I will say seems the rumor about a Syukou Akanaru character getting an Alt had weight to it. Just wasn't expecting it to be Gunzo was hoping for Azazel or Marchosias. Still as always with every new Character Banner I have questions but hopefully in time I will get answers. Anyway I wish everyone the best of luck if you Summon on the Banner!

The briefly touch on the release of Chapter 16 Part 2 and goals of the game.

Although strictly speaking that only increases their ultimate damage if Character, and stat sticking if AR card (weapon).
If you're talking about characters you need the seed items for boosting the Attack and HP of a character to +1000, and then blossom items to +2000.

My experience is that you don't really need to raise ultimate damage if you have enough buffs from putting together a good team, so getting more copies of a character (except for the free event ones) has never been a priority for me, that said get Leannan Sidhe with one of the 4* tickets, she's still one of the strongest damage supports in the game once you have her fully leveled and skill 100, between her and the guild affiliation mechanic you can make pretty much anyone usable.80j8g

In addition to what the other anons said, AR dupes also improve their proc chances and effects. The Moritaka and Horkeu Kamui one in the shop, for instance, gives a 10% coin bonus if you only got it once, but 15% if you got 5 additional copies.
IIRC buffs from CS skills are also affected by unit dupes but I don't remember it being that significant. Can't check the exact numbers with the wiki down.

LIFEWONDERS YOU FUCKING BASTARDS! CONGRATULATIONS YOU FUCKING DID IT YOU GOT ME TO BREAK! You almost got me with Ch.8 you really almost got me with Shennong in Ch.10 but this chapter was the one to do it. I cried like I did when I finished To The Moon, Xenoblade Chronicles 1,2, and 3 and that is saying something. I really pushed through reading the last 12 parts I had left as today makes one year since I started reading everything again.

There was a monologue about how your world opens up like after graduating and if you were still yourself and possibly contemplate what you were even doing during those days. Shiro and Kengo meet Tuaring in an underwater place known as the Collective Consciousness. Marduk and Teda can push the rain back due to being incarnations of the sun. Yorimoto recalls how this is like a Loop where there was no going back. Israfil says everyone in Tokyo is endlessly wandering and wants to end it but Jacob says people should be allowed their own path. Shinya was WITH THE INVADERS! Learn he caused Perun great pain once and Perun's Rule can grind memories down and adding others its how he made the current Volkh by adding Kamui for use of his Rule and Perun's own ego so Volkh will be loyal to him. He also has a Plate Mail SA that Shinya was suppose to have. He used his Rule in Shinya but Taromaitai and Kalki shield him but are under hos control now. Takaminakata debuts and fights Ifrit. Toji and Licht are working together as Toji's Barrier's protect him from the rain. Licht says the Tycoons seem to out of the Game now and Takemina might be taking orders from someone and its Daikoku/Okuninushi as he swore locality to him back in their HW. Game Masters and Entertainers who are meant to stop things that can stop the Game can hide their identities and falsify Guilds they're in as those are public as well as when two Guild form an Alliance. Leannan was sent as a mole to the Creators to find info.

Sanat's Rule lets him connect directly to others memoires it was thought he came from space to show people the right path towards evolution. Alice is back. Akiha Gongen also serves Okuninushi. But Yoshito and Sanat attack the Gurus and Alice, Jamba and Leann show up. Sanat tells Leann he has now excuses or his actions but she doesn't buy it. Yoshito uses his Rule on Alice and Jamba and Sanat takes Leann. Christine talks with Curren whose trying to unlock her Critical Memory Storage Unit. Christine asks if she can take Alice's role on the Main Stage as Alice's actions wont let her be on stage anymore. Curren doesn't care only thinking how observers should be like Mononobe who did what he was suppose to just observe. Tanetomo and Yasuyori talk about Wakan and how Tane thinks Wakan doesn't consider the rain to be a form of attack on those he loves. Learn Yorimoto exiled his brother and fears the unknown. Isaac says the CC is a data sea under Tokyo's Rainbow Bridge cable network and we see Alice and Jamba fall into the CC. Wakan and Tangaroa had been filed down their individuality and augmented-

He speaks like Echo does it was kinda cute when Echo did it but she also had a reason why. But not the biggest fan but please don't be evil Bigfoot. in the CC we can lose our sense of self easily Tuar says we aren't players in the Game only the WR's are the players as the rules are for them not us and the Game is just a series of tragic events and even the observers like Bertro break down. He asks us if we know why the Loops happen Ryota says its due to always getting to a point where no one can win and he says thats an expected answer. He asks if all the past Loop versions of us are actually us and if so would we honor debuts or promises we made before to those we may not remember (really makes you think about it) He explains the Swampman experiment where a man died but as he fell in a swamp lighting struck and a man that was identical to him emerged and lives his life and asks if the Swampman is the same as the man who died. They really kept going over this part a lot. Volkh attacks Bigfoot Tada and Kotaro. Tada fights even though they're out numbered due to his loyalty to us. Ulaan is a World Pillar and is hiding from Temujin even changed his name. Temujin mentions Gesir Bogdo. Bigfoot is a shaman who can use part of Wakan's Rule and takes Tada and Kotaro to safety and tells them Wakan is different and can't forgive him. Him and Babe Bunyun are working together and Babe is like Volkh and Bigfoot asks them to end Wakan. Okuni ruled in his HW and was seemingly kind and loved and Takamina wonders if thats the case why did Amaterasu usurp Okuni.

We start to lose ourselves in the CC and have tons more memories flood in even more than what Aza showed us. A voice tells us the human mind cant hold that much data and physical vessels must be shed and how the WR's all see things differently and is part of the endless conflict and are shown happy and sad memories of the WR's. We meet Isaac he says the standstill in the Game is due to everyone forgetting how to progress. (I guess if things start over then you dont need to worry about the long term) Toji confronts Takamina and says even if he cant understand his motives that doesn't mean they have to be enemies. Tuar says everything would be better if everyone was like Ryota but he says no because at time he didn't even want to be himself and asks Tuar if this is what he truly wants. Enigma's clones are gone he and Tindalos are protecting Akihabra. We learn about Tuar's friend Chris who died young and Tuar went through a chemical imbalance during that time and wants to use tech to see Chris again and Isaac achieved what he wanted to do. Tuar fights Ryota after he asked if he's projecting chris on Isaac. The Oceanic Realm could be called Mu from the Hero Ra Mu. The System of Ra Mu is to collect memories from the waters of the world and can hold all the memories of all Loops with room to spare (This is like Aegir used memories in the water and how Ran became one with the ocean. I don't think they thought that far ahead though. So Ra Mu is an Exception from us and Tang (but how the Exception territory happened when Wakan and Tang clashed not us) he has a mask over his face and says because he needs no face for you already wear it. (what does that mean and also an Exception that's coherent that's new...I think.) Ra Mu collects memories from the abyss and thats why he's an Exception and is almost bursting with our memories alone gives them back to us and we get paralyzed with info overload. Also there's another Exception on Ra Mu's neck/face

it's the one from our clash with Wakan (again how). BUT IT'S FUCKING LEVIATHAN?! HOW?! He cant be in Tokyo due to Typhon and is Levi even the same Levi Ziz Behemonth know. They do go over doppelgangers like Seth and Bael. Gandharva says Vayu was in each world sometimes a person, demon, etc but their Rule was always the same in all worlds it's like Taishakuten he's a doppel of a Thunder God called Indra. But I still cant wrap my head around Levi I guess he's from the Great Spirit and not Eden and different Role too I guess. Volhkh and Kamui talk as they watch from the "fake" Volkh and the real Volkh was like Kamui who send children to their deaths and didnt question it. It was over 7,000 children btw. Ahki is helping the Invader but stops them form attacking kids and almost gets killed but Ulaan saves him but says he should have died as he disobey Okuni. (Akhi the man you served has fallen in more ways than one.) Tuar is surprised Ryota is still alive and see Fisher King before Ulaan saves us and him. and Ulaan tells us to grab a good handfull despite the situation. All the ravens that show up are Isaacs familiars and how he can see Tokyo. We get funneled to Masa and Yoshi who mentioned he loved Mori (not specified if its romantic) Tada get dragged into the CC and see's memories of Shino and tries to get out then Ulaan saves him and Tada now has a sword like Shino's...I'll be honest that was so anti climatic that's how he got his new alt? Anyway Breke was nearby during that. Curren mentions Mononobe's System of Familiars they show Meph and Lil' Sal and how he reached his limit and cant read his memories. And how we are based on Olympus's System and so that's why people always love us. Shinya was friends with us in a past Loop bonding over that. Shinya gets a pep talk from Ulaan and joins the fight again. Christine is causing chaos disguised as us and Meph wonders about how direct her involvement is now. Shinya can use Zeus' Rule only-

