Most of 2010s assets are from Trinity Universe and were replaced during mk2s development. I think it is safe to say besides enemies and player characters, nothing from 2010 ever returns. A shame because I miss them all having guns.

i think they're sort of trying to make nep "bigger", considering the general scope of the games. it seems like the "classic" sort of map was used up to blanc's game/sega hard girls, and then they started making them way bigger and more open/labyrinthian with 4go, scaled back with the ninja game, and then i think that svs was really some sort of tech demo for being able to piece together environments from prefabs (and also explorable towns, but they seemed to have dropped that idea) so they could make GM:R, which is honestly what I think Neptunia might stay as from now on.

oh GM:R is WAYYY better than SvS, afaik they literally don't re-use a theme once besides the office one like 2 or 3 times, and even then the layout and coloring and such are way different (first is massive and sprawling horizontally, second you're trying to climb up and have to use a ton of stairs). they also just look generally better too, with more enviromental details and especially lighting effects/color schemes. SvS is honestly made obsolete because they even have (iirc) optional areas designed to look like the SvS ones, with the only ones not coming back being Planeptune and also the Gamindustri Graveyard(although I think they used those assets for the junkyard).

when i say SvS was a tech demo, i really think it was literally a tech demo for making new environments and the new battle.disc system before they invested all their time and money into GM:R. it's a shame they aren't showing screenshots because they actually did go way beyond for it.

Fair enough, SvS was paticularly bad because I seem to remember the layouts being very similar even if it was in a different biome.
I already have it on pc and I barely touch my Switch, I basically only ever used it for SMTV and Fire Emblem TH and Engage but I do not touch TH anymore. After installing CFW or whatever it was on my Vita I have been on that more as well. It is especially nice to be able to play Valkyria 2 with the original voices and 3 on the go.

SMTV was a very sparse game with way too much hype surrounding it. Barely any story cutscenes (there’s like 5-7 at most) the first area being the only one worked on, TWO dungeons that aren’t a sand area and even then were messy (fan ‘puzzle’ and last area having enemies placed in a hodge podge manner), barely any character in the characters, two good scenes in the entirety of the game, and overall just a very slapdash title. Yeah the 3D modeling for the demons and working with UE was hell, but holy shit was the game shit. Don’t get me started on the final boss Lucifer, who was laughably easy if you didn’t do the secret true ending (he’s still piss easy because what is game balance lmao)

TLDR: SMTV is if VII was only the Gold Third section with Kurome as a boss that had two scenes, and the final boss was Rei Ryghts with a NEXT form that died from two EXE skills

You can use Alice or any demon you want as long as you want honestly, especially since you get a bunch of buffing items in V. The tedious part is fusion with skills you want but you can plan for that at least. Alice was a permanent fixture once I fused her, right up until the final boss fight.

The reason is I like her and that is all I need. I used her for everything and I was not struggling as a result of it either. You can give her pierce as well so weaknesses do not really matter at that point.
I think her unique was better than heavy but weaker than severe, I have her set up with Die For Me and Mudobarion. The worst part about DFM is random targeting rather than just targeting everyone.
