>>1915526 I can't for the life of me get the DMM version working again, I'm filtered. I'll try in the future through mobile emulator. The couple of instances that I saw of people running into this issue in the Discord (saw two exactly with the same problem as me) also went unresolved and were aptly suggested: If DMM not working, play through Android emu.
>>1915694 I searched it: >I deleted everything inside the Last_Origin_R folder >App Data, Local Low, Unity, Last Origin R These guys? The folder's location should have changed now that LO was transferred to Valofe. Mine is at: >C:\Users\USERNAME\lastoriginr Try deleting the corresponding one, replacing usesrname with whatever your PC is named. The folder might be invisible.
>>1915761 >Try deleting the corresponding one, replacing usesrname with whatever your PC is named. DMM already by default selects your user folder as the installation path. So, I tried again to see if I by chance changed it, still nada. And that's been the default path since I last played it back then almost 7ish months ago and before I deleted the game and DMM. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Visual C++ runtime libraries (C++ v14 x64) many times.
I've gotten schizo troubleshooting this that I'm just trying random shit and see what sticks. I started assuming it might be a codec problem, because you can interact with the black screen and see blue sparkle effects; there's just no title screen/visuals on display. I downloaded LAVFilters and every imaginable codec to see what would happen [/spoiler]nothing of course. I don't see myself figuring out what's causing the issue without doing a complete system reset, and I'm leaning towards not doing that.
pic related: this issue has been present years before the Valofe transfer
Cheers for trying to help out, I greatly appreciate it.

>>1924386 No. We had a few nude and nearly naked asses here and there but anything with anus hint has been forbidden by the korean board. The femcel director of Last Origin in retaliation released the bioroids' tops, stopping with nipple hints and going for nipples exposed.
>>1924393 I know this might be annoying to ask but im a Brown Fart 2 refugee now and want to try out Last Origin but i still dont have an answer on how to get and play it? help an anon out would ya
>>1924398 It's a common question. The answer is the annoying part. Unlike Brown Dust, we don't have an actual Global release. This means we ride on patched versions of the countries that do. The upside is, they have actually intended to release this on Global for years and had a lot of the story in english among the files. So the translators took those and filled the gaps with MTL. But then after the West kept increasing pressure, the korean companies sealed off western access. So we need a VPN to start the game if you are playing on PC. I don't play on android but there are directions on discord there for that too. >https://lastorigin.wiki.gg The wiki, scroll down, join the discord. They will have a guide to set it up including the right folders. In PC, JP version, which I play I had to download the DMM program (same one you use for games like Monmusu TD) and install Last Origin, then go to 2 folders and overwrite corresponding files. The upside is you only need the VPN until the game is launched, then you can close DMM and the VPN. Bad part is we need to turn up VPN every time we launch. If you have questions or their reaction to them is just linking the guide, you can ask here for help. We get that this stuff is confusing.
I heard what happened with Brown Dust and it sucks. I planned to give that game a chance. Really hoping the devs dial back on it cause it looked nice.
>>1924426 >another refugee Damn. Did they already implement the censorship? I thought it'd take a few more days for them to reconsider doing that. Regardless, first try this >>1924401, there will be a channel with the necessary patches and all. I have no idea how to play it on android but for PC we need to first download the DMM launcher and then from it download the Last Origin game. the uncensored version is Last Origin R.
>>1924439 Quick look at bd's general in /vg/. Shit's looking grim, they're pretty much removing all lolis from the game and a bunch of stuff that censors considered "violent towards women (e.g a date scenario where you slapped a girls ass) "
>>1924443 For how much it shied away from showing areolas, cameltoes, etc. it did compensate for that in other areas, shame it's all getting lost now >>>/vg/553335551
>>1924439 >Damn. Did they already implement the censorship? I thought it'd take a few more days for them to reconsider doing that Not yet, but they’ve already doubled down on their decision sent a compensation email. 2k gems per affected character and 100 gacha tix.