Get info about Ryota's Chalice and it's true purpose it collect things lost by people and the Saint who used their blood to fill it and take peoples sins (thanks jesus) We jump in Ra Mu's mouth see Tang and Wakan fighting. Perun abandons the Isaac plan Yoshi almost disobeys him as the revolution must happen but Takamina takes the fall so the Invaders don't fall apart. Israfil talks with Zab?! They are together yet separate and cant see the other's memories and the Rule Makers where behind this (When did they do it Zab left for his HW) Yasu talks to Masa and mentions Fusehime. So Issac is actual an AI due to the digitize brain experience failing slightly as the real Isaac died before the upload could be linked back so he's now AIsaac. AIsaac talks to King Solomon/mononobe's memories and wonders why he made him. (So Solomon himself made the geniuses?) Bertro was given two familiars due to being a GM and they where Freke and Geri. Geri was implanted in his body and he made Freke into Breke. (How? Breke was already Breke when he came to Tokyo so when did that Happen?) Fight Tang and Ryota helps with Double Dragon which becomes Dragon's Supper. Also he can heal our arm like Shennong can. (wished the vocal version of Dragonborn played.) Taishakuten can reflect things back like a Wobbuffet and send Perun's Rule back and everyone gets separated from his Rule like Kamui and Volkh, even Tang and Wakan so he must have done something to them too

establish a hierarchy with Tang the All Father and he disappears. Tuar loved Chris and wanted to see him again to go back to he days before he grew up. We get Wakan lore how he was a fragment of Wakan Tanka that became a force of nature. They show the events we seen him in and this is where I started to lose it. No matter how much connection or joy he had he was always on the verge of tears when he seen us. We reach for him and a Big Bang explosion happens we see the mononobe AIsaac was talking to and get the CMSU and see Wakan in a field of flowers. I wanted to hug him but that cant establish a hierarchy so I kissed him and he starts to kiss our neck and taking his time the game even says he was thorough. Thanks game im still crying while this is happening btw. BUT THEN THE WAKAN'S GET SEPARARTED MY BOY TECHICALLY LIVES! Oh and so did Tang btw and we all get rescued by Ulaan (really an MVP I will say) Fight Isaac Tuar and then AIsaac says there are other sowing chaos. Israfil is with Michael and Kokopurr barges in mad. Babe and Bigfoot go see their boss. Ose talks with the Entertainer GM and gets shot?! Leann, Alice and Jamb are alive. Sanat left a note telling Leann to leave the Entertainers. Balor is okay somehow I thought Daikoku still had him unless I'm forgetting something. Avarga and Taurus Mask find the Wanderers Guild Q'ursha debuts and Avgara is going to break Arsalan out from the Rule Makers (So he's been trapped there since Ch9. ) Christine announced the Entertainers are no longer Oberservers and (Barong was shown) She wants the game to be more interesting after all as her master watches. God so much I cant process it funny considering the whole theme of this Chapter. but it really did feel like too much so many small plots throughout this Chapter. I'm glad Wakan seems okay I was so certain he'd leave Tokyo there was so much leading up to it. I also thought Bigfoot or Babe was going to be the real Wakan or something.

Right, that was Mugen Wakan's share of the Exception after all. Different cultures often came up with their own takes on similar deities, so that doppelganger idea makes sense, it's just that the game also has this maybe-not-so-subtle subtext of what one's "true name" or self means (clearly seen in this chapter with its Swampman paradox, but also in small things like "engraving one's name", "forged reification", Nomad vs Gully, etc) that it makes me wonder how much they intend on expanding upon this if at all.

I think I'm still a little affected I teared up listening to Dragalia Lost's credits song Words to Give since today is it's 3rd Anniversary of End of Service. But yeah I'm still invested even if the story has become more tech focused. Like at the start tech was there we use the App after all but it was kinda in the background while supernatural powers and stuff were more at the forefront. Now at this point to me it feels like the opposite and like I don't know something's been lost I guess. Again like Fuxi I cant find the words. Maybe since I've been stuck in Book 1 era for so long then reading stuff in such a short time rather than other the course of 3/4 years it feels like that change happened quicker. I'm still interested tho but I will say I've had such a feeling a dread slowly building the closer I got to this Chapter. Started with Battle of the Bells then Fluffy Nightmare when they just drop/hint he's a WR and a WP, Ch.9 when it was said his Pillar isn't connected to Nether (whatever that means), Seaside Fashionista and his SQ, New Years Sunrise talk about try to remember the happy memories no matter what happens, Summer Thunderbird's SQ. With the trend of WRs leaving Tokyo I was certain he'd leave or they just kill him off. It was like I was in front of a train and couldn't move just waiting and it changed tracks at the last second. So I think my feelings are justified he's been my best boy since the early days of 2018 after all. Which is why I want AIsaac and Perun to drown in Tokyo Bay. But now my concerns are where Arc Shennong and Mineaki are, Arsalan, how loyal is Bigfoot to the Entertainers and if Ose actually was shot

Could be. I haven't kept up with the game for as long as other players but the impression I've had over the years is that, for as much as LW tries to keep up with trends, they're usually not the quickest about it. From what little I read on Enigma2's research files, it almost felt like they were trying to remedy how the script involving regular Enigma may have sounded in the current day, with AI becoming so prevalent.
Oh, but some of the shift you mentioned could also be intentional in a different way. Like it's been hinted so far, Utopia's not only a futuristic world, but likely the future of Tokyo itself. Unless it changes, that is.

It's officially the 9th Anniversary! I've said it before but I certainly enjoyed this past year more than others even if there are things that could be better and the emotional whiplash this game has given me especially in the past two days. But it's crazy to think how different the game was nine years ago with only 33 playable characters at launch and now we have over 250 playable characters and that's not counting alts. I don't think they've ever buffed characters outside of Skill/Charge Skill Evolutions but I'm assuming you mean his new alt. I looked at his kit for the first time and was surprised it's support oriented. But when he isn't at max Charge Points he can inflict Buff Reversal on enemies he hits 90% of the time and that increases damage taken by 2.5x. So I'm guessing what happened was he hit enemies but they survived and he inflicted Buff Reversal on them then followed up with his CS on the next turn. But I'm not too certain if that on it's own is enough to deal 25k damage since Infinity Attribute only does super effective damage to Null and Divine Attribute and he has relatively low attack.

Finally after taking from time after the emotional whiplash Chapter 13 gave me and since Lifewonders hasn't translated Catoblepas' Golden Week or The Warmongers Treasure Hunt I finished Summer Pool Twilight which I'm also calling Sonic Frontiers. I enjoyed the more relaxed pace of the Event but then Lore out of nowhere happens which I found very interesting and there's a lot.

I genuinely thought I started Ch.14 by mistake somehow with Christine, Leannan, and Barong going over how what a Game is and how it's where everyone plays the Role they were given all for someone else's entertainment. Nyarlathotep poses the question if the world is a game (hmmm). But despite that intro this Event felt like it happens pretty early in a Loop with how some Ch.3/4 things were explained. The whole Event venue was made by Smoky God and that's how we get invites he literally moved parts of Tokyo to see us in this Loop they really did not try to hide any spoilers regarding Loops or WR's. We met Barong he said give him a tip he will make our stay even more exciting...I know he means money....maybe he did give us his contact info at the end tho... Met Gorozaemon as this was their debut they are with the Entertainers and Boogeyman is too (oh wonderful) We got a lot of small interactions like Dagon and Aegir getting real close to us. Arsalan and Zab which sadly Zab once again going back to square one in a Summer Event sorry Arsalan Zab will not "get down with his bad self". There was Seth who still cant swim Ganglie and Typhon using him to pick up people which Typhon felt slightly guilty of that's why he's the flirting part of flirting vs harassment surprised Ulaan wasn't there to be super harassment tho. Jormungandr and Hogen bonding was something but hitting Hogen was fun and the I'm calling the police option was very fun but I thought Hogen would say something like "Oh but I am the police how may I serve?" thankfully he took it as a threat. Oz finally got some time and poor guy pushed to socialize when Amaterasu didn't even want to and Zo I think made his first on screen/speaking debut and oh god he's worse than Ganglie and Ulaan flirting and just leaving people in 2.5 seconds. But Oz and Zo are different Transients. Zo was a fearsome lion in Olympus until Heracles bet him then he learned fear and Zeus made him into a constellation then he wondered what he'd do differently and that he would be as brave as people thought he was and was Summoned to Tokyo and met Oz. Oz's real name isn't Oz just the place where he's unsurprisingly from. Oz is like an urban legend not on the same tier of a myth and cant stand on his own. so the entertainer's Guild Master and Curren formed an Experiment to see how Oz and Zo would be like if Zo was to be a guiding force for Oz. Heracles having fun and having more of a desire to do things of his own volition was nice and getting a refresher about Hylas and even a small part of things from his point of view and how he learned about Heracles not thinking he was a hero was interesting. He wants to be a conservationist that's a fun detail but he still kinda went super focused on being his brother as he was his ideal but he snapped himself out of those thoughts and came to his realization on his own was nice. Jormungandr wasn't my favorite. He was basically Oguchi Magami but cranked up to 20 with the whole let me eat you and punch me harder every other line. But he got a lot of lore. Like it was shown in Thor's Memory he literal is Tokyo's Wall with the Role of Wall forced on him. He's Infinity Attribute due to peoples belief he is infinite and that's due to the fact he's a World Serpent that is larger than a World and seals out the Exiles Infinite also means he's not bound by the world/Game. And we can just sever his ties to the Wall/Role like it's nothing and found out he was summoned against his wishes and Loki might have had a hand in it. Oh he is the Jorm for f-kare but the one we spent time with is different and he split before going back to his HW.

Gorozaemon was more fun than I was expecting. But him with help of the Entertainers making a artificial Collided World by moving parts of Tokyo and decorating it to be like Shangri-La to where his faith is most powerful to deify the Game and the physical laws of the world to take us with him out of Tokyo was insane to read. Sadly the Game Admins had a counter for that being Jorm. The other WR's didn't seem to happy with that stunt. For gameplay?
Hell no, far from it. It has been stale for years and is 99% boring farm quests where you either kill everything on the first turn or have to stall for 3 turns. The only remotely interesting gameplay content is challenge quests, but they are time-limited and you only get about a dozen of them per year.
The only good things I can say about Housamo's gameplay is that "powercreep" moves at a glacial pace so you can do everything without pulling for shiny new units, and that you can do your weekly shit with only about 5-10 mins of play per day.

For gooning?
It doesn't contain porn like newer bara gacha like Aneidos or Woofia, but I still prefer Housamo's character designs over the competition (that includes Live a Hero despite being made by the same company). They have this unique way of adapting mythological figures into modern-day designs which make them more appealing to me.
I do think the designs have been more misses than hits for me in recent years, but when they do hit oh boy do they hit hard(Yig my beloved).

As I mentioned it is the "adapting mythological figures into modern-day designs" aspect of the designs that elevates them to me. A lot of the characters are wearing modern outfits or ones related to their professions within Tokyo, but they still have elements to their designs that link them to their origins and remind you that they are beings from another world, even when said elements are something too on the nose like flames around the character.
This dichotomy in Housamo's designs is what makes them more interesting to me than "hot guy in sexy but generic fantasy outfit", and even if a character's body/face are generic these elements help the design stand out more.

But as a reminder or for any newer players lurking who may not know but the effects of AR Cards don't scale based on the number of copies you have like you think it would it only changes if you have it's Level Cap maxed out at 100. For example if you have 5 copies of Like Spotless Ice the Coin increase will still be at 10% despite it's Level Cap being 81 you still need the 6th copy to get the Coin Increase to 15%. That said iirc and if the Wiki is right all these cards should get one more rerun in Andvari's Shop at some point if you want to get them with Rainbow Shards. In most cases one copy is enough but that 25% Exp Boost from TJBF helps make Dungeon Exp grinding slightly less of a slog.

