'm sure when they do the Fast and the Furious vehicles they will make them as well. You can see them on the Blokee's Official link I showed you, they are small and probably now what you had in mind.
Also, I forgot to mention that the promo material they put out was for releasing these in 2027, so you got a bit of a wait. ALTHOUGH they did put out the Batmobile vehicles this year and did a new (additional) line of Transformer vehicles so far this year.

Interesting, do they have functioning cockpits for the mini figures?
Ironically for Transformers it's like going back to Diaclone with the drivers.
>>
>>
>>11791734
No, the drivers are for the Wheels line only. Also not all vehicles in the Wheels line can seat the drivers, like 1/3 the TF ones don't have enough space for them and the entire Batmobile wave is not compatible (hence they don't come with any batman minifigs)

I have a lot of comic shops in my metro area but the only ones I have hit (I still read, just don't buy any more) since I got into Blokees are still in their Funko or action figure phases, cards, etc. Things From Another World might have the Star Wars and Marvel Rivals blokees f

I'd flip for the chance to choose from such a selection. I've only got walmarts to shop at and while the few choices they carry always sell out the shelves rarely get restocked.
>>11790137
That ball was a real treat to build.
>>
>>11792505
Yeah, there's a Walmart about 5 miles away, they had two Transformers I've never seen in person, at a good price, and a butt load of Marvel Rivals Thor. They were supposed to have the MR Deadpool, Cap, and vanilla IM in stock but didn't. I wanted one of the Deadpool's for $14.99, the best price the website has is $19+ from a 3P Seller. They also were sold out of the Star Wars even though the website and app both claimed that had "low stock." I already ordered the three of those I wanted so I don't care, but still.
Walmart is a "global partner"of Blokees so it's unclear why they don't get restocked, but I went to Target tonight and realized I haven't see a TF galaxy blind box inside a Target since probably before Black Friday.

If you like transformers, then I recommend going to Walmart to get the galaxy series transformers one wave (the entire case, fresh), because for $5 a piece you get a nice variety of figures, all of which have great articulation, decent details, and some cool accessories.
The other stuff at $10 each is still great, and cases being guaranteed no dupes (almost, as it still does happen, just very rarely) basically eliminates the gambling aspect.

Pretty good for their price (99~128 RMB), with lots of parts separation so zero stickers. There are a lot of visible nubs though especially on the back, even on coated parts. There are also some weird decisions like how Lugiel's head LED is magnet-activated, but the chest is shake-activated.
Their smaller figures should be ok too. Keeppleey is actually Enlighten/Q-Man, one of the more reputable Chinese brick makers that had early access to Ultraman, Pokemon, Conan, etc IPs. Then Blokees came along and blew past them with the same IPs, so now they're playing catch-up.

Walmart, at least in retail, in person, is a waste of time. I have yet to see a case after looking in person in six different cities, approximately 10+ different (or simply same store, several months apart) attempts to look for Blokees since last summer.

I have two issues with ordering from Ali (and this is the States) and both revolve around the delivery.
I've posted about both on earlier Blokee's thread and other /toys/ thread here and elsewhere. One problem was a lack of delivery (UmiUmi's fault) where the driver either miss-delivered the case to the wrong address and the recipient just kept it - or possibly even tossed them) or worse, the driver just kept the case and claimed it was delivered (offering up what clearly looks like a small, flat book or magazine sized item as photographic proof of a Blokee's case).
To Ali's credit, they gave me a full refund ($80 or so?) and I didn't need to wait too long (about 7-10 days) from start to finish. But my first order with Ali and second UmiUmi (delivery service) problem was a single large action figure received but in a very damaged box.
There they offered to pay for delivery back - but wouldn't guaranteed a full refund until they 'inspected' the package and it was going to take a while. Most sources told me not to accept it. My CC company already told me they would fully refund me so I accepted a partial credit but it annoyed me because when I finally opened up the box, part of two joints were cracked. I was able to glue them but I shouldn't have had to do so.
>>11794534
>Europe
If all you want is Transformers, there are stores in the EU and in the UK that sell and ship to the EU. It's other Blokees licenses you would need to find elsewhere, but that might have improved as well.
>>
>>11794727
I mean, most of my champions boxes came flattened but I never had an issue with broken pieces or the like. Blokees boxes, mainly Champions Class aren't really strong enough to resist international shipping without another box on top of them, but no matter how fucked up the box was, I never had an issue with the contents, and I have quite a lot of them.
>>
File: AliExpress Blokees Damage 03.jpg (1.9 MB)
>>11794734
>I never had an issue with the contents
The plastic wrapping bag that Umi Umi put my Blokee's Champion box in, also had two Chinese BootLEGOs that were barely $2 each including the shipping/tax fee charged (for what normally sell for $20 and one of them was a retired set, so most asshole sell it for $40-60 even used on ebay). Those just came with the reprinted instructions booklet with the covers torn off but all the pieces were ALL just dumped in those cellophane wrapper bags. And none of those were cracked or broken.
But when I opened up my Champion box two of the trays were mostly separated and one of those is a joint piece and it was cracked into two, like a toothpick can be cracked. Not hard to glue together, I just used gorilla glue and taped it up while it was drying/curing. So far is seems fine and it's an internal joint so nothing 'shows.' The other one is on the dog and it's visible if you turn the dog around in your hands and inspect it. So it's the one that annoys me. I will eventually buy a clean box somewhere and replace/sell this off.
It came inside a fairly stable look box.
Don't get me wrong, I'm probably going to order some more Chinese BootLEGO from Ali sometime soon, and I've been wanting to order a CT, but I doubt I will order something like a model kit from them, not as long as Ali continues to use UmiUmi in the States for the last mile.

