I'm 35 years old and I have never, ever been as disappointed by something in my life as I was by season 2. Season 1 is bordering perfect, one of the best things I've ever watched. I've re watched it at least 8 times. Season 2 feels like it was written by AI and then edited by a drunk with ADHD. I'm still fucking mad. To squander such immense potential should have consequences. The sole thing I kind of liked about it was that Vi found a peaceful life after it all, but even that is tainted by the trash fire that it took to get there. FUCK.

The animation was very good, idc about LoL lore so the story didn't bother me. Way too many musical segments on s2 though. Anyways this was much better than the DotA anime.
It's too bad they undermined the ending of S1 by going the exact opposite direction with her character. I don't mind redemption at some point but come on. Her whole shizo aspect was forgotten about in season 2

I didn't really care that much about the show, I thought the worldbuilding was relatively weak and hackneyed (it very much seemed like they were just trying to connect and extrapolate invented backstories from unrelated MOBA characters into a coherent world but had to make some REAL major leaps to make them touch) and a non-significant percent of the runtime was spent on really stupid side-characters that never amounted to anything.
The sexual tension between Jinx and the guy with the fucked up face was kinda weird. And also I kind of just wished they spent more time showing off her stomach and side-boob rather than whatever clearly-written-by-lesbians-and-queers pseudo romance shit they tried to make happen that just didn't land.