I finally finished Akiba and Dragons! after a few interruptions this past week. Like with SPT I enjoyed the slower pace but I'm not certain which one I enjoyed more.

It was nice to see the Creators have more screen time and the relatable struggle of procrastinating final projects. I'm sure everyone's done there fair share of that I have flashbacks turning in essays at 11:49pm. Most of the Event being in a Metaverse Space being a mix of virtual and augmented reality was surprising I wasn't expecting it be a remix of VSM in a way. Sand Dragon was cute and I knew it was going to destroy itself by the end though giving it an AI chip felt like it would have against the taboos Vapula talked about. There was Shaytan recap fighting God/the Almighty and Michael how he cast away apart of himself being his 12 wings giving them to someone else. I don't recall if they said that before anywhere else but reading that here it hit me like a train. Azazel was the one who Shaytan gave his wings too wasn't he. Shaytan was called Ur-dragon. T-Antimony being a combination of Tindalos and Enigma's beliefs while being complete opposites found their answer it's crazy to think they actually could do that. Zhurong/COS lore/recap yet they didn't refer to Cthulhu by name despite being name dropped a few times by this point. Vapula also explained how Cato and Akiha's Rules still are active outside the App due to people's belief in them and the App could be just supporting emotional resonance basically magic where if both parties believe in it it can surpass reality no matter how impossible the fiction. That seems a little out of left field since only Old Ones Rules/warping ability aren't bound by App. Tuaring talking really was draining and kinda hard to follow granted I did read most of this at night/after work so that didn't help. Akiha didn't have too much probably the weakest in my opinion just mostly going over how he cherished his days with Onamuchi and how he got his Rule from him. Stuff we already knew but him really caring about Akihabara regardless of it's iteration was sweet and of course trying to understand the Creators as best he can was too.

Babe still hates being a kid. Like Oz he's not like a myth/legend due to everyone knowing him and his dad are just tall tales yet he takes pride in those tall tales. He was a servant to Wakan Tanka but was called the White Buffalo Calf by others before then. IIRC in Ch13 it was said Wakan Tanka came to Tokyo as a white buffalo calf and yes in the Great Spirit Wakan was basically a force of nature thats apart of everyone but that connection between those two through white calf description has me questioning things. It doesn't help in a flashback Christine says Babe is a mask already performing a role plus in the Event they refer to Babe and the calf as if they are separate beings. Maybe ch.14 might have some answers.

Cato was a little on the lower end for me but was good. Recap about his connection to cosplay and how it saved him and gave him an outlet. The moment with Akiha after he almost drowned and the conversation about wanting to change and be reliable was good. I can see even more a reason for the art of them together. But him wearing such a swimsuit but leave it to Arachne to make such a thing. Seriously even years later still kinda baffles me they were able to/let his Summer Alt be what it is. Also I call shenanigans how can he be built like that yet be poor when it comes to athletics.

Tindalos was just Tindalos. Apparently he can only exist in slices of time made up of perfectly straight lines and that's why he's in the internet and goes to a virtual Akihabara Academy like other Tranisents who dont have physical body. Makes me wonder about Tez maybe Penitentia Academy has something similar. He did have a body like Tez for a sec so that may come back in Story/Events after this one. Again him wanting to expose secrets while Enigma wants to protect them and the two of them just fighting was fun. Yet despite that Tindalos has difficulty exposing his own secrets which I found to be a nice layer to his character. The secret in question being that he almost certainly likes us usurpingly.

Vapula was good and him finding his "spice" was nice to experience with everyone pitching there own thought of what "spice" is. Even Itzamna helped guide him to finding his answer. Him being from Gehenna was surprising and the fact he can just know/make things from book he's read without using his Rule was cool to learn. But poor guy after really looking at his 3star art he just looks so tired all the time granted I get asked that all the time that or if I'm mad 24/7. One thing I question about him is he says a person's Rule is their identity. It's suppose to be their Role right? IIRC Maria says that in ch4 I could check but I'm a little too lazy/tired to flip through my notebook.

I liked seeing Tuaring in a different context, though. I thought having Enigma not treat him as a superior or how he'd rather get complimented over his own actions rather than "heaven-granted gifts" were nice additions to his character. But it's always all according to keikaku with him...

I think both things can be true, depending on who you ask (and before the notion that Rules and Roles are absolute gets questioned further, as I'm sure it will). This sounds like it came from Vapula earlier on, where his Rule really was kind of all he had to him. It was the source of his confidence, what let him achieve perfection, until he was able to find something beyond only that over the course of the event.

I decided to read Babe Cato and Tindalos SQ's

Babe refers to us as owner not a fan just say Summoner. Mentions a BBQ party if I had a dollar for every Transient serving/eating food based off their real animal counterpart id have three dollars. Him talking about his dad was sweet I'll admit. Call him a friend because sorry Babe I go after bulls not calves and he said someone in his heart is really happy. One who serves the one who gives himself to all. Then that's it. I need more than two lines that info was the only reason I read this SQ. But when are they going to add Paul Bunyan and will they make him a bull?

Cato wanted us to teach him how to swim which was cute. Learn if a Summoner and a Transient have a pact are in a closed off area and their perceptions of each other don't change the Transient's Rule wont affect the Summoner because of hierarchy. So this is where this was talked about I was wondering since I seen a screenshot about this last thread and wasn't in the Event. I feel like that should have been in the Event not an SQ. I'm wondering what else could have been shadow dropped in SQ's I didn't read from other Events. Makara gave us pointers on how to teach swimming also in the Event Cato and Makara have some sort of connection yet wasn't explained. We can ask how he's built like he is which he says he just toned up for cosplay and we can double down saying that's a body you don't just stumble into was so cathartic for me he then says its possibly genetics. I know its anime/bara logic but come on now. He wanted to cheer us up after what happened with the Sand Dragon which was sweet of him. The part about things never staying the same hit a little close to home. The two endings felt different compared to other SQs I've read for some reason. Tindalos has a new body using his mini Tindalosbros acting as his sensory organs and are a limited/toned down version of Tindalobro 1. Yet he can experience what it's like to get hurt like he wants to. We also get a Summoner Transient pact rundown like in Cato's. I decided to mess with him and his expressions are pretty cute I like how his ears raise and flatten in various angles. Him threatening to upload our time together would have caused chaos if he was going to go through with it and probably cant since he doesn't know how recording in Battle Zones would work. Yet he wants us to hurt him like he hurt us despite not regretting what he does as it's just who he is which I found interesting feels kinda like Ahab in way. You know I can see it when you explained it through Vapula and he did go over Rules early/mid way through the Event. Plus iirc in Ch.6? maybe Ch.8 the Otherworldly Ruler/Baron enemies were described as having power and status in their Home Worlds due to their Rule and hope to reach that state in Tokyo while clinging to their Rule as a lifeline. And for reference I did go back and check Ch4. In Path of Thorns 1 Maria says based on what she knows a Role decides the alignment of a Rule and it's derived from the identity at the root of one's soul.

That SQ in particular reminded me of the one Cthugha got during Nightglows where Cthulhu's Rending and MC+Cthugha's wishes allowed us to survive one of his explosions completely unscathed.

Probably contrary to popular belief I haven't read Housamo doujins in long time so I don't know if they're good. I can't remember but there was an Arsalan one by Ross, Gomtang did one of Typhon and some called SUMMONS GALLERY it's like a character collection, Xigma did a few called Afterschool Pillow Talkers which was like SG. I know of two Shennong ones by Gumiten/ccgumi10 as they posted parts on their Twitter and are recent-ish. There's also a Shennong one by a bunch of artists even Noku did some art for it so its not 100% NSFW. I'd love to read that one but that might be a pipedream since I cant even remember the name of it I think it's cover was red and Shennong was holding flowers or something.

I did Jagganath's special quest after the event, it was pretty nice. He has this little fighting ring event to show off to you, and then you meet him backstage after he mercilessly downs his opponent who was flirting with you earlier. He goes to shower and you steal his towel to sniff it, leading him to tease you with punishment. Then the day after, he goes missing for a little bit before turning up at the night festival with other police students. You pull a float and then play with rainbow colored powder and he paints your face to match his red markings, and then he hands you a present of silver dog tags that are like his as a thank you for being his buddy when everyone else at the precinct also wants to be your friend, with you promising that one day they'll be best buddies. Then it fades to black.
Hope he gets a nice alt in the future :)

Welp my second husband got his 2nd alt feels so out of left field I'm too tired to comprehend but I have almost have 4 Sparks so this is what I've been saving for. The horse guy is Glashtyn so iirc all of us were wrong about his name/who he was. He's drawn by Zoyu/wuedti not Noku and he's Water Attribute not Fire but apparently Glashtyn in Folklore is sometimes a water horse or water bull. Turns out we already have skills and everything for the upcoming banner on the wiki and I read Takemaru and Glashtyn's Research Files because I couldn't help myself and both of them together really feels like it could be for a Valentines Event especially Takemaru's so I feel slightly slighted so thanks Lifewonders. But I have some hope that they do Takemaru justice after his Christmas alt felt lacking unless the only new/interesting info for this alt is also just in his Research File. His kit feels like he's part Valentine Krampus, Bigfoot, and his other two 5star versions so that's something. Glashtyn feels kinda like what a new age Tanngrisnir could be.

Also the translation for last years New Year's Event is already available it's officially called Shining New Year in English rather than First Shrine Visit with Daddy Snake.

That's a fair assumption considering how long it can take to save. But I'm not a whale not sure if there's a name for it but I did spend money on a few packs during Bigfoot's debut Banner. I went back to hoarding everything until eventually I realized I still had 5 Paid Stones from that so I spent enough to get to 25 Paid Stones to get rid of them on the one time Paid Stone Banner with Amaterasu and Willie Wildcat last year. But since then I've just horded everything waiting for my favorites like I do with all the other Gacha games I play. Also reading Chapters 11-13 and completing the Free Quests from them has given me more Transient Stones than I would have otherwise.

