Blankart is a new client that will soon replace neptune, loaded with even more optimizations and features pulled down from Ring Racers, while still retaining Sonic Kart's original gameplay.
Blankart is IN DEVELOPMENT as of this post. Do not use the Blankart client to connect to the main server, only the test server below. Check replies to this post for client updates.
Remember to put the client on top of a FRESH Kart 1.6 install.

I thought it was just loading RRs pk3s but I find missing things or I crash it

Apparently my complicated demands of this game to do things like "let players add to a shared number" is too much for this game to handle.
I've updated the goal script again to try to simplify the system, but if you run into issues like your shown goal progress not matching up with other people's or a "completed" goal not actually executing it's command, you'll have to leave and rejoin the server. It's the only way to force your client to get the progress from the server, I can't manually force it.
Also don't get hit by an SPB while tumbling is on. Seriously, don't do it.

Your progression has been saved. One time purchases have been removed as goals because they were already completed, and levels gained on other goals have been stored.
Except the mod count, that's back to default. If you want to hurt yourselves again, that's all on you.

1.3 was the last update before KK pivoted to working on 2.0/Ring Racers
1.4-1.6 was them going and backporting some features like hole punching from their time working on RR, with 1.5 and 1.6 being mostly bugfixing.
2.0/RR is in essence a giant redesign/modpack that veered so far away from srb2k's core gameplay they rebranded completely.

It is the LAST DAY of april fools on the server.
With the upper class now split into two factions, the mod lovers and the mod haters, the kick Onyo goal has been replaced with a reset mod count goal.
Inflation is on the rise, and the money printer is destroying all life as we know it. Min mods, max mods, coin income, and mod reset goals now increase their target amounts every time they are met.
The donation system has been rewritten to be more net safe and totally 100% workingha ha
The darkness will no longer spam red rings and rape your client to death.

Is this the biggest SRB2 Kart community? I checked out ring racer servers over the weekend and even they had like less than 8 players consecutively.
Are there any other groups like this that use Neptune or whatever with consistent massive private servers?

RENDERING CHANGES
Updated OpenGL's map preprocessor to reduce map geometry visual errors (especially UDMF).
Added OpenGL support for visual portals.
Refactored and split OpenGL rendering code.
Tweaked OpenGL's water ripple shader.
Both Software and OpenGL now use affine rendering for faster/smoother sprite scaling and rotation (deprecating "rotsprite").
Added console variables for affine rendering:
fakerollangle: Limits affine rotations to the 72 angles formerly used by rotsprites.
affinemosaic: Applies a mosaic filter for a "pixel perfect" look (Software only).
affineprescale: Toggles pre-scaling sprites before rotation (off by default).
Added rendering flags:
RF_NOAFFINE: Disables/prevents affine rendering for the given sprite, making it use standard/rotsprite rendering; does not work on players.
RF_AFFINEPRESCALE: Forces the given sprite to always pre-scale affines.
NEW FEATURES
Added rouletteonplayerboxtrans to adjust roulette border visibility when the player-tracking HUD (rouletteonplayer) is active.
Added motion sensor and tilt-based steering support. (I'm Using Tilt Controls!)

I also downloaded all files and addons while connecting to the server.
all I did was install a clean SRB2K version 1.6 and then I pasted whatever was in the zip file into the folder.
for some reason I get stuck on this screen. I feel so retarded.

StatTracker is updated for Blankart so it actually saves now. It also now tracks yourallegedlyunique player ID, so you can swap your name around and your player record follows you.
Hitfeed should now also show hits for the new items.
