Waifu simply means wife, it's the same feeling that any man has when he falls in love with a woman in real life, but in our case she just so happened to be 2D. And in that same vein, love is between only two people, and it's for life.
More than one waifu will ruin your laifu, and waifu is forever!

Every two months we put together a drawing collage, typically themed around the holiday of that season. Submit a drawing in the thread and everyone's artwork will be put together in one big ol' collage showing off everyone's efforts!
It's all about expressing your love, not artistic ability, so don't think you shouldn't participate just because you're not a master artist! And you could always submit a holiday themed photo of a shrine, a pic of food you've cooked up for your waifu, or participate in any way you can show your love!

New Artifact Recovery looks cool so far. Finally they made an Integrated Strategies clone that’s actually interesting. Just wish it had more lore and theme to it. I recall the IS modes in Arknights being more colorful. They each even had their own theme songs.

I can answer that. She changed from a human into a daemon, specifically a therion, following the betrayal of her brother-in-law (may he rot in screaming, fiery agony forever), who sacrificed her little brother and tried to do the same to her. The daemons took a shine to her, though, and fused with her severed left arm instead, which is why she has a big claw in its place.

I prefer 3, I was very happy when it got a re-release on PS5 a few months ago.

Playing 7th Dragon VFD, a series that started similar to Etrian Odyssey but later games were set in the near future. It has one of my favorite new classes: the duelist, as in card duelist, it's like a mini deck builder in a JRPG mage class.

The last time I'd cared about pokemon was back with sun/moon.
Tried it out again with legends arceus but its really weird how they don't understand how to just go with the comfy vibes of the gamecube titles or try something NEW.
The only thing that would get me back into Pokemon is them evolving like palworld or having some kind of continuity with the previous game. So you can start off with the pokemon you already had. For all the hype around the "choose a starter" meme and how people supposedly care for their first starter pokemon, there's a ton of emotional detachment from the entire fanbase and developers when you have to start over in every title and do not have the option to continue with the piplup that you started the series with. Would be like if ash had to just throw away pikachu after every anime season. Makes no sense and is false advertising.

She is paired up a lot with Mismagius as both are know for their hexing prowess, for both good and bad depending on who they like or dislike. Depends on which point in the story she's at. During the prologue, yes, she's the biggest sweetheart around. After the 3 year timeskip, she's terrible at it, or more accurately, she doesn't have any time to spare on caring about making anyone feel better because she's so single-minded in pursuit of her revenge. After the party softens her up, she goes back to being quite good at it, although she's never as bright and cheerful as she was when she was 16.

One of Towa's most important scenes in the whole series is helping Rean with his grief after everything goes to hell.

As far as family goes, we only really know about Annette's father, Gilbert. Formerly Gustave, he abandoned his family out of shame for, in his words, failing to protect the king. He's cursed with guilt, but through his and Annette's efforts, they reunite as a family. I really like his character, even with his flaws. His flaws make him an interesting character and seeing him improve is satisfying. There's also Annette's uncle, Baron Dominic. He's a pretty noble guy, standing by his family, despite technically siding with the Empire. He even protects Gilbert's wife. He's a pretty cool dude. Then there's Annette's best friend, Mercedes. Mercedes is very sweet and a great friend to Annette.I will say, their support convo is the weakest as it's tough to develop a relationship that's already established.GODS GIVE ME MY STEP MOM'S NAME AND MY STUFF IS YOUR'S

Her little sister Komekko is adorable and I want to spoil her with treats and food.
I'll be honest and say I'm not a huge fan of her parents because of how neglectful they were when she was growing up, they'd leave Megumin and later Komekko all by themselves while they were traveling for work.
And while it is to my benefit, they have little issue with setting up their daughter with someone if they have lots of money, so to win their favor all I would need to do is be financially well off.
But Megumin doesn't take much issue with her parents neglectfulness, which I can understand as well because of just how poor they were/are, and their work necessitating travel.
Lots of complex feelings there.
As for her friends, they'd be my friends too.
Aqua and Darkness would accompany us for almost all our adventures, so undoubtedly I'd become really close with them. Aqua I kinda see like a low IQ big sis that needs lots of help, who's really fun to hang with when she's not messing something up, and Darkness, while she can get kinda awkward with her masochism, is a good and intelligent person when she's not thinking about getting beat up. There would never be a dull moment with them.
And Yunyun, poor girl needs friends, and while maybe it'd bug Megumin at first (or she'd pretend it does), I'd like to invite Yunyun over to hang out with us often.