Hey it's nice to see a fellow Takemaru enjoyer. I get it trying and failing to get your favorites it sucks especially just trying for a 4star. If we didn't have the ability to Spark I would have used more than 100 Summons just to get Nomad's Island 4star earlier this year. Though I want to reiterate I've been saving for years I failed to get Shennong's 1st Summer alt back in 2020 and that's why I started saving only for my absolute favorites and on occasion throwing like 20 Summons at a banner like for Summer Andvari for example. But anyway if you try to Summon for Takemaru I wish you the best of luck!

Kabukicho Night Festival finally done wasn't that bad considering it was 20 parts wished I finished it sooner but it's the holidays cant be helped.

This Event made me realize that at this point there are only three Transients connected to Aaru then again it was one of the less explored Worlds in terms of lore considering it was in like 3 Events. There's a student exchange program system of course we get picked to go to Kabukicho. Shiro and Kengo notice how one sided it is which later Sandayu and Kresnik said that it's pushed by Yoritomo and the other true guilds for intel gathering feels like that will be back soon. Suzuka gets more screen time see a new Rule/aspect of her katanas being able to cut the guardians of Yomi or Hades so that's something to add along with her Rule of Revelation. My biggest thing is did this Event basically retcon/rewrite most/all of Aaru's lore? I don't have my older notebooks with me right now and my current one only goes back to Episode 3 of ch.13 so can't I look back right now. At the end we learn the real Seth was working with Horus to be exiled from Aaru under the lie that he was the serpent Apophis unless he actually was I'll be real that was unclear to me. Also could you call that being exiled? But iirc Seth was falsely accused of murdering the current pharaoh then exiled as Ash voted against him and the whole thing was Horus's family pulling the strings. Sphinx said Seth was a bad guy that killed Horus's father yet that wasn't brought back up again. I'm not that versed in real Egypt Myth so dont know how faithful most of this is. You'd think me being fixated on Seth/Ash/Bael for a while id remember more but I've crammed 6 years of lore in little over a year its a lot to remember. Aaru also has a System of reincarnation you're physically the same without memories but if you're judged guilty even once you're sent to Duat for eternity. While Seth was in charge your soul would've been devoured by Apophis instead.

Sandayu being paid by Smoky God again. Him and Kresnik together again was fun and their use of his ability to dismember himself to fool one of the Sphinxes was cool and I figured that's where they were going with it. It was interesting to get more info on his betrayal by Goemon. He wasn't mad at the betrayal but its terrible execution. Id like to see him Goemon and Jiraiya interact. But I feel like I should be concerned when he thinks Sphinx would be a great fit for the Agents.

Ellie was bitten by the Ancestor and wonders why she chose her. I think this is the first mention of the Ancestor by name. Ellie does care about people even if she doesn't want to lowered to their level. Her kicking down the door to find Kres and Sanda in a tickle fight was funny and kinda a power move since she did that in a dress. But her interactions with Sphinx at first I though oh she's going to be OMG so cute. But then the whole sit on her lap and look up with quivering eyes/voice or the defiant attitude and how she can work with it happened. After finishing the Event I read all her Research Files in game and people who know her are suspicious of her near their kids and she was escorted from Kabukicho's Elementary department. Do we need to call this Tokyo's version of Chris Hansen?

Tsukuyomi showing up in an over the top why seems fitting and at least in this Event he's a 3rd year at Shinjuku. He can see the future kinda. His Rule allows him to take paths other have already taken and the Rule's vessel is a Magatama. Now I cant check but I thought his SA or I guess he one of them was a champagne tower? I feel like that was in Ch.10 or Thor's Memories and something about it being incomplete. He can use shadows to make weapons or clothes. I feel like Arachne would love to meet him even if her use of shadows is metaphorical. The game draws attention to the sword he uses looks like ours and his swordplay is identical but that's all it goes into. Of course he's

the brother of Amaterasu and Susanoo which they use MC3 for him were they foreshadowing so far in advance I wonder. He wanted to give Susanoo I place he could live since he was unable to walk in the suns light and took his place ruling the land of the dead. Kresnik was the star of the Event for me he's connected to the Ancestor and we get the reveal of Kudlak. Recap his experience in the PSD, how there is no final sacrifice as he kept killing and wished to stop but if he did what would have been the meaning of those deaths. How he got through to the students as he tells them this and how it can be scary when something outside your group/world can be but how even with like minded people grouping together any slight variation of your thinking can cause the group to collapse from the inside turning on each other. It was such a highlight for me. Then towards the end he transforms into something not human I thought oh a werewolf maybe....Nope he turned into a white horse. Then I had the biggest oh my God moment because that's why he's going to be relevant in the upcoming New Year's Event. How do I keep doing this where I read an Event/MS Ch. and a character in it gets featured in something new in like 2.5 seconds? It happened with Shino, Shennong, Azathoth, Kres and Sanda with this rerun while I was reading Ch.12 and now Kres again.

Sphinx was good. Him not being from Aaru but another world was cool because I did know Sphinxes aren't exclusive to Egypt Myth. He really is basically a kid who doesn't want to be alone after overseeing Aaru reincarnation cycle and being cast out of his HW. He doesn't even eat souls like other Sphinxes. It was relatable to want to remember the good times but staying in those memories isn't healthy. Sphinx and Abu/Abul (name was slightly inconsistent I noticed) was most likely thinking Ellie was Cleopatra. The riddle at the end was sweet.

Yeah, they were implying the two were the same person. This was addressed in Seth's CQ too so it's at least consistent that far back.
It's not exactly accurate to their source but LW probably conflated the two as they're both Egyptian chaos deities. The other stuff with Seth killing Osiris (Horus's father) and his many other quarrels with his nephew does match up, however.

Happy New Year's Eve and all that. Takemaru proves why he's the 2nd husband and not the 1st since it took 150 Summons to get him (technically he was the 148th Summon I did a tenfold) while it took only 2 Lil' Salomon Tickets to get Shennong's 2nd alt. I got a copy of 5star Akiha Gongen at 82 Summons as a 4star animation spook but it took 113 Summons to get 4star Aegipan. Not the best but that's Gacha and I rather have it happen to me than someone else. Hopefully everyone else had better luck.

And of course I read Kresnik, Tsukuyomi, and Sphinx SQ would have read them all but I'm tired hopefully Ellie and Sandayu's didn't have anything of note.

Kres recaps his kind are only related to vampires. Wears glasses because he sees things he really doesnt need to. He's used to doing dirty work no one wants to do and we have some grape juice after cleaning up and look at the moon in the dawn as he recalls the Event. We see his scars he tries to hide so the students dont have to think about life that gave him those scars. Says to keep are pact a secret and at the end he turns into his horse form takes us away galloping over rooftops because why not. It was fine wished their was more but then again felt like he had more story in the Event than the others.

Tsuku shows us around the academy on the last day of K-fest. You can tell this was translated recently I've read the word yap/yapping a lot the past three Events. We can ask his plans for the future and he plans to stay in Kabukicho. We can have him read our fortune and tells us if we can grasp the flow of fate our path will surely open but it's not the fortune that's important but our actions. He says our escape from Abu's sanctuary betrayed his prediction at the start of the Event and that sanctuary act outside the laws of the world some refer to it as zero. So that's why Sphinx's 4star is Null Attribute I thought Infinity would have made more sense due to him overseeing the reincarnation cycle

Sphinx ran an escape room blindfolds us takes us to a classroom that's actually a sanctuary and he wants to play a board game with us. Apparently he was unbeatable in Aaru yet those he played with never came back but prayed they'd overcome their trial while heading to Duat but of course when they did they were reincarnated and forgot everything. He thanks us for playing and wants everyone to play and theorizes how they'd play we try to leave and he locked the door again because he had to mess with us. I felt slightly bad for choosing the interrogation option since it said he started to cry.

And I flipped through my notes and everything else in Aaru was basically reworked from Desert Journey where Seth was only falsely accused of killing but it was nobles who did it wanting the throne and wanted Seth out of the way so he basically was immediately exiled as a result. But now from my understanding he did kill the pharaoh ruled for a bit and was Apophis Horus fought him to be the WR seemingly still with family intervention then worked with Seth to exile him from Aaru. Unless him being Apophis was fake to get exiled since its implied and not 100% confirmed.

And thanks for the luck I'll say that's what made Takemaru show up before 200 Summons. I'm kinda tempted to go to 200 to get Glashtyn because why not. At this point I highly doubt there will be 3rd alts and the alts I don't have of my favorites probably aren't going to be reran anytime soon like Tanngrisnir and Krampus.

Can't say much about Moriyasu as I haven't looked at his Personal Data on the LiveAHero Wiki and while it seems Glashtyn might not be the most stand up guy according to his Research Files it doesn't take much to be better than Equus since he's such a pathetic insufferable character. He can't do anything right he's just the equivalent of an anime girl who slips and falls into cheap fan service even when he's not relevant. Even though I don't care for a lot of AE's cast Equus is probably my least favorite due to how insufferable he is. He's part of the reason I never read the Main Story past Chapter 0 since seeing him in Events is torture enough. Granted him getting another alt and the fact I really only like three characters makes it easier to save for them even if I feel like they deserve better with how they've been treated.


On a different note finally found some New Year's Takemaru fanart and I also noticed the Red Fencer enemy in the 2nd Phase of the hardest difficulty of the Fortune collection Quest is almost certainly a reference to In with the Ogres! Carpentry of the Heart and if so I think that's neat.

I finally decided to tackle Chapter 14 Prologue/preview and it had a slower start compared to Chapter 13's which I enjoyed more since that had a lot happening at the start a bit much to process. But they already ramp things up a bit by Downfall (3).

Christine monologues about how there is no originality but says the Entertainers shall change the script as this will be their last performance in This Tokyo. Then suddenly we get stabbed by Kirito. Psych we were reliving a memory from a past Loop from the CMSU's from a room the Underground Colosseum and Shuichi and R-19 are trying to decrypt the data. We recall the meetings of Mononobe's parts in Ch11 and 13 and how we resemble someone who passed away. Learn that Shuichi and Duo escaped from the Rule Makers then an explosion happens and R-19 who has contact with Duo is told to evacuate. the others stay underground but we are back on the surface. Then the past memory plays and Kirito dismembered us and Mononobe stands before him. Kengo and Ryota get called to help elsewhere and Shiro brings up the severed arm from all the way back in Ch.2. I will say I did know about the arm coming back in the story before I think it was here and two anons talked about it either when this was dropped or officially translated. Still have no idea exactly where this is going tho. So even though the culprit was never found Mononobe went to the police to suspend the investigation of the top suspect who was Kirito. But the victim was us? as apparently it's a exact match to the DNA in our profile. (what profile? how?). Bigfoot appears and says to come to Yurakucho. Learn about Whitechapel and the new background has a red spot with drag marks so thats fun. An undercover cop gets too close to the truth and gets abducted. We meet Bigfoot and he takes us to a pool area, met Barong officially in the MS. Hogen and co talk about the officer and his arm was severed but it's his SA so if he's alive it can be reattached.

