And to add on top of the whole "local" and "foreign" aspects KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon have their respective focus on, five of the Warrior Ten are native to Shambala (Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, Wood), while the other five come from all sorts of places (Light and Water at least should come from Iliad, Thunder from the Metal Empire, Darkness from the Dark Area where Pharaohmon also came from, and Steel from Witchelny). That's how I see the origins of the Warrior Ten before they became the 20 Spirits.

The way it combines the four elements reminds me of Angewomon X Antibody.
