If you are talking about shadowverse 2 worlds beyond, the economy is pretty kind for f2p and battlepass dolphins. The problem is the absolute dogshit new player experience where you get to eat shit for 1-2 months before you finally get some solid footing. A huge source of "vials" comes from dismantling legendary cards. In worlds beyond you are not permitted to vial cards until after you first own a playset. So you need to play for a month or two before RNG is kind enough to give you enough dupes to deconstruct into vials to craft the cards that you actually want to use. The current meta is still in flux, but milteo abyss is pretty competitive right now despite only running 5-6 leggos. That might be a good starting point for a newfag.

Shadowverse 1 is more newbie friendly. You can vial fucking anything, so you can go nuclear on every card in your collection that you pull from unwanted crafts to help bootstrap your first breadwinner deck.

Fan is the reason the deck works.

There are games where I do 20 damage to my opponent only with Otohime and end the game with no cards in hand. It allows you to start applying damage several turns earlier even if you get full cleared every turn and gives you a ward so you don't need to worry as much about keeping their board inline.

Standard Intimidate is often too slow in this meta putting damage to face as and Erntz/Genesis pair poorly into this meta unless you get get a god hand. Also, certain decks will punish you if you ramp too hard.

don't get me wrong, tempo wasn't really a super involved deck but it had fun lines with roach and fairy buffing and last set with the new draw card. I liked milteo a lot last set, just felt it was a bit limited, and the new last words card it got helped a lot, so I've been enjoying that a bunch
also I did play roach for sets 1 2 and 3... I just swapped to tempo starting in set 4 since I like the playstyle of it more. milteo kinda scratches that itch too, just its a buncha spooky ghosts instead of a buncha cute fairies.