>>1924469 Correct. As I said here >>1924401 >the West kept increasing pressure, the korean companies sealed off western access. So we need a VPN to start the game if you are playing on PC. And >he upside is you only need the VPN until the game is launched, then you can close DMM and the VPN. Bad part is we need to turn up VPN every time we launch. In particular of my case I use the Tunnelbear. This VPN shit is the main reason I desire a Global version. I'm already used to it cause other games like Nikke need you to log in the standalone launcher everey time, but yeah, it's cumbersome.
>>1924526 That one is kind of beyond me because I play on JP and got everything I needed via tuna cans. Like, nearly all bioroids, aside some collaboration ones can be made via production. The actual premium currency is used for slots and skins. And I only wanted select few skins.
>>1924528 I think I didn't add but I'm F2P. I use the ones I got from missions and the like. I think the other people use google or something for theirs. Wait now that I think about it the DMM points I got from the festival should be elligible too, not that I ever used those.
I have two questions: Is the process of downloading the apk on the mega from the wiki, downloading the modinstaller for the EN translation, and registering my email on the Korean version completely safe for me and my phone? Is it true that I can pick MCs of different ages and that affects the story?
>>1931293 >Are the units still available in KR, and do we know if they will be available in JP? Since it was a collab, the event happen simultaneous in the KR server and the JP server, all units are still available BUT the event wasn't permanent, at least in the JP server (because is the one i play) you can get them in the gacha pool since i think they got added as permanent characters if you are lucky enough or you just can buy them with tuna in the shop pic related
Ouch. Up till now everyone said Angel Leoboros had achieved everything so you'd assume after the Goblin Onslaught and all the wank Dragon had that she was his pride and successful creation. But now we learn he regarded her as another failure.
>>1935350 I mean I have some presets but I don't think you will need them for a long time. That said it isn't much of an issue making a mistake like that here and there.
>>1937674 I'd wait unless she >Is your wife >Is some unique model >Is someone you really need for your party to clear hard nodes Since Events tend to have nodes you can farm those rarer units, though at the same time you'd want a fast clear to farm as much as possible. Take for example Labiata: she is an unique model. You aren't ever getting another Labiata as they integrate the plot that nobody ever managed to replicate one. Using cores on her will never be a waste because she isn't getting a farming node. Enrai on the other hand is a bioroid that on release did not have one and it took a long time for an event to have one. If you really wanted Enrai, core linking was your best bet.
Well frankly speaking it isn't like cores are that rare so there is no issue to go linking like crazy if you want.
>>1937680 My question was more about whether I should always use duplicates for Core Link, since the wiki suggests that some units are better without Linking dupes, but yes, I will use the items on Labiata I really liked her; it's a shame that the oriental dress skin doesn't have L2D
>>1937739 >My question was more about whether I should always use duplicates for Core Link Oh... yes, you do that. Most of the time. Back before having the Auto Mode we basically had some crucial units have a non-core linked version because it spent less resources. So a maxed powerhouse for Boss Stages and a weaker one for farming stages to run over the course of 3 hours. Nowadays, the game records your fastest clear and doesn't care how it was done. So you can put something like a level 1 unit to run auto farming on a stage you cleared in like 30 seconds and she will reap all the benefits at minimum cost and no danger. Therefore, there is little reason to keep a spare duplicate.
>>1937878 Unfortunately I haven't. Cause twitter is really weird to search art because of tags. Basically they have been popping up here and there but even searching danbooru yields little because few of them get reposted there.
>>1938042 >Basically they have been popping up here and there but even searching danbooru yields little because few of them get reposted there. Dead game.
>Commander is forced to partner with Gamma and fight side by side >Gamma deduces he is empowered by Origim Dust >fights so well that Gamma wonders if he really is human
>>1939382 >ends up having to kill it melee Damn. I knew he was somewhat strong after the surgery back in Chapter 6~7, to the point he could keep up with bioroids and even outrun some of the rapist ones, but it's often made a point he doesn't reach the tier of combat bioroids. Seems he is actually pretty close.