PICREL is the alleged Blokee's case - Galaxy class - so it should contain an approximate 12" x 12" x about 6" cardboard box.
That door you see by the UmiUmi driver's feet is also not my door or even a door into my complex. It's about 10 feet NEAR the large (big enough for a vehicle to drive through) gate to my complex, but that door the driver left this at is a clearly marked fire equipment access door for the fire department. It's not even a locked and secure area.
At least when fucking OnTrac does a shitty delivery job and doesn't leave crap at my unit, they do leave it INSIDE the gated courtyard. This was also dropped off in the middle of the night, like at 3 am. Someone wrote on another thread that UmiUmi uses a lot of SEA expats going to school as drivers and thought some of them were like really tired pre-med students after an 18 hour shift who has just crammed as many packages as they could into the trunk of like a Toyota Camry and that's why shit got so damaged and so many miss-delivery mistakes are made.
>>
>>
>>11795441
Well, I spent more time than I should have with UmiUmi - they actually at one point were pointing to also giving me a refund but what I want/wanted was my fucking case.
But it still took a week once I made a claim on Ali before they decided to refund me the entire amount even though I have better proof, like a close-up of the address showing it was clearly not my address. I'm just not going to dox myself on this shit hole site.
And then once they agreed to refund me, it took another 3/4 business days for my CC company to confirm. It's not out of my checking account and didn't impact anything but I can see for people who pay out of their checking account or have limited credit that it would be painful and a huge hassle.

What are the chances we get a Supergirl fig? Always wanted that Revlotech Supergirl but the price is absurd. After buying the Superman Blokees I'm absolutely blown away by the fig. I just wish the other Blokees DC figs weren't some ugly mecha OC crap. Why not just give us nice classic comic book designs?
>>
File: HASBRO HOLE.png (382.0 KB)
>>11797019
Invisible Woman is a more recent design. We've already talked here and it's been discussed elsewhere that Blokees seems to be improving on and redoing designs with nearly every iteration. Unlike say McFarlane, or Hasbro, or Mattel, they are reusing molds BUT they are also able to alter and fix things versus getting stuck only being able to reuse an entire full mold.
I mean, how many Hasbro figures have those holes in the back where a gear pack would (Joe's) or something like a Cap shield go would go (Legends) but in the released toy is just a hole in the back of the torso?

Based on the Justice League defenders (which are based on the Snyder movies), we will eventually get more comic accurate looks. But based on the fact that they did a movie look for CorenSupes and these upcoming Defenders, it looks like they are licensed to do the films.
So I do think we will get a Supergirl - eventually. But that's just a guess. And honestly, I thought it would be for sale in SEA by now - or at least a prototype, but we are barely getting a Spider-Man for the movie instead.
Also, don't forget we got a very normalish looking Nightwing and a pretty normal (for the cartoon) Batman Beyond.

