>>220464274 actually it's even simpler than that. It's basic physics that the water will only fill up to the point of the hole. The porthole wasn't at the roof, so there still would've been space above where the water would've stopped filling in
>>220464749 It wasn't a boat you mong, it was an underwater base. The base literally had a moonpool that works based on the same basic physics I just outlined.
>>220464714 Desmond kept saving Charlie from his Final Destination thing, I think Charlie just gave up. Though you’d think will to live would’ve kicked in.
It’d be funny if as soon as the cameras were off him he just bobbed up into an air cavity and treaded water until he died thinking “damn maybe I should’ve not been so dramatic, if I end up surviving it will be mad awkward around Desmond next time we meet”
>>220464913 It's good to very good all the way through and is worth watching. Unfortunately Matthew Fox is just awful and he is nominally the main character. Goes to show how far standards have fallen these days that people were actually complaining about the last 2 seasons of LOST.
>>220466381 Conversely, Terry O'Quinn is just fantastic and he is nominally the secondary main character until he fucking dies and plays a completely different character for the last two seasons.
>>220465862 At a depth of 10 m, the gauge pressure outside the window is about 0.97 atm. Water would fill the chamber until the pressure equalized, not just to the level of the window. For a room height of about 2 meters (6.6 ft), the pressure would equalize at a height of about 1.8 m (5.9 ft). Dominic Monaghan is 5.6 ft. So unfortunately he drowns anyways because he's a midget.
>>220464274 Charlie was supposed to die, the island killed him once already and made it clear that his purpose was to sacrifice himself. That's why Desmond had the visions and memories of everyone who's name was written on the Island. Also charlie wouldn't have made it out of the base without drowning, its simply impossible.
