He has more screentime in some of the sequels.
>>
>>220463908
Yes horror villains should have limited screentime for greater impact
Horror villains that are in every scene aren't that scary
>>
another day another thread where OP didnt understand hellraiser

For me, it was Fat Pinhead
>>
>>220463908
Hellbound was pretty fuckin epic though
>>
>>220463908
He also jobs like a bitch in the sequel. He's overhyped, weird how he got a reputation for being scary when 1) he's a weakling pussy in the original and 2) he gets recast as a tranny in Current Year remake.

His screentime in the sequel consists of crying over how he used to be human then getting instantly rekt by an old fatass doctor

>watching hellraiser for beta pinhead
>not for chaddard
>>
>>220464032
Is that from the Mexico one or the stupid director's vanity project one? Bradley didn't play Pinhead in either of those ones.
>>
>>220463908
In a way that's sort of the premise of the whole deal. The greatest pleasure is the brief respite from the suffering.
>>
>>220464045
Yea I was gonna say I checked these out before the sequel Hellbound was the only one worth seeing I guess the first one for context but the second one was the only one actually like crazy and cool as fuck at times and weird they took it to a whole other level with the second one
>>
>>220463908
I don't really consider Hellraiser scary, but I love the aesthetic of it, and find the atmosphere of it to be cozy, in a weird way. Almost the entire movie takes place in that one house.
>>
>>220463908

Franchise needs a reboot. The "hell priests" need to be a neutral entity, like death. Not bad guys, not superhero good guys. Just guys that will show you that pain and pleasure taken to the extreme is exactly the same. You want to die afterwards because there's literally nowhere else to go. You've experienced everything there is. No point in going on.

it's such a retarded character design
>>
>>220466646
It’s iconic as fuck you retarted slut.
>>
>>220466781
yeah iconically retarded
>>
>>220463908
Your expectations versus reality. He’s also not even called Pinhead in that movie

>>220464058
Having a cool look and a handful of genuinely iconic lines will do wonders for a character’s reputation

>be me 2012ish
>go to City Colleges of Chicago
>take a film course
>its mostly dracula, 12 angry men, art films
>kid next to me is this nerdy pimply white guy
>he tells me he is very close personal friends with clive barker
>goes into detail about how close they are, writting love letters to each other
>mfw hellraiser guy is having sex with this poor chicago boy
>mfw the movie makes sense

Yeah like the creature that haunts the piece of glass above your bathroom sink

Haven’t seen the movie in a long time. What’s the TL;DR
>>
>>220466620
If they’re completely “neutral” then they become boring. The only reason they’re scary in the first one is because they are not just after Frank who escaped Hell, they were going to take Kirsty too for the fun of it.
>>
>>220467130
So you were jelly of him?

Ignore the anons that’ll try to troll you and watch Hellraiser: Inferno next, it’s the best one.

reminder pinhead is literally blown up by a bomb in the canonical future, and none of the other movies mention him surviving it, so canonically, that is how he dies

blown up by a space bomb

THE BURGERS
YOU ORDERED THEM
WE ATE
>>
>>220466620
>flesh rent from body for the 10000th time
>never experienced two ice cream cones in a row
i think the whole premise leans obliquely toward the pain side of things, i have to say

She was in love with her husband’s brother who was a crazy guy that was into drugs and S&M sex and she loathed her husband for being so boring. At least that’s how it is in the book.
