he did make a post saying to look forward to his next work. Some time ago he did make an announcement that he was making one of his Fanbox/Pixiv yuri posts into a full blown series. I wonder if he finally decided to just focus on that. His posts on those platforms are super infrequent now and sadly, his last major posts are futa instead of pure yuri. Who knows what could happen next.

I'm looking at my shelves and the only thing that I can spot that has a ton of volumes in a row are the other titans of that era like yuru yuri (2008) and murcielago (2013). Maybe also Konohanatei Kitan (2009 and Konohana kitan (2013) if you count the split serialization gap. Are there even any currently running serials that are likely to last 15 years in the current market? Seems impossible. 15 years is really amazing. What a feat that this series not only stayed good but kept improving over time.
Sad to see it end. But I hope the mangaka rests well and we get another yuri series from him as well. I'd love to see this get officially translated so I can add it to my ever-growing physical yuri library

Only Elisha x Honoka got a good ending chapter, the rest got nothing. Was it suddent axe or author health issues won here? Cause it is really hard to belive he didn't want to add any kind of epilogue chapter to each pairing he created over the years like it happened aside of one. It is disappointing ending as it is.

Some of the pairings would be considered bait (of the friendship ending variety) with how they only got hints and no actual onscreen anything, see Nonono/Yumimi and Haruka/Kanae.

Ch. 159, the night pool one, is definitely one of my favorites. It's one of the first times you realize these two idiots do have a private, intimate side, but it's one that makes perfect sense with what we've seen about their relationship. Before, you wonder if they know what sex is. After, you're pretty sure they've had sex.

I discovered the series because of this thread like a couple days ago and binged it. I feel like the status of some pairings is more or less fine but the way ayano and miyoshi were treated is criminal
.... ayano and miyoshi T T. I just like their character as individuals and think they work great together, they have a good buildup too. I also like mio and shizuka a bunch. Mio scares me with her intensity sometimes, but overall they're very cute and I adore how they mach eachothers freaks. What about you anon?

I always find it unfair when big ensemble cast series like this end with unresolved pairings. You are already giving everyone a girlfriend, so why not go all the way?

I lost interest in this manga that goes nowhere many, many years ago. So, did they finally get somewhere? The ending was decent. Of all the Yuri manga I've ever seen, this was the most frustrating for me.
