I think it's a mistake not to do at least 1 more season of DLC for RT if this one sells.Because RT is MUCH more flexible than Dark Heresy.
RT is set in the Koronus Expanse with a ton of stuff in it from xenos to human factions to official RPG material that is more varried than Dark Heresy. Dark Heresy is on one planet mostly (iirc you visit another one for a short time in story)
In Dark Heresy you are mostly limited to gangs and cults being the enemy unless you throw in xenos that can pop in without distrupting the main story too much which in this case are mostly Eldar and Tau infiltrators. While in RT you can pretty much throw in almost anything

How difficult is it really to play a sorcerer first instead of a mage in bg1 and 2? Played sorcerers in other games before.

I need some tips to make it through Fallout 2, because I'm kind of struggling at the moment.
It seems like there's barely any way to make money, and every halfway decent weapon or armor costs way too much to be useful.
I left Vault city a little bit ago, made it past the rescue quest at vault 15, and made it to Shady Sands (but a city now). After I exhausted enough dialogue for my liking, I went west hoping to find Vault 13 since I played the previous game. Surprise surprise, it's not there, and I'm out of leads.
The game gave me a bunch of other locations, but no indication of which one should be my next target. I still don't have any armor, but at least I've got a desert eagle from the suicide cuck. sucks about whatever he blew up because the wizard of oz reference died trying to fix it, and I was already half way across the block by the time that happened.
It feels weird to say since the first game also kind of had a warped sense of balance when it comes to combat and dialogue, but I feel like this game is even worse in that aspect. It's just all dialogue, and combat usually doesn't turn out very well if you stumble across it. I made it through the rat cave well enough and killed the talking king, but then at vault 15, all I could do against the bad guys inside was instantly take 141 damage at level 5. (tried sneaking)
The writing and quest design feel kind of mixed besides. I'm starting to get a smell for Avelonne's writing style after finishing New Vegas, and Planescape Torment. Not sure what I'm misattributing to him, but every attempt at humor just makes me wish for a nuclear winter. And the writing isn't as deep or intriguing as I think it's trying to be.
It took kind of a while for Fallout 1 to catch me, so I'm being patient, but I'm about six hours in and still struggling to get a foothold. I get the idea of not feeling confident and comfortable in the wasteland, but I'm just trying to figure out what the game wants from me so I can meet it on it's level.
