They nerfed her and Cassius at the start of season 2. Again, it was to stop an infinite combo. Tressa used to have an Epiphany on Shadow Reload that made daggers every time a skill healed you, and Cassius' Triple Zero quest reward card would heal after you used three cost-0 cards. So with a couple dupes, you'd heal, get three daggers, spend the daggers, get a free heal (which also gained scaling damage and increased your morale every time it went off), get three more daggers, etc. Agony also didn't have a cap (it's set at 20 now). But Tressa got some good QoL changes post-nerf. Advanced Shadow Daggers used to cost 1, her regular daggers are stronger now, she got an Epi on Cursed Gouge to manually trigger her Agony stacks, some good shit. Meanwhile Cassius didn't really get anything out of it.

Right now I don't think we have to worry about more nerfs in the near future. There's nothing AS accidentally oppressive as that combo right now and the devs' messaging at the time was a lot of "Damn guys, we don't want to have to do this, but these dudes are actively ruining the game." We'll have to see. People who invested in those characters did have the ability to reset them to level 1 and refund all their mats though. I refunded Cassius and invested in Orlea, myself.

Had to use a flash on the growing creature because it didn't epi and will of light came in the final fight so I couldn't remove it. At least my orlea has retain from the dupe so it won't clog my deck.

Finally hit level 35 and unlocked the event. What should my 2nd team be here if my 1st is Tiph/Nine/Veronica? Chizuru is a recent addition so I have yet to research her kit.

The tier lists are legit. Mika won't let you down. If you're into yiffing, Hugo's a solid pick but he requires a partner cause he's a sub-dps. Beryl can do some impressive nonsense with her retain deck. Yuki is severely underrated in terms of AoE clearing and farming. Just not particularly great for bossing. Dunno really about Chizuru. Used her for a little while. Wasn't impressed.

Chizuru was recently buffed and she's very solid now. Just keep in mind that her gimmick blocks AP gain, so you can't use her with Mika or Tiph. But she's great with Rei and Hugo/Selena.
