Anvil only primary is the best looter loadout since it keeps you light incase you find weapons+mods. I do a pretty similar setup but feel safer with:

Lobby's are aggressive tonight. Buddy of mine slept on the expedition requirements due to being a new dad. I'm usually in non-aggressive lobbies, but we had to fight our way out of Stella every time. We also tried Marathon and it made me appreciate the movement in ARC Raiders much more.

When will devs learn that good movement requires momentum? Every movement option in Marathon has fixed speed and distance, there is no carrying momentum in anything and the movement is already slow as fuck (which isn't that bad for a fps but still not fun).

Look at Smash. 64 and Melee both had excellent movement where every action you did had weight and momentum, when you jumped at full speed you went flying through the air. Then brawl came out and as soon as your character jumped you got hit with a floaty slow jump that gave you a 0.1x movement modifier and it sucked. People still play Melee to this day because the movement feels so good, no one plays Brawl.

"KOS is the default" part should ideally only last you up to the bare basics. The new Dam puzzle room is a great example of a failed attempt where map loot distribution is so spread out that the effort to get in is unreasonable compared to the loot contained within.
And combined with ABMM we have clinical PvE faggots that refuse to learn the game and their mechanics while crying about any addition to difficulty, and on the other hand we have PvP niggers which are too good at the game to be worried about any cooperation because loot is both plentiful and unimportant.

What the fuck are you on about? Learn what? Too good at what? Learning to off other players and positioning is one thing, but if you tell me that for PvP lobbies "loot is plentiful" Im going to laugh at you. Loot is only unimportant in PvP lobbies if you put in considerable hours each expedition.

The game needs extreme measures to halt even the CoD brained niggers from going full PvP only. You cant make any kind of content that fully stops players who are in for some blood, after that its just the same old one bad apple spoils the barrel stuff all over again.
As I said, the only "fix" for this would be a total removal of the ABMM system, and adding distinct visual markers to players with high aggression in the previous x amount of games.