Horus is with the investigation and Nobumichi debuts (And with my track record he's going to get a Valentine alt). Hogen mentions the Entertainers are suspected of Transient trafficking. (I guess Daikoku wasn't enough.) Barguest is working odd jobs for the Entertainers. Bigfoot swimsuit comes out of nowhere and he promises he's not lying about anything he's grateful we saved Wakan. He holds our hand to his chest and we recall Wakan Infinite scene from ch13. (thanks game I needed that emotional wound tore open again.) He says he is to fulfill Wakan's duties as WR. Bigfoot there're two very big things here...aside from your big bull pecs do you mean WT Infinity? what about regular WT does he not have the ability of a WR anymore since WTI was separated? Curren Betro and AIsaac talk Curren mentions how the others plans failed and mentions someones graduation? Bertro? AIsaac? Both? She then ends the call and the animation they used jumpscared me. Is it obvious I don't do horror? After the pool we wake up Barguest tells us to be careful and Christine talks to us about faith in god/gods and how such beings must see life as a comedy and Mononobe/Solomon must have felt the same. She leaves calling Bigfoot an interloper. Bael and Horus talk about the Game and how the cases seem more involved with the Game. Horus can revive the dead with his Coffin SA you know the one with his fathers corpse in it which checks out considering the F-Kare collab. Bael talks about how every WR went into a panic when the arm in Shinjuku was found and even the WPs couldn't piece anything together Horus and Korpokkur were against the alliance between the RM and E while Ahura Amazda (name debut) was for it. Kirito is with the RMs and says hes not at fault for his past Guilds ending then suddenly Arc is finally back

Barguest reports to the Wanderers and Hermes has his Main Story debut. Q'u figures out Arc was going to charge into the RM's main Portal by themselves. Did Arc lose braincells since Ch9? learn about RMs belief system of one deity to guide them. Yuma hates he's not a therian his SA injects him with something to turn him into one. Get exposition of how there cant be one all powerful all knowing deity this world is finite but AIsaac tells Tuaring it can work if there are multiple like smaller versions. Bigfoot wants to protect us as he understands WT Infinite's feelings and says he loves us. That was cute, a little soon, and also not the time Bigfoot. Kirito hates that sentiment and says there's no such thing as love/family you can count on and wishes he could unlearn what Mononobe told him.

After a quick review of Ch.11's script again, to me it sounds more like Bathym's conversation with Mephistopheles was about Shaytan/Lucifer, Mephi was accused of taking his lord's place as a representative and all that. Also worth noting that the terms used in both occasions were different in Japanese, 御方 in Ch.11 as opposed to the transliteration used in Ch.14, オーヴァーロード.

Oh my god I spent the past hour and 30 minutes flipping through my notes, looking at the Event timeline, then going to Michael's wikiwiki page (and thankfully avoided spoilers) to double check his on screen appearances since his debut in Ch.8 through Ch.11, skimming through the archive channel and unless I missed something he does not mention/say Overlord at any point in that time frame. So unless I'm forgetting something then Mephistopheles and Bathym's conversation in Ch11 Ultimate Weapon Activated (3) is the first instance of Overlord/a Overlord being mentioned aside from Yam being called one as you have reminded me. Which I assume isn't the same as the other instances in the Main Story. I think the reason I thought Michael mentioned Overlord was in Canaan's Epilogue the game says how Michael remembers a promise related to the great flood and the voice that spoke after. "That voice, so it was said, belonged to the Creator of Light, whom the town called the Lord, who formed a covenant with the world." Maybe since Canaan and Ch.11 are just about a year apart and on the timeline they are almost right next to each other so my brain filled in the rest and that's probably how I got my wires crossed regarding Overlord.

I read Blessings and Tribulations: The Rabbit of Fortune.

It was fine slightly annoyed towards the end tho. We had an anime bump into someone while running with bread in our mouth moment choose left was Hakumen right was Smoky God. Learn about Inaba and he's...fine really not too much to work with. He deceived his shark friends, met Onamuchi, apparently made amends with the sharks who help him look for Ona. Find transient light gets summoned to Tokyo with his closest friend among the sharks. He calls us master despite us never forming a pact officially and we didn't Summon him either. Then again at this point Summoning is 90% of the time Transient has a wish get Summoned to Tokyo thanks to rainbow light/bridge without a mentioned of answering a Summoning Call by someone. Ebisu, Beten and Hotei are sharing a braincell that might be at 60% efficiency. Ebisu was from Takamagahara and went to the Land of Wa as an infant. Daikoku starting to sweat a bit because of those three was fun to see and the real one was the cringiest edgelord. learn about how Ona before becoming Okuninushi he did what he thought was right and helped those in need. Mahakala gets name dropped which I didn't remember from when I read this the 1st time which spoils a fair bit. Now my hang up is that its revealed Maha and the real Dai have the same Role and Rule so thats why real Dai cant be Summoned to Tokyo. However the real one apparently entrusted Okuni with his name, body, Role and Rule then how can Okuni be in Tokyo if its the same R&R as Maha? But they mention Maha is cut off from their R&R due to being sealed in the Planes of Nihility. Then why have the plot point of the real Dai cant be Summoned due to same R&R as Maha in the first place? But there's more as apparently Okuni can just use his old Role instead of the real Dai's Role because those can be swapped and given out I guess. This is Ch9?/Ch.10? Odin shenanigans all over again but I'm too tired to think anymore.

The 2025 Unofficial Housamo Skill Database Survey results were posted I'm not exactly sure when must have been in the past 4-5 days since I last checked.

A lot of information kind of almost too much to process especially a lot of the charts/graphs made up solely of connecting lines. It's still interesting to see current thoughts about the game, how people would react to the idea of gamma/NagareboshiPurin characters getting drawn by different artists, the unsurprising sentiment about translation schedule, reading through all the free form question responses actually seen one of mine in the mix, and of course the popularity poll Shennong getting 3rd, Wakan Tanka getting 22nd and Takemaru tied for 61st. Krampus, Arsalan, and Nomad placed in the top 25. While my other favorites were lower but for the most part in the top 50% overall so that's a small win in my book.

I don't remember having to do anything special with the Snake HDQ, maybe focus on getting rid of Yig first with a hard-hitting unit and then pick off any remaining mobs.
For the Horse HDQ, my main issue was Glashtyn's Bind when hit which can be countered with Pazuzu or MQ Nyarl's debuff removals so other units can properly deal or mitigate damage, whichever is easiest for you.

Probably a bit late but just in case like the other anon said for Yig's don't take out the other enemies he get's healed after they leave. If Yig and an enemy are defeated at the same time he doesn't get healed. You can use your own Yig and a Support New Year Takemaru if Takemaru's close enough on the 1st turn move him behind Yig so Yig gets his Charge Skill on the 2nd turn to grant Guts again if needed. Yig can do a fair amount of damage thanks to Limit and Poison Strengthening this works even if they're the only two on your team.

For the other Quest you could use 4star Maria with her Skill Evo Myrrh Martyr and her Charge Skill Evo to cheese it with only her and a Support Tropical Toxic Summer Shennong. Shennong has Purification to help stop Glashtyn's Skill Lock and he gives Maria Glint making her chance to grant herself Guts When Hit 60% for two turns. Shennong also has Guts along with Dazzle and Evasion to help tanking. Just move them to the corner where Takemaru is to take less damage. Everyone getting Charge Skill Weapon Change to All actually helps Maria since her CS Evo grants her Damage Reversal for a turn. If she does get taken out she heals allies within two spaces a little bit so that can help. Things are even easier if you have the AR Card Where are you going? but it's doable without. Summer Leib, Sports Chernobog, and Yig could also be used for Guts support

Earlier today a Winter Refresh Campaign was announced it starts tomorrow and has a variety of things.

First up is a Winter Refresh Transient Summon Banner featuring

Ahab 3 and 5star
Cu Sith 3 and 4star

That's because they will be getting Character Quests added during the Campaign but exact dates are unknown.

There will be Guild Alliance Strengthening Special Battle! Quests to earn Guild Alliance Certificates. Its noted that they will not be added to the regular Weekday Quests but maybe in the future they could be be. But for now they will be available starting tomorrow and end on February 13th.

There will be Charge Skill Evolutions for Xolotl, Volos, and Duo they will be on a Banner starting tomorrow and ends on February 3rd.

Xolotl and Volos are 3 and 4star while Duo is the 3 and 5star focus.

And finally over 100 My Guild Items will be added to Andvari's Shop tomorrow.

I hate being under the weather and this Sheer Cold weather doesn't help. But I finally finished Valentine Snowball Fight.

It was enjoyable I think I liked it better than Battle of The Valentines but while the snowball fights were fun and there were character moments within them I felt as if there wasn't as much for the Characters. It felt kinda like a mini Mystic Christmas. But the Event overall was a fun setting changed up the theme to be camo suits/bathhouse valentine but I prefer when the Valentines Events give characters more causal clothes. Tez still being Tez and same goes for Andvari. While it felt slightly out of left field Tezzy Wezzy War Kitty is stupid silly and fun to say. Zab got to have a little fun yet thought about punishment after...so close to the days of Seaside Summer School/Halloween. Which that brings me to how I wish we have more Events like those where we aren't trying to stop the world from ending due to new character of the month we kinda got that this time. We did get a few tidbits from Mephistoples calling us divine one, "My Faust" which after learning about the origins of Meph through that tale I now understand why he's the WR of Gehenna. mentions his useless other half and how he doesn't want him to be helpful as that's when we're in dire straits. They really said screw it spoil stuff with the newer events. Also the black marks on his face are sideways M's I feel so stupid it hit me just now. Then Shennong oh the close eyes open mouth say ahh and the need warmth moments is what drove my desire for him to have a Valentine Alt 200 fold years ago. (I wish LW was 10% as greedy as Fire Emblem Heroes with alts seriously Lyn got two alts within three months last year.) But back to Shennong the things I'd (consensually) do with that man to make him moo in my hotel room this Event would make Shaytan's fall from Eden look like childs play. The fact he said the teasing parts with Arsa and Zab right next to us

Maybe its me coping/trying to connect dots that aren't there but I do think maybe Shennong was planned to have an alt for this Event as he could have been a parallel with Giri regarding failing even diving into how Shen wanted to run away from it all as mentioned before and how he didn't have the support Giri did. He did say he never got used to the Battlefield and hopes he never does. Idk maybe it was planned it would have been 2 1/2 years since VSM they probably tried to reach out to Noku but failed since it was during his time of playing Final Fantasy 14 to purify his soul so they threw in Yori last minute.