What are the best characters with big AoE skills for the story stages on the KR version? I've already used Marie a lot and I don't even like her normal appearance that much. I'm up to buy the characters if they are not farmable, I just want to try other girls
>>1940599 As the other guy said, Cyclops Princess. Before I got dedicated teams, she alone properly built could deal with a lot. Aside her, with more limited area, Eternity with a wounded unit below her, Glacias, Peregrinus with the delay chip are among the first that come to mind. The fastest comp period is more dedicated and restricted in what it can do but the Veronica self-damage suicide reflect build too
I for one am enjoying how Chapter 13 is making me use Labiata. I’m not sure how it works but the recommended korean arca live team to clear most of the stuff here is a team with her so I’m happy Sucks that I have to pick one among many skins to choose
>>1940599 Everything is very farmable. Your best aoes for non farming setups are titania, wraithy, gamma, melite, and cyclops princess. Wraithy and titania are some of the fastest clears in the game, not counting brunhilde idle and Veronica suicide teams.
I spoke too soon and in the 2nd part of chapter 13 the White Stalker node blasted the bikini off my Labiata and sent her to the medical bay in a naked dogeza. I’m not even mad because it was a long time since I saw that broken art and it’s glorious.
>>1944422 I think I dealt with most in the Sanctum without the later tiers with the Kohei Sisterhood team alone. Though I basically couldn't auto it because if any enemy got out of range, Angel would use her damnable 2nd skill that sets everyone's AP to a fixed value (usually less than before)
>>1944957 I'm far in 4 (easy) and 3 (normal) It's really mostly about countering dryer/freezer/fryer fuckers, I still have no idea what makes them sometimes crack and die and when they are completely resistant for turns upon turns. Assuming I only use physical dmg.
>>1945387 > I still have no idea what makes them sometimes crack and die and when they are completely resistant for turns upon turns. >Assuming I only use physical dmg. I can’t check the game right now but it could be something like elemental resistances (or weaknesses) and some passive they have. Though since you are early there I doubt it’s the latter. You said “freeze” guys. The other anon said he was using the Sisterhood. Try to hold the mouse over tha tanky enemies, there should be 3 symbols there on their resistance indicating Cold, Shock or Heat. If I’m right they’d have some super high vulnerability to Heat since Ramiel is a nuke. It would explain why he was clearing the early stages with the sisters.
>>1947434 Well that’s how they make money since the units are easier to get in this game. Also those skins with bonus like songs tend to be more expensive. I don’t see much issue if you only buy them here and there. Sucks though since I bought Shiden’s skin but my autism basically forces me to use normal Shiden most of the time anyway
>>1924393 Many of the existing skins got censored, too. There's a modpack which restores the old versions, but a) they revert on update, requiring re-applying it; b) all new skins are censored by default, so no "old" version to restore.
>>1950109 Per recent announcements, they still want a Global. Knowing how BAD things are in the west, they likely are trying to find a way around the censorship. But her Snowbreak now has their MC fucking the girls here and there so maybe we aren’t far-off
>>1950176 >But her Snowbreak now has their MC fucking the girls here and there so maybe we aren’t far-off >it's implications and black screens >snowbreak has no revealing nipples and cameltoe Anon...
Played LO years ago when the translation wasn't even a thing. How does it work now? Is it consistent at least or do you have to wait for new patched to drop?
>Omega fucking dies What the FUCK bros. This sucks. I hate it. We were supposed to correct the evil woman, but they just go and kill her off. And I hate but also love how bittersweet it was done. Fuck it almost made me tear up. Almost.
>Satgat still failing to find love >starts to realize that actually his best bro bot is kinda sexy (not like they truly had genders anyway) Damn that's crazy kek. Poor Peregrinus.
>after years being MIA, SNOWBALL (Alice and Charlotte artist) returns with a new korean gacha bros...imagine SNOWBALL's designs with the current art direction...
>>1961869 Looking at those hands, I was gonna guess he returned to work because he trained AI on his own art, but now that I'm looking at his old art I come to the realization he was bad with hands in the first place.
Anyone got a guide on facility part production? As in should I be spamming crafts with 300 total units to try to hit the gold parts or just mas produce the greens and upgrade them via the shop? I haven't dug around on arca live to see if anyone's done the math.
>>1961869 How do you check anything on this game? Searching Make Drama doesn't narrow ANYTHING down >>1964412 I never really cared for the facility, rather I focused on Research to be able to build ARGs.
