Is the banner character guaranteed if you fail the 50/50? If not then it might lead to terrible situations but the 240 Potential guarantee usually gets you to Pot5 before you have to do it twice. So around 550 USD per Pot5 character on average which is much lower than most of the other big games on the market. I don't know why it has to be so complicated when it could just be boiled down in a simpler way but it is obvious the more pulls you do the more gracious the game seems to be up until pulling for potentials where it gets a little more greedy, but still cheaper than most systems out there.
Essentially pulling for 1 copy of character = simple and easy, bad luck will even garner you more 6*s for your trouble.
Pulling for pot5 operators is moderately expensive but in comparison to other games incredibly cheap.
Pulling for weapons seems the worst with pic related being your chances at an early pull, and 8 times to go to pity seeming overly expensive with the current amount of Arsenal tickets given.
Pot5 weapons by comparison are the most expensive thing to pursue in the game, and give much more damage. A pot 5 weapon will run you 95,040 Arsenal tickets or close to 800 dollars US if you get unlucky, and you will.

I found that it was much harder to keep track of things when you're only missing a handful of items which is why I opted to go for this strat
It was like finding a needle in a haystack

I honestly find the lack of protection from losing the urpate gamble to be much worse on arsenal banner due to it being a 1/4. I got 4 off-rate weapons before finally getting Yvonne's weapon at 80. The rate-up is higher (4%) but getting spooked that many times feels so bad.

game is so out of content that people are dickmeasuring how many notes they gathered

That could've been solved by allowing you to convert oroberyl to arsenal tickets at a generous rate. Instead you can't do it at all and roughly the same amount of the orange currency gives either a character 10-pull (which gives arsenal tickets when used) so your options for "topping up" the last bit you need doesn't feel great, never mind going from 0.

in my experience with Arknights as an Amerifat, the Chinese, like the Japanese, love the cool shit about America and evangelize all the pop culture stuff that they like. But unlike the Japanese, Chinese people are very blunt about pointing problems of our society out and their opinions on how we can fix them. It's usually just, "You Americans do X thing wrong. You should be like China and do this way, China #1".

Columbia (America, in Arknights), is portrayed pretty well as far as a depiction goes, but the writers make sure to bring attention to its faults

So far for every sig I have I had to go all the way to pity (80 pulls)
Laev's, Gilberta's, Pog's and now Yvonne
Meanwhile I had pretty good luck on the character gacha