Anyway as for the characters

Tanetomo I still don't care for mainly due to Main Story actions regarding Ellie and Marduk. We just get a slight expanded look on their backstory. They do have a petty rivalry with Shinya fighting to be the one to be doted on. Them saying Shinya acts fragile when he's not that was a pot meet kettle moment. But I will say all of that could be due to the fact they don't want to be useless and cast aside but would be okay with being cut down (I assume it would be more noble to be killed than alive and deemed/feel useless?) hence their actions in the MS as they're codependent on Yorimoto. I can acknowledge being apart of the driving force for their actions even if I'm not the biggest fan and again this is stuff we can see during the MS so not really new ground.

Shinya actually enjoying himself after leaving his old Guild due to reasons (Gee I wonder why?) was nice But it felt a tad samey his Rule was the focus. Him actually being happy Tanetomo hates him was interesting and he even uses his Rule to exploit people at Tane's expense of course they did say it was a waste that he didn't use it like that. His interactions/parallels with Girimekra was nice though.

Jacob. God take a shot every time he says love. I did with water and I've been so hydrated while reading this Event. He remembers in a past Loop that the cause for him being so enamored with us was we were both in the Missionaries and bonded but one day the ground collapsed and we fell but we were smiling until the end. He couldn't save us as his SA was Uriel's and can't save us due to Eden's hierarchy. It has always stayed with me that he is a Tokyo native yet has Eden's World Pillar. Unless I'm forgetting someone/something the WP has always at this point in the story been with a Transient from that World. Wonder Michael feels to have both of Eden's pillars out of his grasp?

Yoritomo really felt like a last minute addition especially since we just get a recap of him being scared of his brother and that was at the tail end of this Event at episode 7. We know now was tricky and seemed invincible but eventually died securing Yori the title of Noble Source. His reactions to us were interesting to see since this is the first on screen interaction with him and Tez making it impossible for him to avoid us.

Girimekra was the standout and really it wasn't hard reminds me of Suzuka/Tajikarao and Licho. Wanting to prove himself to be one others can rely on yet fails. He's a Shadow/doppel/Maha like situation granted being from Shangri-La/Deva Loka tends to be slightly confusing. It is admirable that he never really gave up despite his doubts even if he felt bad about the support he got but everyone needs help at times. Airavata being a more reasonable/neutral? entity was a nice change of pace yet was kinda there then gone felt like the outcome could have been the same without them. In the end even if his actions changed things slightly, still lost to the Warmongers, and still really doesn't have a full answer for Gorozaemon was kinda refreshingly realistic yet still feel good and both were Guru's at one point. Also Giri has very little SFW art.

That and the fact all eight dogs are effectively "cursed" with embodying specific virtues is what I was thinking. Tane doesn't even like Yoritomo that much, but since he's part of the lineage they were entrusted with serving, they don't have a say on the matter. Granted, I don't think twisting a sword in Ellie's stomach was particularly virtuous, but being deathly cunning is part of who they are too for better or worse.

Agreed, and so was the rest of the event involving Girimekra. They acknowledge how demoralizing constant failure is, how being offered help can also feel empty when you don't have anything to show for it. He even had an easy way out in front of him that you wouldn't normally have, but he managed to stay true to himself anyway despite his doubts. Not having an instant or guaranteed solution kinda felt more satisfying to me.

Thought about this earlier but Dragonborn playing on the title screen is an interesting choice. Now where's the full vocal version Lifewonders? Parts of it have been used in the background of some promo videos like Ch10 Warmonger/character intro so it exists.

Yeah to me it might be more of fear due to them always trying to find every or any hidden meaning to Yoritomo's words to avoid the consequences in failing to do so. Also my brain didn't even factor in the virtues at all so there's that too. But Tanetomo did tell Yasuyori in the Main Story they want to distance themselves from the battlefield/taking orders I cant remember exactly how they worded it so they are coming into their own but I wish that was seen a bit here. Instead of glimpse of what we already knew and the sudden Shinya rivalry since the other Dog Warriors have such little screen time compared to Moritaka and Tadatomo

Yeah after reflecting on the Event and Girimekra as a whole some more I agree. While I do enjoy the everything is magically fixed/happy like Valentine Fantasy with Boogeyman surviving thanks to Utopia tech/time acceleration/deacceleration shenanigans. But moments like this Event or the ending Battle of the Bells not being able to win the race/possibly be able to wish for Tanngrisnir's leg to be healed yet still having a positive outlook, or Arachne getting her everything's happy/worked out moment but we see her she work towards that. Stuff like that adds more to those characters/Events in my opinion.

Game has been so dead we didn't even get a Tadatuesday post today...

Well I don't have any personal hopes/wants for Valentine's alts anymore but I'll still throw out a guess for a Banner.

Cthugha as a 5star while I guessed this last year I still think it could work due to his ability to explode when his emotions run high which could be used for comedic purposes but an Event like Valentines could be a way to explore more of his desire to be liked and combined with the different aspects of the ways showing love/gratitude to others not just in a romantic sense. He deserves more screen time than what Nightglows gave him.

Willie Wildcat as the other 5star. I really feel like they could go with some heavy hitters like Q'ursha, Fuxi, Jack Frost even if it's not been a full year since his debut, but I'll stick with Willie Wildcat.

New character as a 3/4star

Nobumichi or Masashi as a 4star since it's been two years since Masanori's Valentine alt and Lifewonders loves giving the Dog Warriors Valentine alts except for Yasuyori and Yoshito.

Kimun Kamui 4star due to having the same voice actor as Kresnik since had voice lines from the AR Card The Night School Front with Only Two People and the New Years Event.

If the new character is free to play then I'll add Gurangatch as a 4star since he had voice lines for Anniversary.

I probably put too much effort into this but whatever. But while looking through the VA list on the wiki I was reminded that Ame-no-Uzume who I called totally not Junko Enoshima her VA is actually also Junko Enoshima and Azathoth's VA is Luffy from One Piece. I feel like this is not surprising for people who keep up with Japanese voice actors and I know Lifewonders uses big names like I know Tezcatlipoca is Dio from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure but I really don't keep up with them.

Unless I'm mistaken there are currently only 5 AR Cards that Boost Rank Experience and I have four of them with their Level Cap at 100. Ignore Revere Thy Teachers on Shennong

A Peaceful Day by 10% or 15%
Written in the Here and Now by 20%
The Fatherhood That Followed by 15% or 25%. Was called Fatherhood Since Then
A Temporary Alliance by 10% or 15%. Was called Together We Now Walk and this is the one I don't have.

AR Card effects don't scale with their Level like you would think or at least how I thought so back in the day. Take A Peaceful Day for example since you have it on Summer Chernobog. It increases Rank Experience by 10% but say you had bought 5 copies and it's Level Cap is 80 out of a 100 you'd think it would increase Rank Experience by like 14% however it's still only a 10% increase. Only when you get the last copy to get it's Level Cap to 100 it will then change the increase of Rank Experience from 10% to 15%. Some Cards with these effects do not work on Supports but some do work on Supports for example The Fatherhood That Followed for Rank Experience, Like Spotless Ice for Coins, and The First Shrine Visit Without a Bath for Battle Experience. So always look for a Support who has those Cards equipped and at a Level Cap of 100 to get the most out of their effects.

Also I hate to be the bearer of bad news but outside of Over the Fields of Study and Written in the Here and Now you won't be able to get the other Cards/any extra copies as they were limited run Cards only getting ran twice in Andvari's Shop but OTFOS and WITHAN are always available. Andvari Shop Cards do get a 3rd run during Anniversary in exchange for Platinum Lil' Salomon Tickets but I think that's only one time after their 2nd run ended in Andvari's Shop and after that you can't obtain them anymore which I think is dumb.

I know some characters/AR Cards have multiple artists credited like the Virtual Summer Memories alts and the Revere Thy Teachers AR card where I think BomBom drew it but Oaks did the coloring. But I think this is the first instance of the original artist being credited as original idea but I could be mistaken if not then this could bring some interesting possibilities for other characters.

This is the first time another artist drew a character that was drawn by someone else according to BomBom on Twitter. Virtual Summer Shennong was drawn by Noku but Hinami and Lifewonders are credited as well as I'm assuming they contributed to that alt specifically since Noku is the only one credited for Tropical Toxic Shennong. Even Summer Hombre Tigre had Hinami and LW credited along with Gammachaos. Granted I can't really tell how they contributed to VSM Shennong or Hombre Tigre's art. Xigma is credited as the artist for his characters but most of their alts do have Lifewonders credited as well like Main Story Nyarlatheotep then there's Christmas Nomad who has Hinami credited alongside Xigma.

I was half asleep this morning looking over the news and typing everything so I didn't realize the new artist credit at first so I thought huh BomBom's art style has drastically changed all of a sudden since Christmas Jinn. Then I noticed the hands and realized it wasn't BomBom which I felt bad for since his art has improved over the years since F-kare plus he's a better artist than I ever will be.

Congrats finally some good luck for you! I looked at Cipactli's kit and I think it's kinda neat despite him being Blow range. In theory you could use Volos to give him Combo to try to spread Charm, Final Blow, increase his CP faster after hitting and double up his -HP effect. Add in Valentine Amduscias to stack Glint and Concentration to help his Skill Rate activation and Cipactli could shutdown most enemies on smaller boards.

