Last Titan is going to remove Horde/Alliance entirely, and also remove magic being anything but a tool (i.e. no mortality to light or dark).

They should have made so that factions represent affinity between different nations, but player characters can still be friendly to nations from the other nations if they do the work (building reputation). That way players could choose to be militant members of their faction, neutral players that do not partake in the conflict or outright defect to other faction.

The Scarlet Crusade has only worked well whenever they're written as the villains for the Forsaken and by extension of the Horde to kill. They've always been a cartoonishly evil faction of Paladins and that was the whole point, it gave the cartoonishly evil Forsaken something to mindlessly murder with glee without having to ask any big questions about morals and stuff.
Unfortunately, like every plot beat as time goes on, as soon as they became something for the Alliance to also interact with, the entire faction lost that point. Now they're the definition of cockroaches that always somehow come back, attacking both the Alliance and Horde for shits and giggles while keeping their we're the "good guys" attitude going forward. But you've got Alliance players constantly asking why am I killing them, I should be helping them because I wanna murder hobo the horde too. Deus vult, deus vult. Make Lordaeron Human again.

The Scarlets should've always been kept away from the Alliance and making them interact with the Alliance, like many factions in this game, has damaged what they once meant and represented.