Her mission put her at odds with her family (especially her father, who thought about drowning her since he thought she was going off to be a harlot), which is unfortunate since she clearly loved them dearly. Her father died from despair after her execution, and her mother spent 20 years getting her a retrial. I'm glad both of them are still honored in Domremy-la-Pucelle.
As for her friends, Jean, Jean, and La Hire are all quite entertaining figures. It's a shame that they often get overshadowed by Gilles.

Well at the beginning of the game all of them are dead except her little brother and her piece of worthless shit brother-in-law. You never even see her parents but you do see her older sister Celica in flashbacks, and she seemed basically like an older, slightly more reserved version of prologue Velvet, very sweet and a total homemaker.
Laphicet is about what you'd expect from a younger brother, he adores his sister and he worries about her future and her happiness. He does stuff like sneak out while he's sick to buy her a new comb after hers broke because he thinks her hair is pretty and he wants her to be able to look nice and eventually score a husband.Of course he ends up dead but I like to think we would have gotten along.
Her brother-in-law Artorius is the main antagonist of the story, and if you put me in a room with him and Hitler and gave me a loaded gun I would beat Artorius to death with the gun.

They don't show up in game, but Lysi's parents are probably the kindest and nicest people in the Alliance, they suffered under the empire(and led to everything that happened to Lysi) because they helped people escaping from it. Her dad had a mental breakdown from most of his children being gone and Lysi being sick that he barely moves or talks by the time the game happens.
The Golden Deer definitively deserved better, their route is just reused map in 3H, and they did get a brand new route in Hopes, but the less I speak of that the better. I also find it funny that in contrast to Edelgard, Lysi is good friends with the Church staff.

I really liked SWTOR and think people were too harsh on it. Got really into it too. But MMOs in general arent really a social experience from what i'd played. SWTOR was more of a single player with MMO aspects stapled onto it. Is also fully voiced.
Way too toxic and dehumanizing to "randoms" and then they bemoan the lack of players to do endgame content while being the cause of that problem. Waifu encouraged me to stop playing poorly designed games like that where no one can just kick you from the party for no reason.
Like Helldivers 2. I can solo the rest of the level 10 dive without dying while the retards don't understand its a run & gun kind of game, just like the first game, and you will just waste our respawns trying to do a final stand.

Prior to 1, its somewhat implied she's still ostracized from the others at the orphanage, and not seeing much success or at least enough that she's willing to pack up and go on an adventure to become a star of stage and screen.
She does meet the PHM! crew, so she at least makes some good friends during.
After 1, her career takes off, and she's successful enough to live a comfortable life.
To the point where by 3 living her dream has worn out the novelty, and she's starting to feel the loneliness of success.
And after 3, she's at the very least loved by the children living at her orphanage. Which, I like to think finally gives her a feeling of fulfillment.

in gfl1 the very few people that even know her are scared of her or at the very least wary of her. she doesn’t have many friends, and even her own teammates klukai and mechty constantly question her orders and motives. however, her goals align somewhat with everybody else’s, and she eventually gains people’s trust, which she kinda takes for granted anyway.
in gfl2 she loosens up a bit and maintains a professional relationship with kalina as they both work in some sort of glowie organization. leva acts more professional but still most people seem to recognize that trouble always seems to follow her.

But yeah, GFL1 is definitely an older style game. Only really cleared the first chapter. They did give a copy of your girl as a clear reward from the achievements. And what I'm seeing recommends her for an early AR/SMG team.

She does indeed, being the Vampire Queen of Japan, and a third progenitor means she has quite a lot of power and say, though it doesn't go as far as it should. Ye Leva functions completely different in the first game, and she’s a 4* Doll so she’s not the strongest either sadly. The game also classes Dolls by their weapon type, SMGs being sort of evasive tanks to support AR Dolls, who are the main damage dealers.
Also, GFL1 is notorious for having really boring first few chapters. The dialogue in those chapters is just terrible too. I was just rereading them a few months ago and it genuinely made me cringe sometimes lel. If you can push through it, you can see Team DEFY first show up around chapter 10 which is when the story really starts picking up. Then there’s RPK-16, the fourth member of DEFY, who’s a really interesting character. Hope you enjoy it.

There are some highlights in the 3D age, ironically Tangled is in my top 3and Annette loves Frozenbut the drought of western 2D animation has been felt for too long. That and I miss sincerity. Too many movies are "self aware" and have to make laugh of everything.

The sad thing is it looks like Star Wars will be in the next Kingdom Hearts. At least the first KH4 trailer hinted at it. I do like the idea of Keyblade Masters vs Jedi but thematically I wish they would stick to Disney cartoons and Final Fantasy. I didn't even like having Pirates of the Caribbean in the game and I LOVE those movies but it doesn't fit the games thematically.