I skipped the story but went back to see and yes he is a new character Cu Chulainn. I never had any idea for a design or personality for him but "dog-boy boyfriend streamer" certainly wouldn't have been in my realm of thought. And it can't be a coincidence he debuts in a Valentine Event like MacRoich did.

Unless Lifewonders throws a curve ball we pretty much know what will happen until May. After this Event ends we should have a Spring Campaign next. Which will likely be a Banner or two following some theme, reruns of Limited Dungeon Quests, Skill Evolutions, Daily/Free Quests needing only half/quarter stamina and maybe add a new Quality of Life update/feature like they have in the past. Then that will most likely go into New Semester in early April and if they do what they did last year there will be a Date Quest Campaign after that. Then at the end of April we should be a small Golden Week Campaign.

Took me a bit longer than expected to finish Chapter 14 but I did it.

Oscar debuts and we see Nyarl in his Main Story Alt outfit I wasn't aware it debuted here. Christine lost her family very young and wanted to act as her dream. Mononobe was one who always gave her roses after her performances and she asked why. He said was filling in for that man and Christine wished to thank Solomon and make his existence less lonely. (So that's who she must have been referring to about performing for in ch13.) Ose is alive and is locked up with Loki. Recap Ose having part of Odin's memories and learn Loki's great crime of putting a wall around Yggdrasill actually prevented Ragnarok and took away humanity's future in Yggdrasil. Curren made AI Phones that optimize the users potential more so than they could. Which is part of her Plan C and while its flawed where humanity will still stall but the Entertainers can solve that somehow. We see Overlord and it's cool and creepy so thanks I hate it. It says with time and wisdom there is no future and we see a supernova background and get sent to Madoka Magica death land. I never seen the show just clips but that was my first thought. Meet Quantum she's from Utopia says us saying Exception is an old term for someone as old as us to be saying. (That was oddly specific) and we're in a place where people are not alive or dead. She also says we remind her of the original observer (Solomon?). Horus's mother started the scandals involving Seth and he hates his inaction during that time. The Entertainers can add or remove Roles and Oscar gave Bigfoot and Babe Roles and names they didn't have. Get Midearth lore how Ahura Mazda is it's judge, WR and WP. Everyone from ME has a perfectly matched opponent. Ahura's rival is the Exile Ahriman. ME was the primordial origin of Worlds and had Judgement Day which Eden used as reference for it's World/System. Tianzun appears, can see the future and proposes a Mega Alliance of Guilds.

We realized we lost our arm and Sword they're back in Tokyo with Lil Sal who almost goes to Solomon but Barguest stops him and takes our arm away. Amduscias was a producer of music under the name Am-P but wants to be an idol views Gabriel as his rival and it was by chance he joined the Entertainers. Barong tells him to livestream everything to those not on stage and Quant mentions everyone in Utopia can receive radio waves and we use our phone to see what's happening. Beowulf and Christine fight and her name means follower of Christ/God. That was in front of me the whole time wow. Sanzo is the Guru's Guild Master, has a kid on the way, and is the protege of Tian. The Guru's believe the road we follow has no end causing both hope and fear in people. Gabriel brought angles who fled from earlier to help the Alliance and notices Maria struggling while everyone calls people to help fight like Motosumi calling Takemaru. Exposition how the WR's only seen things from the front while people like Jacob seen things "backstage". Solomon was human and given his Ring by Michael and he hears the voice of the True God of Creation. Yet all he could do was watch his metropolis from his thrown as his mind couldn't do much else. Some Worlds know Solomon having his Sword and Summoning Emblem like in ME yet some say his descendant washed ashore in the far east passing his blood and Emblem down as part of the Mononobe family. Tian meets Bar and can see Lil Sal who's unsurprisingly connected our arm. The Beast Tamers are locked up and Leib gives the sample from the Shinjuku arm to the Rule Makers which was ordered by Horus. BT lore how they wish to gain full control of their Rules and how through careless use of them is how the Tamer and Beast system was made. Yuma doesn't have a Tamer. Yuma gets shown memories by Nyarl and Boogeyman how he wished he was Therian and how he isolated himself at home. He reverts back to being human and Amdu recognizes him.

Pazuzu and Hastur jump in and Hast hates Nyarl and mentions how he has multiple Roles and lives. Paz says Nyarl hacked the Game's Role and Role System to suit him best. (Old Ones and hacking the Game I swear and yet no one questions that statement.) Gurangatch debuts and takes the trio to safety. The Wanderers having Roles where they have no true home but Rules with vast powers and can mask their movements. Raven Arthur debuts is a Game Master and saves Beowulf. Barguest shows Yuma, Hast, and Paz our arm and Yuma sees a human arm and Hast sees a tail or a tentacle of his nemesis Cthulhu. Bar gets on a video call and shows our arm to the Alliance and Maria sees a human arm. Gabriel sees an angel wing. (It was neat to see how being a Wyrm and how others might see us.) Then they talk about Transients leaving their SA after they leave Tokyo and what that could mean for us. (Granted I don't think many of them realize we are technically a Transient.) Get Q'ursha lore how his hunter companion were the best and loved those days together. But the companion fell in love with a mountain spirit yet the spirit spilt him and his companion apart. This caused Q'u to hate love and coming to Tokyo is like a sick joke to him. With that trauma he's just the poster child of one night stands in a self deprecating cycle. Solomon leaves Christine and Nobumichi left Horus and teamed up with Ahura?! A fight between the Alliance and Entertainers break out Yuma and Amdu dont want to fight each other and Solomon commanded everyone to stop. flashback to Bar and Gabriel talking about Solomon and his ideal Metropolis but in legend a better place would come into the world something like This Tokyo. Then our arm and Lil Sal go to Solomon and Tian catches him saying to really look at Solomon and if hes really his father. Lil Sal then asks Solomon if he remembers leaving him behind. Kirito in a past Loop was told about the Loops by Mononobe. Mononobe-

The Solomon answers lil Sal and he doesn't remember and Duo has a monologue how Solomon doesn't have this Loop's memoires yet so he's technically not complete. Lil Sal wants us back and Solomon says we'd have to trade places due to Tokyo's operation of perfect equality and Lil Sal agrees and we see an opening from Backstage and have to leave Quantum and make it back to Tokyo trading places with Sal and our arm. Solomon is gone but Paz and kinda see Overlord then Raven drops Beo over us to kill us as thats his Role of Mutual Destruction as a Dragon Slayer and how he just wants to keep the Game alive to fight forever. Hastur fights for us despite seeing us as Cthulhu poor guy. Paz realizes why there's two Admin guild so they can keep each other in check and Overlord is a check for Solomon. Barong dances for a god not of Shangri-La and has a nemesis the Demon Queen Rangda who dances for Dark but Barong can't dance for the Light forever as he's not a god so he dies. Then his Mask is given to the next Barong. He wants to be used as a commodity and will do anything to see someone smile even offering his entire being to his god and we see him do that for Overlord. Tian tells of those who cant stay in Tokyo those who are larger than the scale of the world, those who cant conform their existence and those who are All seeing/knowing. Divine Attribute was hinted at for a while huh? But if a All seeing/knowing being can reduce the size of their ego then its possible to stay in Tokyo. Overlord starts sending people away and Boogeyman tells Bar he takes any part so children don't cry. Kinda hypocritical right now. Then Bar gets taken away by Overlord. Nyarl or rather Yurakucho Nyarl finds Maria. she says he's still the same Nyarl and all he does is for the one he loves off stage.

That got to him for a moment sadly she gets taken by Overlord. So do Amdu and Yuma after we try and fail to stop them fighting then Ahura tells us to get up. Learn Ahriman created the Wyrm of ME Azi Dahaka. Ahura sends us to another reality where everything is happy. Paz thinks he's in Overlord sees Hast who says he loves him and Paz gets horny for lizards. The real Hast sees a fake Yuma and recalls how much Yuma wants to help but really cant and he gets all soft on fake Yuma. We break out of the alternate reality and have a thin object like a dragons husk which is apparently from Ahriman's ability to create SA's from nothing. Ahura says that sword is our only stand against this worthless reality. (hmm okay then.) Ahri wasn't born but created as an evil to beat and his Role wasnt given and cant be changed and is destined to fall to Ahura on judgement day. Alice and Sanat talk about how the Entertainers and Game Master and how each don't age/want to stay young but if someone sees the Entertainers outside their parts they instantly age. So like the legend told from VSM interesting. Nobu stops Ahura and tell him a secret and Q'u takes us away and to see Oscar. Oscar's works are so good many think they're reality. He trusted Loki kind as a emotional substitute for his parents. Loki breaks that trust as he sent letters of Oscars plans to the Rule Makers. In Overlord/backstage Maria sees the real Maria and Nyarl tries to break her spirit by revealing the real Maria wasn't perfect and was involved with Solvency, Slander etc and how she lied to Maria. But Maria is unfazed the real Maria was the first person to help her and lying could have been her form of love to shield her from things and not from a place of ill intent. The real Maria was her everything and that's what keeps her going. This causes Nyarl to freak out God Maria continues to do things others can't. AIsaac talks about Utopia being a possible future Tokyo thats doomed and Overlord is a paradox of sorts. Back in the Great Spirit Bigfoot had different name one that was meant for a pure vessel of the gods but Oscar gave him the Role and Name of Bigfoot and he felt happy as that was the first name anyone called him. Then somehow he feels the love Wakan had for us/all things but that however that was meant for him to play the part of protecting us. I knew Bigfoot was coming on a little too strong. We help Bigfoot ask what would he like to be called and he wants to stay Bigfoot and we establish a hierarchy (Shennong don't look) Duo monologues how all this started with a grave sin as perceived through a gods eyes. A sin Mono cant be forgiven for and how the Entertainers allowed it to occur. Kirito wants to leave this world and eventually figured out how the world works and creates the perfect crime which I guess was killing us in a past Loop? This somehow can get him away from this world I guess? and Christine offers him help. We find Solomon and he says for the sin Mono did he will explain everything yet Kirito drags him away. Apparently the arm from Ch2 is ours from the future? We find Kirito and Solo/Mono tell him he doesn't have to lie anymore and Kirito starts to cry. Lil sal wasn't Backstage but in Toyko's past.

