Seeing how early they're pivoting into "limited preset teams" bullshit with Tangtang feels discouraging to play. I was hoping that team building gonna be more flexible akin to og Arknights, and most characters so far don't really feel that restrictive. But Tangtang being a very convenient fix for all Yvonne's issues screams cashgrab for me. Especially when she's being released directly after her, and all F2P Yvonne's teams feels wonky af to play in comparison to other DPSes.

I really don't mind Endfield's gacha system that much, even with its various traps to push more FOMO at players(time limited ticket). But "everyone is limited" system is the cancer of the industry and it's really sad to see another good game destroyed by it. Especially considering Arknights roots of Endifeld, which was more about horizontal investment and flexibility about tackling the challenge.

My only peeve with Cryo has been that there is no solid 4th slotter for either LR or Yvonne. Tang Tang has been literally tailormade for that slot, vulnerable and cryo apply is exactly what both teams needed.

Just checked the wiki.
Genshin had 35 post-release 4* characters. I counted, and 15 of them had at least some presence in meta at some point in time.
So it's still a good idea to release lower ranked characters in Endfield, some of them will find the place in meta teams and most importantly in the HEARTS of the players.

I cant wait for the endmin to get his big level up,
once the enemies start acting up hes gonna craft himself some sick assault rifle and body armor, cant wait!
hen, in 4 years he will make himself a mech and just blast everything with rockets and a minigun.
This will take an entire patch worth of AIC rebuilding and optimizing.
Also there will be a questline with Andre and Yvonne for designing the different parts of the mech.