>Was wondering how a maid cafe could be so popular when all bioroids are 200% straight >sure there are some voyeurs like Talon but it's idollatry and specifically footages of their bosses having sex with the Commander >turns out it's because the snacks they make are so goddamn rare basically they are only sold here Damn
>>1996183 I like how 50% of the trailer is just them slowly rubbing it in one by one milestone how it took 7 years before they got around to making a global version.
>>1996313 It's funny with how much bioroids are fetishized, the game still draws a line at the smaller girls in spite of being over a hundred years old at least. They could easily justify that appearances don't matter or pull that actual age without care. The devs really want to specifically fuck adult women of 25+ something
>>1996388 They already censored due to Korea's age rating system and Horizon Walker was released Global with no nudity, so they'll give us the censored version.
>>1996773 WHY >>1996811 No idea on Brown Dust, but this game was built and then sold off by the people that then made Horizon Walker. That's why the KR fandom hates Horizon Walker so much as they are perceived as traitors. It's somewhat warranted because they really wanted to finish off Last Origin by killing the Commander at the end. Frankly, I tried Horizon Walker and it didn't latch me on. It was funny and lewd sure but it lacked something, though I liked the Dungeon exploration and all. Perhaps I'm more into bioroids because I love these kinds of settings involving androids like Megaman. I like the overall lore and the girls are pretty cure. It just has something I find in it I didn1t find in others.
>>2000705 It's shutting down on May due to bankruptcy. What I'm trying to say is that some Korean gachas ended up changing the awards or showing favoritism to Korea when Global servers launched, only to soon shut down.
>>2000615 Majority of the units are farmable, the few that aren't tend to get a node in an event (hence why people are autistic with min-maxing teambuilding). You can Craft I think everyone aside select few collab units. Though in that case it would be the equivalent of the gacha. The thing is building bioroids and farming bioroids, and building equipment all use the same 3 types of materials. None are premium currency. The premium currency is Tuna Cans. Which are used for stuff like Slots (you have a limited number of slots available for bioroids and gears) and skins among other stuff. The game basically make money via skins.
I want to play this game just for her so badly but I legitimately have no idea where I'm supposed to start, what server or if this is even playable on english
>>2001745 That's the screwed up part: with Global server in-coming they put a ton of locks and we can't translate it via patch anymore. We are needing to use the Luna Translator now to make up for it
I can't believe I lived to see LO actually come to global, god damn, years of waiting and seething. I expect you bros to help me not brick my acc once global starts.
>>2002477 It's borderline impossible to brick since Tuna is only used for slots and skins. At worst if you spent all on either side you'd just have to wait a few weeks accumulating free tuna again to buy some of the other.
>>2003666 Disagree, the best way to use the tuna is for the team slots and the resource rooms for a better experience. The only time you should use the tuna for skins is if they're discounted.
>>2006588 fucking hell a trailer now damn and back in the day MFs said Valofe was the purgatory where games were sent to undead and LO found another wind to keep going
>>2006686 Last Origin is an aberration. No game survives being sold twice like that. How were we supposed to know it's throw its own gravestone away and keep living?
>Cyclops Princess >Blind Princess Wouldn't they be too OP for early game? Unless GL gets some special treatment and the banners change to catch up with KR and JP.
>>2007525 >old gacha game that uses resources for pulls >characters are in chibi forms >need a third-party site to register and probably download the game >gachas like Snowbreak, GFL2, and fucking Azur Lane has players interact with their waifus via rooms They already lost the moment they delayed the release.
>>2007575 Yes considering the trio is complete with LRL. This is pretty busted, as if made for people that are coming from other servers so they won't have much trouble rebuilding their teams. >>2007633 Apparently it's schedules for Early May according to chinks that noticed differences in their site
>>2007575 Didn't she come out like comparatively late into the game's lifespan meaning we're absolutely not getting a fresh start with progression and it's just basically a dumped localization of the current game more or less?
I've never heard of vfun. it reminds me of old destiny child moot site (if i'm even remembering right) does anyone know if they're moderate or at least not shit?
>>2008823 I only know them from their pathetic S4 League revival. Before the release, they promised to remove all the p2w stuff, but instead they made it even more p2w. On top of that, the servers were dogshit and they shut it down only a year later. Prepare for the worst.
