First thing I did was to get on boat for jade fish. Played human tower several times. There was a man singing live in voice chat and he was pretty good. Asked guildmates to duo pose with me. Hung out in co-op world for guild quest. Finished guild deliveries. Bought season shop stuff. Gambled Inner Ways boxes. Did GHR and HR with guildmates and managed to get to top 500. Gambled gear boxes and managed to upgrade my helm with dual crit rate. Queued 1v1 arena 10 times. Helped a guild apprentice with ST. Played pitch pot. Guildmates held a photo event so we took some funny photos. Opened Youtube and watched Velocity vs Mutiny (interesting 20-man attack team) and Abaddon vs BLKrose (8 healers on defense).

Then I opened /wwmg/ and for some reason a retard is seething.

1. They don't need to engage, like you said.
Against 90% of weapons they can just hit you once with bow and they'll wait out the rest.
2. If you try to attack, they have spear divine counter which is still disgusting, Q which has fortitude on first frame, R which also has fortitude frame one. Getting caught by a single pixel once is a guaranteed oneshot combo for them. If you try to block you're gambling with ping against someone whose finger is already on the defense break button.
3. They can still engage with cloud step into drop into Q.
They can also literally just run at you. That's it, that's all they need to do. Run in your face and press Q. You can't engage back because they'll just press Q the second they see you turn around and if you keep running they'll drain your endurance until you can't dodge or block/parry at all. Your only counter to them running at your face is using a tenacity attack (if you even have one) or pray you have enough vitality for poet.

yea when im coaching strat+nspear users, first thing ill tell them is to try to win w.o using stun as a catch, but as a combo extender. Improves your neutral on strat a ton. Afterwards you can just learn how to fraudmax and force a stun catch off a tenacity or dodge read.

1. Demon mode requires a full combo to even charge up. If you never let them charge it, they can never use it.
2. Demon mode is the easiest thing to avoid if cast in neutral. Literally just running or jumping will leave them useless, or parry.
3. Demon mode requires full Q charge to even be useable because it drops mid m1 combo and if you just press parry their entire qi bar gets eviscerated
4. You can literally just trade into demon mode with fire and poet and come out miles on top in damage
5. The only time demon mode can be cast with any consistency is if you're already mid combo, waste one Q to knock you up with free morph which is insanely ping dependent and even on 0 ping it's rng, and then they frame perfect parry > R into light attack to catch again which is also ping dependent and then either use all their Qs to keep a measly 5 second long combo going or do the repeated frame perfect input first light attack technique which if they've mastered they frankly deserve to win (oh and that one is also ping dependent).

Twiblades has exactly ZERO tenacity on ANY of their moves except for five seconds when they get to go gorilla mode. Weapons like HQ and strat, meanwhile, have tenacity on half their kit.
If you're losing hard enough for demon mode to be a factor you deserve to eat shit if they activate it, and in most cases it'll actually help YOU instead since unless you're living right next to the server demon mode just leaves you more vulnerable than playing without it.
Even curser gets full parried 2/3 of his demon modes against shitters.

I'm not going to argue anymore so draw whatever conclusion you'd like, but here's my conclusion.
Are twinblade ropedart strong? Yes, absolutely.
Are they stronger/st than nameless/umbra. No, not at all.
If a weapon is unusable because of ping issues or a high skill ceiling it should never be called meta.
Come back to me when averse (#1 low ping merchant) starts playing tb rope instead of actual meta.
