There's huge rank inflation but looking at the GoD ranks is dumb. The highest rank reached before the patch IIRC was GOD5, and it goes all the way up to GOD8.
Tekken's ranked system makes zero sense because at sub 50% winrate you will statistically climb up to Tekken King which is the 20th rank, so every rank before that basically means fucking nothing except that you haven't played enough games.
But simultaneously making it so GOD is impossible to climb makes no fucking sense. They had to add the GOD ranks precisely because they were lacking granularity since the majority of the playerbase is all between Tekken King and GOD ranks. There are 70 GOD6 players in the whole world, the highest rank still hasn't been reached. This means GOD0 doesn't mean much but in reality it's just a reshuffling of the playerbase, you just have to relearn what every rank roughly means.
Of course it would've been a better idea to make the ranks before purple matter something but then people would get sad so they inflate the ranks instead. But the rank just represents a percentile, there's nothing that says GOD has to be top .5% of the playerbase.

This guy is considered like THE authority in the English speaking fanbase and yet you will watch his stream and say shit like "I'm getting knowledge checked by Lili" or "I don't even know what Azucena's ws2 looks like". Kazuya is a rotten character. Access to +frames oB, cd1+2, braindead loop offense and oki. (iws3 for a nice wall splat, iws2 for a risky read, df2 and the no homing but is homing db4, and electrics etc. etc.)
Btw, step electric can be thrown at random and will hit, electrics are not steppable and barely whiff punishable, they will clip you and you're supposed to nod and have respect for these assholes because they do just frames. It's not fucking hard.

We should also mention that there is OF COURSE a way to fuck up people who react to Kaz's d1+2 if they ever did (no one does really except pro players). Of course, because that would be too easy.
He can do the move, and CANCEL the animation so when you duck? Kaz can do iws1+2. So if they tried anything, they get CH for a follow up as well.
Also, because df2 and iws2 are so similar, when a Kaz does ws2 they rarely get punished by a launch. Ahaha. Nice privilege!

Well, I learned a bit about her but I refuse to learn more simply because she's too rare. When I see her I just find a new match. She's the same issue as eddy.. super rare, horribly complex character.. So I just don't fight em and all is good. Something like claudio or leo are very easy to learn and I know how to fight em even if they are rare.. but I'm not wasting my time on these nignog characters.