>>2010667 why would I sign up for random pixels when I've already pre-registered in the play store, I don't care enough about using my burner for some shitty spam service >>2010670 2026-05-21 so two weeks
>>2010667 They will pull more preregs out of their asses or just give everyone all the rewards anyway. The last thing they want is to lose the few players who are interested in this because they didn't get their free shit.
>>2010777 I really don't trust Vfun after what they did to S4 League but this is better than no Global at all, if they make the game more p2w/lock skins behind cash only they'll just be shooting themselves in the foot It is in their best interest to just ctrl-c ctrl-v everything from kr but with official english translation so we don't have to patch it in every update
>>2007078 I'm a Newfag, what's the story of the game dev anyways? I know valof is supposedly a lich graveyard, but why does LO seems to be getting a special treatment and is infused with life rather than sucked?
>>2014498 Last Origin was really popular back then. I don't know the reason. I like the game, sure, but I don't really know why. It consistently topped DLsite charges and until 1 year ago still did. I think it may have been due to the situation, similar to how Blue Archive got so popular by standing out compared to so many games going dark and despair. SmartJoy wanted to make a harem game in the future, they targeted people struggling at university life and start of work life, meant to profit from skins rather than summons to broaden the playerbase and have more that would spend less than few that spend a lot, and they managed to get a solid diehard playerbase. They got attention from popular writers like Tite Kubo and hired people like him on events once a while (iirc Kubo was in charge of Kheshig/Khan's event) But SmartJoy didn't really care. In the end they wanted to move on to the next project. Not sure if LO didn't meet their intended levels or it was some sort of executive meddling from someone pissed off, could be either. You could see with the direction of the story, as in Chapter 6 or so they originally revealed the Commander was a brain in a Metal Parasyte and intended to eventually have Labiata kill him off. Which got met with a shitstorm and was redone. SmartJoy then sold it to Studio Valkyrie, who were met with heavy criticism for mishandling it until artists and VAs were interviewed and explained it was much better. SmartJoy's handling was a mess and SV was left with a lot to deal with, taking months adapting but eventually changing all the opinions to it, fixing a lot of what was wrong including Labiata's handling by around the Orca Water Park. KR and JP got more unified in their events and the like too. The next mess started in Blue Archive. Isakusan who left them convinced LINE to invest in his new vision but LINE was already indebted beforehand. StudioValkyrie that belongs to LINE then sells Last Origin to make up the money to-
>>2014790 - invest in Isakusan and his newest studio and project. This caused a lot of consequences in the KR industries back then. Blue Archive was left with a vacuum, Last Origin had to deal with the abrupt change of management from Studio Valkyrie to Valofe, bullied Chaos Zero Nightmare writers were then hired into Blue Archive to fill the void etc. Probably more, multiple gacha games in that time suffered long dry periods or subpar updates.
The point is, while Valofe is usually a maintenance mode graveyard, Last Origin likely wasn't one of those dying games. Rather than being sold because it was in its last legs, it was sold for a risky investment. Considering the diehard fanbase, it probably met Valofe's quotas enough for them to actually properly manage this game rather than just ignoring it with the rest of life support ones in its roster.
>>2014534 Neromashin being Neromashin. A decent amount of skins have in-game context but some of them are just there for the sake of having a skin. There's a few exceptions like the Tyrant loli skin which was released a few years before they made it canon in an event.
>>2014790 >>2014793 Thanks for the lore, crazy how every gacha industry no matter the country, always end up being deeply connected. I suppose SmartJoy went on to become GentleManiac, which really make no sense considering they really aren't putting any effort in that game as opposed to when they had LO.
>>2014810 I mean a lot of those games are korean. It makes sense the devs would take cues or want people from the competition. It's weirder how crazy everything got there due to Isakusan dreaming too high.
>>2016512 I'm trying to get all the Kohei Sisterhood as soon as possible at least Also all Lemonades should be acquirable through story progression >>2016556 Well we do get some amount of Tuna Cans that can then be used to buys skins if you wish. I'd prioritize some safe amount of slots first. It's like Warframe's platinum? Would that comparison help? Except instead of trading between players we get that on stage completion and on achievements.

