Not as much as you'd think. Tomy did a very nice job on the toys all things considered, but it was a pretty basic set of figures and then repaints and the like. I still wish wave 2 had come out.

Disney didn't expect the movie to blow up like it did. Supposedly they were having panic meetings to start merchandising it better. Who knows how long it takes for those wheels to turn. There's the Gong studios Nick and Judy that're up for pre-order at least...and a few other things from overseas. Japan seemed to get more than we did. Again.

Likewise, the new Yoshi game that just came out was also arranged to tie into the movie's release window. Yeah but Fox was well received as far as I can tell. He was likeable, fun, and for degenerates his black lips looked like slutty lipstick. I agree he felt out of place, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't one of the best parts of the movie. Got this guy in the mail today. Like the Great Wolves he's based on the Van Helsing werewolf, aka the sexiest werewolf. He's smaller though, and proportionally more solid. The Great Wolves have all those joint issues, can barely stand up half the time. This guy, much better in that regard. Joints supple and sweet. He doesn't have the opening jaw, though, that's minus one star right off the top.