Backstage we were in was actually Tokyo's future. So sent to our original timelines? Barong is alive and so is Bigfoot thank God! Mono's sin was he interacted with us/mc in regards to us being the Trophy? Sending Lil' Sal? to the future? Hiding the arm?. Solo's the representative of the Divine Creator/God but god is just a System and humanity needs a new System. The purpose of The Game is to make a new System from nothing to ensure humanity's future as to not end up like Utopia which is in fact future Tokyo. It was proposed by Curren and the Loops use Utopia's time travel abilities and the 23 Wards being where Transients can be Summoned. In theory creates a stable foundation for the Game until a solution is found. Michael and Amaterasu decide to reenact Ch8 and kill Solo as that was their plan to kill gods proxy. We're Solo's reserve somehow?! They want us be the new divine ruler. I checked Ch8 and they did say to use us as a sacrifice for their New System. I thought back then that our sacrifice would stabilize Eden/Takama/any Worlds System and prove its superiority over other Worlds. Solo isn't dead thanks to Mono's memories. All pure hearted Tokyo natives were taken to the Rule Makers Portal especially those who're Guild Masters. Yet Maria is still with us so is she not actually native or pure hearted? That might get explained in Ch15. Other Guilds join the Alliance to fight the Rule Makers. I'll be honest this does feel like the end of the Story even with at least two other chapters left. But Im not sure how I feel about this Ch. maybe its because im tired. it had hype moments but the answers didn't feel explained/satisfying. Like I still dont really know how Kiri's crime would allow him to leave, the specifics of the arm and what exactly Mono's sin was. While we have the reason behind the Game and I'm still invested I feel like the reveal doesn't match whats been established. I cant explain I'll try to have my thoughts sorted soon.

It was. I wasn't sure if it was Summer Pool or here where they really drove the point home so I avoided mentioning it back then but the setup for All-round, Infinity and Null having the potential to attain divinity seems like it was planned from the beginning.

And tangentially related, icons for the Divine attribute were included in the game's apk many months in advance before it first showed up in a story fight. I remember finding them while randomly digging through files and wondering why no one talked about it. I suppose I can't argue it wasn't as juicy as a banner leak.

I'd be curious to read them. I think I get it though, for me, Housamo's story usually loses some of its appeal when it get too lost in abstract wording which this chapter had plenty of, ironically making explanations harder to follow. I get that some vagueness should be expected when you have to deal with so much mythological context and future-proofing but like, come on, the amount of dialogue in the game easily reaches novel levels at this point while simultaneously having long periods where no new translated content gets released, a little more clarity would go a long way in making it more enjoyable.

Regarding some of your questions though, the best I can come up without rereading is that either the Entertainer's admin rights and/or Overlord would've allowed Kirito to finally meet his end, while Mononobe was guilty of genuinely caring about MC and Kirito, acting in their own benefit at the risk of the System's stability which he was meant to upkeep.

Thankfully having the day off and sleeping for like 10 hours after I posted last night I think I have some mental capacity to explain. If the purpose of The Game is to ensure this Tokyo’s/humanity’s future why is it all under the pretense of an App game around establishing Guilds, capturing Portals, Etc? Granted you can argue why is that set up necessary for the Ch1-Ch7 plot of determining the superior Mythology.

Of course I understand this is a Gacha game thats almost 10 years old. LW probably weren't expecting it to last this long so the story has to go past it's original scope and Gachas need to continue to keep players invested somehow which story is a big part for people. So the 1st big change in Ch.8 the purpose becomes centered around the Loops, WR's and their Worlds/System to get us/MC as the Trophy. Which to me still works with the original intent of what is the superior World/System/Mythology like Shuichi said in Ch.3. But with the reveal of Tokyo needing a new System to be made from nothing makes me wonder why have the WR's and their World’s Systems in the first place if preexisting Systems might not work? By extension what’s the purpose of the Exiles? Other than being ways for the WRs to be all I love/hate you and be a reason MC cant win.

Then there's the original intent of the experiments at Fujimi. Yes technically it's still connected from extending human life through memory transfer to now trying to find a God. Which now God isn't a being but a sacred/holy System. I don’t know maybe my thoughts aren't super clear. Even with sleep I'm always sleep deprived so I might be saying things that are technically already explained, dont make sense, or could be wrapped up in a bow later.

Iirc Summer Pool only went over Infinity and Null. But if I had kept up with the Story/summaries back then learning about Divine Attribute early would have really cool in my opinion

That's very true and not only for Housamo but Arknights which funnily enough their Ch14 has the current highest English word count at 101,323 words while the 2nd highest is 83,209. I dont know if Housamo rivals that or not but after doing Ch.14 Episodes 5-8 in about 6 hours Saturday (not in one sitting) it feels like it could. Granted because of that I skip the Story/Events and only do dailies now for AK saving for Mountain's alt that will never happen. While not important Mountain's English voice isn't what you'd think but God its great he's a big Southern tiger man.

But back to Story the wording can be a lot. I'm not a literature aficionado or anything but in most cases I can pick up on themes and whatnot without needing it to be spelled out. But characters like AIsaac or Tuaring being 99-D chess players dont help. There's also the amount of new Characters they add and needing to give lore. Like with Amdu and Nobumichi having lore thrown in during the last part kinda was annoying. It also feels like other characters/plot lines fall to the wayside for too long. You know like what happened to Shennong after Ch.11? Or Ellie did she stop what she was doing and go stalk the elementary departments of schools?

Nah, you're good. They're concerns that came from your own experience with the game, I'd say they're as valid as any, doubly so when LW puts so much emphasis on their stories and worldbuilding. I don't know the specifics of it, but apparently recent untranslated chapters do say more about the App at the very least. Whether that gives us more answers or questions though, I'm not sure.

It's been over a month since I read Valentine Snowball Fight but I still have Tezzy Wezzy War Kitty living rent free in my head. Even if I still find it funny I wonder if it's a blessing or a curse at this point. Anyway I had another thought about Ch14.

How did the combination of MC, Bigfoot, and Kirito cause Overlord and Solomon to appear? They mention Big's close to god/godliness so I guess that's responsible for Solo. Kiri is connected to nothingness so thats for Overlord and possibly with Big's Godliness combined. However Exceptions from clashing Rules that we've seen are the Sacred Artifact's original owners like Thor or they go berserk like Ophion. Big and Kiri not being original owners of their SA's makes sense tho. But I doubt Utopian Overlord's SA would be a small Knife iirc its Jack the Rippers. Even with MC in the mix iirc our Exception is Lil' Sal. On a related note Solo's Sword is with Arsalan so by the established logic his Exception would be Solo. I feel like all this applies to Wakan/Tangaroa Infinity and Levi/Ramu as well. Granted I was too concerned that Wakan would die/leave Tokyo to notice

But Kiri is Null Attribute and with his connection to nothingness I feel like he could just peace out if he wanted. Granted the specifics of if/how special Attributes like Null or Infernal apply to humans in or out of App Battles aren't known yet but maybe soon.

Finished Yukimura's Memories.

I know the other DQ's didn't solely focus on Shiro, Kengo etc but the Dog Warriors being apart of this was a major surprise. First small nitpick we see only Toji and Tadatomo reach the Chambers at the end of Ch.14 but suddenly we're there too despite being in Yurakucho at the end of Ch.14. Past Loop see Toji's work with Masanori and Kresnik who find us and Shino. Never thought about until now but Shino being in Tokyo really feels like it should only be in the Main Story/current Loop since he appears in Tokyo due to Azathoth messing with the Gates. Yoritomo appears and surprising to see him more involved even faked his own death. Apparently he's actually an ogre but removed his horn to distance himself from his brother and was once exiled due to political differences things I feel like could have been in VSF alt. DWs were in different Guilds Mori and Yoshi were captured by the Warmongers while Tane and Tada were infiltrating the Invaders. I thought we'd see how different they could have been being actual members of those Guilds. Loki was with the WMs that Loop. That felt important. Tez dragging Amaterasu into his Mirror World was crazy even if that was a death wish for him. Temujin helped surprisingly though Tane told him about a child prodigy and medicine they had which is Masashi and whats with this sassy lost child? Being the most OP DW able to see all possible outcomes rivaling even the Child Prodigies. He didn't show up until he was the last DW to be found because he felt like it. Fuxi had two seconds of screen time until Temu killed him. LW is allergic to giving Fuxi plot relevance. As always in the end things turn dark as all the WR's except Yori and Curren die so the Game cant end and Shinos death caused unrest in the group. Toji kills everyone then himself as his Blades curse took over they constantly thirst for blood and get stronger with more regret/negative emotions they're exposed to over the generations

During the Campaign Main Story Quests will require zero Stamina while Free and Day of the Week Quests require half Stamina.

The Golden Cavern Dungeon will also be available until the 24th.

The biggest thing is the addition of Auto Battle. Again this is a simple feature that is not intended to make advanced decisions. It can be turned on or off in the Team Set up screen before Battle or during Battle. If your team is defeated during Auto Battle and you choose to revive Auto Battle will automictically be turned off. In addition character starting positions in Battle will now be in fixed locations rather than random in a set area.

It's funny to see Shino and Xolotl be the 5star characters for one of the Banners as they were also on a Banner together for the 2023 Spring Campaign. While I would like to try for Melusine I'm going to most likely skip since she's with three other 4star characters plus New Semester is around the corner. But best of luck to those who plan on Summoning!

Finished Come Forth, Fortune! A Ritual of Dragon and Ogre. I enjoyed it more than The Rabbit of Fortune and Go get 'em Tiger!.

Briefly got to see some old faces Melusine, Wakan, Durga, Takemaru. Also Otter granted would know more about him if his Event was translated. Ophion was back for 2 seconds and I somehow completely forgot Fuxi plays a part in this Event. I cant tell if they have mutual respect for each other due to obsessing over us or are they one step away from ending the current Loop. Whose to say. But I really wish Fuxi wouldn't only be Oh my dear sister/sibling (he flip flops saying one or the other). Like Ophion is the same way but it's from the spouse perspective while Fuxi is more speed run secret sister route. Which I didn't feel like that during his debut in Ch.12 I don't know if it's meant to be cranked up to 11 for humor but I feel like its a bit much, one note and is at the line. He had a brief moment about whose at fault back in the day then says it's Nuwa's fault but I think/hoping he said that while still under Amanojaku's Rule so its the opposite but would have liked to see him flat out say it.