>>2014007 I actually have no idea what I want it to be, but it has to be live2d for sure, I'm tired of 3d asset slop. I do want to say I'd hope it to be like CZN but without deck and grind bullshit, maybe a darkest dungeon clone would be nice
I don't even know what VFUN is, but I just heard the news. Used to play a bit of JP back in the day, guess I'll give global a try to see if it's a shitshow or not. Friend told me LO2 might be in development, do you guys think the global release is an attempt to squeeze a bit of juice out before pulling the plug? I've never seen a gacha version 7 years behind last more than a year.
>>2016515 You don't need to save at all unless you want them early or unlucky with RNG. Just wait for a while and the nest event will likely have them in the drop list or buy them with event currency.
>>2019623 >do you guys think the global release is an attempt to squeeze a bit of juice out before pulling the plug? Yes, especially since the game was part of many gachas that were focus on the grind before 2020. Also doesn't help that the game showcases the characters as chibis.
>>2019623 This: >>2020211 Valofe is a life support borderline graveyard of games. Yet they actually invest in Last Origin. Meaning either it profits them or the maintenance costs are negligible
>>1982086 Wouldn't gooks me Uber mad at this? Since Taiwan and apparently global have this and they can't due to law, or perhaps they can bypass it easily i don't know
>>2019662 >>2019854 >>2020211 >>2020235 Sounds good enough to at least dick around with for a while then, thanks for the replies guys. Guess I'll install this VFUN launcher thing, I assume it's a pc client that's used to play the new global version of LO. Is there anything in it I should block like with Nikke's pc client?
>>2020376 I don't think it's a make or break thing, depending on your computer, so if you haven't been noticing slowdowns, performance issues or cpu drain then you're probably fine. People recommend you block tbs_browser.exe to stop Tencent's shitty browser from running in the background and eating up stuff even after you close the game, picrel if you don't know how.
So from what I gather, you clear stages to collect materials that you can use to randomly gacha a character? How often do they add new s rank characters, or do they only add SS units?
>>2022455 That's how the gacha works but the easier way to get most characters that aren't brand new is speedrun a stage where they drop and offline farming it for a few hours.
>>2022455 Yes. This is why min turning is so important; the Auto clear offline farming runs in the shortest period and loops it over the course of 3 hours. The shortest times are close to 30 seconds. You lose resources just to try a stage. It’s a small amount but it’s proportional to the units used and how well built they are (MLB units are costier for example). But you don’t need to care for that when you have recorded your clear. You can then put a low ranked bioroid in a solo squad to loop the stage for the bigged positives as you will be spending much less than you will be gaining. That’s the reason Global has shilled the Cyclops Princess. She is a powerful AoE unit. She won’t be soloing a high level stage alone, sure, but she certainly makes things faster
Looking forward to getting my girl Seljuq's skin again. Did they ever add the ability to marry the big robots? And is there a guide/advice on exactly how to spend cans as a f2p? I'm wondering how many extra slots I'll need to buy with them so I can save the rest for a couple skins.
>>2008047 >>2007990 >>2007575 These rewards are similar to the ones you had on KR as the new player login a year or two ago. The actual accelerated start was a ton of resources for either logins or story milestones.
>>2023676 It could probably be the commander's children going into space. Or maybe they will retcon the story again and go "akshually, there were human colonies in mars/other planets and when humanity got wiped out they were aware of it but couldn't do anything about it and now ironworms/star childs are attacking them".
>>2023797 It will probably be the commander again, they are not going to change the Player character, the buck potential to re-introduce popular franchise character is too appealing
>>2023864 >the buck potential to re-introduce popular franchise character is too appealing the potential to make franchise characters the main enemy faction that you can recruit 2 years into the game's life is even more appealing
>>2023676 >>2023797 We had a subplot that Humanity tried to make a colony in Mars, which is estabilished by one of teh Orbital Watchers early on. The likelihood however isn't that it deals with survivors, but with the Metal Parasytes and the Starchildren. We know both came from space and the Metal Prince's notes expose that the Metal Parasytes were exterminating humanity out of need because otherwise ''everything would be destroyed''. Our problems weren't ever concentrated in Earth. Humanity can't be rebuilt unless we deal with those things and as long as we are at war we can't take care of any offsprings because hybrids of humans and bioroids need extensive modifications so their bodies can handle the superhuman strength.
