Women reporters are pretty good storytelling vehicles but I don't know what the fuck is left to do with these ninja turtles. In the original comics they drank beer and had filthy language and disemboweled people and they all had red masks. We ain't doing that unless it's a gritty animated feature. In the roleplaying game it was a whole near-future world where many animals got mutated and I guess learned martial arts or something.

Okay so it's a prestige drama about a reporter chick who likes the color yellow She is investigating crime and shit, and she has a boyfriend who is leading a double life and is caught up in the crime shit And then the crime is slowly revealed as ninjas, and also it's some kind of science lab shit going down, this is basically the movie with Megan Fox But she has to slowly and painfully figure out that there are ninja turtles, and Leonardo starts dropping her clues and hints because that subverts your expectations of him being a rules guy So she lays a trap and meets Leonardo for real and now he's secretly working with her and has to keep that quiet from his bros There you go, that's like 14 episodes