>just not accurate to the actual movie
I think we're thinking different things when we use words like "animated" or "cartoony."
The blind box Marvel Spidey & Friend Hasbro toy equivalents that Blokees does, which I think look okay, and even purchased one (to get the Spider-Ham) are what I think of as "cartoony" and that look like action figures of "animated" characters, in the same way the VHS Spider-Man does for Marvel Legends (or a more recent example, the ML Zombie Hunter Spidey from the What If! animated cartoon, or the ATSV 6 inch figures).
I don't think the BND Spidey will look much different than the Galaxy Class blind box.

>I don't know why I did not provide a stand for this
I actually think it would be great if Blokees sold stands separately.
As to the why, I know people were complaining on the TF forums about the stands, lack of stands, needing to use stands (really display bases) for those kits and they got rid of them with - I think wave 7? Or around that time frame? I forget since I don't collect TF.

>>11799433
If they're smart, they just make 1/12 scale vehicles for their other lines. All the TF ones have had an inner skeleton.
>>11803520
He looks great, but what's next, more Optimus or other Prime? Though, if we do get more Optimus I'd be interested in their interpretations of various more modern versions.

They're doing a 2.0 G1 Prime apparently followed by an IDW Autobot Megs since that's his fusion cannon poking out of the space bridge.
>>
>>11803564
Right i forgot about him. I appreciate the little redesigns, and the carryover of the Siege shield/axe is always fun. I guess the original Prime is mostly a standalone, always looking a bit more cartoony than the rest.

So, does anyone have the Machamp? I have the Tomy articulated figure from ten years ago and am wondering if it's worth getting the Blokees? Also, what's the situation with the line? We getting more mons soon?

>Machamp
you are better off asking on reddit or just lurking on the blokees facebook page
just use your gam gam's account to read that
and for reddit you don't need one, just browser search
you can still buy the machamp in asia
you cant in the states cept from scalpers and third party sellers

if the charizard is any indiciator, it should be really good. you can probably find reviews of this guy already

the simple asnwer is mcfarlane toys are wack and stuck in the past. the longest assembly was probably Legend Eva 01 which had so many tiny pieces. Moon Knight took me about 2 hours because I was sanding and cleaning nub marks. sanding takes more time than the actual assembly

Well if anyone wanted some toy story that is not mattel crap or having to fetch the Revo stuff, here is this. And of course they come with it's own awful naming lol: Toy Story ELITE VERSION 01
>>

Judging my the pic below they almost look Marvel Legend sized, It's about all I wanted really
I know there was a 2.0 Revoltech that was basically just the original with an extra change or two and a huge ass fucking $180+ Chogokin that's the "Ultimate" really but I was hoping for an actually just good sturdy Action Figure of them

yeah I hate to say it but ali has let me down when it comes to figures shipping in good condition, everything else has been fine for me on the most part. shame too cause now I have to wait for bo katan and mando on like amazon or something, same case might be for the upcoming ones as well
>>
>>
>>11804771
just ask the seller for some reinforced packaging and they'll likely do it. ive had ali purchases that come in those styrofoam cooler things that they put seafood in. of course it wasnt a used one. but very protective. i would also advice recording unboxings for anything that comes from china

even bandai doesnt give us movable eyes or kotobukiya. model kits tend to focus on decals but thats only if they give out extra faces like miku

That's literally on the op. I wrote that like 3 threads ago. Still, it's kind of a mess because they are not even classes anymore they are series. And there is also other series like Dalamode having like 3 different kind of formats (Big dolls, small dolls, nendos)

I haven't tried that yet, but I am about to break down and try another order from Ali. I tried a case thinking that would help, and it doesn't - because a case just comes in that box and those boxes are thin - fine for a display in a aisle at Target or Wally's but shit for a plastic bag some asshole UmiUmi driver shoves into their Kia trunk.
>>11804771
Like I wrote, surprisingly, other things like my KO Chinese BlockLEGO set, that literally came in just cellophane packages when it's some 200 pieces, and literally can more easily crack or have labels easily peel off, came in near mint condition and it was my brand new Blokees that were trashed all to hell.
The only problem with the "brick compatible" KO I ordered from Ali actually turned out to be a few missing pieces, which I may have actually lost under the table since I built it in my community room with a few of the neighbor kids. And there are several mall LEGO stores nearby so easy to cheaply get those pieces.

BBTS has the Champion and Grogu for $29.99; EE has it for $2 less. It's possible GameStop might carry it but if EE is selling it, it's legal to sell in the USA and that means you might find it at Walmart for less than retail, like the Darth and Han/Luke Troopers.
The Bo Katan I can't help you with.

