>>220463771 There are so many modern horror novels that good movies could be made out of, it's honestly a pretty happening genre. But instead they just ignore them to make The Conjuring 7
>>220463771 >And then the shark started swimming towards Brody. *dun dun dun dun* "Uh oh," Brody thought, "we aren't in Kansas anymore, Richard Dreyfuss." >"What?" Replied Hooper.
>>220464030 >And then the shark's head jumped out the water like BLAH while Brody wasn't looking and you could see it over his shoulder and he turned round and saw it and was stunned He backed away slowly "You're going to need a bigger boat" he said.
>>220464177 >The shark was fearsome but was obvious as an animatronic at times but for the most part it didn't age too poorly, anyways the shark went away because there's no such thing as an infinite budget.
>>220463771 I actually read the book as a kid who had yet to see the movie. The early description of a girl who had been bit in half and the detectives or whatever they were vomiting at the sight shook me up at the time. There was a lot of sex and it seemed almost no shark til the end which disappointed me. You could find all sorts of raunchy shit in libraries, dunno how it is now since I don't read.
