My biggest fear with HS was ping, IL to East coast US can be pretty bad.

The biggest threats to joining a guild outside your region are the following

This cannot be changed so if you want to attend this is a pretty big hurdle. The cross region lag is playable but it is unlikely to as enjoyable for you as your own region
>When BA/Showdown/Guild Parties are set
While this can be changed this is likely to be at a time that suits the timezone for the majority of guild members. The BA fight itself is clientside so outside of some occasional dodgy things in the fight it more or less doesn’t matter what region you’re from. Showdown you can attend and get your participation medal but it is unlikely to be enjoyable as at 260+ ping you will drop every combo and even the most jank shit may as well be a true combo for you.

Anything else doesn’t matter really, you can be part of a different guild and still do everything else
