I thought it was pretty good and never understood the hate. Ben Foster is a great actor. I stopped playing World of Warcraft in 2008 and didn't keep up with the story.

I do wish there were more Night Elves even though they were chinese. I also liked the soundtrack. I used to play it during battlegrounds. My dad also really likes the movie.

What's the point of an "honour duel" with explicit agreed rules, like no armour if one nigger can just bring an AR-15 to the basketball court after school and be declared the winner. Yeah I know "might makes right" but the whole point of codified rules to your death duel is that you actually have to risk your life and actually be the strongest, not just stab the other guy in his sleep
as someone who knows zilch about WoW lore, I enjoyed it. The action and graphics are decent, the half-orc woman was hot (what is it about black women in green body paint???) and the storyline was refreshingly free of cliché; for example, I expected the human King to be a coward and let his people down, but he was actually courageous and based. I liked the, dare I say it, sensitive portrayal of the orcs, and I also liked that there were no really arbitrarily evil characters in the movie. Even the Orc shaman leader was clearly corrupted by the Fel, and still took care of his people in his own way. And even the Fel itself wasn't completely evil.... because from Light comes darkness... AND FROM DARKNESS, LIGHT

The movie should have been a full CGI animation, but I guess that might have made the budget even bigger.

Male druids have been slumbering for thousands of years, while the female sentinels and priestesses are hinding, protecting their forest.
Thought it was dumb it didnt focus on the more popular story arc of Arthas and so on, and it hurt its success. I bet they were planning it to be a series of movies except starting with something most people dont care about killed it befre it got going.