We don't know yet "ELITE VERSION" It's another confusing name that has been used for a coupe of hours since the announcement. But they do look too detailed for being little figurines (hero5-10) maybe they are gonna be their own series like the sesame street ones

Maybe? Thing is, every other toy company in China, mostly brick makers, have made their own competing lines, so you'd be letting those in too. Might not be a bad thing with some variety.

>>11806307
I wouldn't mind them doing their own line (similar to the Hirospire they release) of retro-futuristic robots, but nice, clean 1950s inspired look and feel - which I appreciate is more Japanese than Chinese, but they have to accept that unless they want to only sell in China, they have to appeal to a broader market - and frankly, the Japanese have them beat on pop cultural importance.

Awful how everytime there are more and more blindboxes. Makes me think that one of the reasons Pokemon has not returned (even when other chinese pokemon products returned already) is that they are rebranding everything into blind boxes. They already did that with the Minions when they used to be regular product like sesame street and pokemon
>>
>>11807984
lucky for you theyre probably the least desired ones
>>11807999
dont think they'll ever do that for pokemon. its still just china military bullshit. plus, theres only so much minions. its bound to go into blind box territory when they complete the rounds for the 10th time

>should we include Keepley in these threads?
>because theyre kinda similar to blokees
These examples of "Keep Pley's" packaging and even logo makes me think they are a Chinese KO company wanting people to confuse them for Blokees; the other Keeppley stuff I find on-line all looks like third party blocklego knock-offs, and we ALREADY have a decently popular and successful Knock-Off and 3P Brick general.
The Keeppley that isn't quite LEGO, that even looks like gunpla military planes or Qposket figurines, or that looks like, yes, Blokees, such as their Ultraman, I personally don't think that last bit is enough to tack on Keeppley to the Blokees General.
>>11806745
>>11806761
That said, if a lot of people actually wanted it, I wouldn't argue vehemently against it.
A few have been asking for a Third Party Chinese toy gen of late - I made a post about CT/Mess and asked why we didn't have a gen to talk about KOs (without thinking specifically of Chinese KO), even if it was just -- at least -- an infrequent, irregular general.
And some of the few people who chimed in that we should have a 3rd Party Chinese Gen. I don't know if it's the same two or three people, but we're not going to know until it's tried out. Right now, someone tried an Revo/AY Gen and no one seems interested even if those toys are actually probably more popular that that "unpopular" Gen would imply.
>>
>>11807999
>more and more blindboxes
That's not at all true.
We've had Naruto, Saint, and Ultraman sets, most of which are really reasonable to order the entire case - none of which would net you a duplicate. And singles of Saints, Evas, Narutos, Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel Rivals, etc. etc.
That's a good chunk of the "recent" stuff.
Blind boxes is part of the Blokees brand.
It's like complaining that McFarlane only releases Batman figures.
Or that Marvel Legends only releases Spider-Man figures.

Theyre not even close to KOs who are trying to trick people into buying them. Theyre like a respectable rival. like megabloks to legos, keeppley to blokees. I mean just look at this. Not even Bandai's FRS line can offer something like this
>>
>>11808087
>Theyre not even close
I wasn't claiming them, or even suggesting that, friend.
I was saying - if all I knew and saw was those two packages, especially the lego design, that's what would come to mind. If what I found is all the same company, then they are doing a bunch of types of toys - more like Hasbro or Mattel than what Blokees is doing, which is more simply scale of the same exact thing, across their multiple IP lines.
ALSO - there's nothing stopping you from making your own Keepley general.

Got this absolute cutie from the walmart today. The second egg I picked up had a severed trike skull and I was so fucking let down because I wanted another buildable figure, not an invite to continue to gamble. What a delightful mini kit, I'm hooked off one the first one.
If only they scaled these dinosaurs up and improved the articulation I cannot see Mattel mattering anymore.

since he's non-human, he's probably gonna be big unlike the humans so far which are about 1/12. rocket and jeff are the same height in the game. Rocket is about 1/7 scale standing at 13.8cm so Jeff is probably gonna be that big too. I wonder though, because we know Invisible woman's box and from that, her height, but no signs of Jeff. Is Jeff not gonna release alongside her? i guess he could be early July as solo release. I can't see BND Spiderman being that far from movie date.

I keep seeing those Bandai kits, which are larger dinos, at Ross, for like $8-15 depending on the animal.