So yeah, even if LO1 ends with a complete purge of those things, Earth wouldn't be safe since there is nothing stopping a second invasion like they did before with that wormhole.
>>2024591 >can't take care of any offsprings because hybrids of humans and bioroids need extensive modifications wait, what do you mean offspring of humans and bioroids? Can the commander in this game actually form an offspring with android girls? How can that be even achieved?
>>2025453 Yes he can. It's estabilished really really really early on that they have the necessary organs and all. But bioroids have something called Origium Dust that empowers them. A child of a bioroid and a human will have that but won't have the capacity to sustain. iirc the skeleton would be too weak for that. Makes sense considering Saman Industries developed bioroids BECAUSE of the limits Origium Dust had directly on the human body So the child would have to undergo that surgery four times over through their growth. Really expensive and most people wouldn't be able to afford it. Conversely, if a hybrid made it to adulthood there wouldn't be any problem in society because his existence would basically be a proof of how rich his family is.
In the present our bioroids conduct exams and the like and you are fucking them here and there, but they are actively avoiding having children because of reasons like the above + the ongoing war. The scientists among our crew mention once a while advancements and the like, so it isn't something impossible but they are putting that on hold.
>>2025833 This reminds me of that sci-fi loli doujin where the protagonist managed to find an old android manufacturing facility from the space expansion era and uploaded his AI buddy's neural data onto the android girl. Turns out the android girl's model was made to help humanity to reproduce while they were still inside the colony spaceship.
>>2025925 lol Well I like it for other reasons. I dunno it feels lewder when something magically is covering it >>2025990 It makes a lot of sense to do something like that. The irony being in Last Origin while that is the way to revive mankind, bioroids weren’t originally designed for that. They were more of a medical experiment to replace parts and later even full body of people with terminal diseases. And even that they were more of a consequence from the actual intent.
So, I know this game has been out for a while, just not global, but is the story done? I'm actually interested in playing it now since there's a global.
>>2026180 Huhhh I can't be sure how far KR's story is. I play in JP that is a bit behind aside events that run in both servers at once. We got a lot of progress in ''Earth'' proper, but not that much ''Outside'' it. Considering they announced Last Origin 2 will deal with space, it's likely then that we will learn more of where the lovecraftian aberrations and the Metal Parasytes come from. >>2026202 Good luck bro >>2026247 Holy sex!
>https://x.com/LastOriginRplus/status/2056668914428575939?s=20 >Region and Language Expansion Oh, rather than an actual global server release it's really just localized languages tacked onto the Taiwanese release.
>>2026861 >Japan so what's the difference between this and the fanza version? is it literally just going to be the same shit except you have to start over?
>>2026847 That's what I expected rather than a new version that is multiple years behind As long as I don't have to keep patching fan-translations every update I'm happy.
>>2027050 Behind who, on what? Is there pvp/guild-only content with leaderboards? I thought this was an always-online singleplayer game with *maybe* a chat function
>>2027070 There is no pvp, I don't know what the anon above you is complaining about, but we are 7 years behind KR anyways, and the Taiwan version (R+ which is the one we'll get) had solid content release due to that.
>>2026861 Damn, that's a lot of places getting fucked over. I'm amazed that my country of Cucknada didn't make the list. So it's coming May 21st, but does anyone have any idea what time? Half the world reaches May 21st a day early.
>>2026912 It was 40K yesterday and today we reached 46K in the morning. We're gonna make it tomorrow. >>2027223 Something interesting is that all the announcements on their new Discord have been during EU morning time so there's a good chance it'll launch then. Will be interesting to see when reset is for Ameribros.
>>2027294 https://vfun.valofe.com/library?service_code=lastorigin-gl I went here, downloaded and installed the VFUN launcher, and now I'm waiting for tomorrow or the next day to download the game.
>>2027348 This general is too slow for /vg/, it'll get buried in no time. I think it'd be better if the *cough* general *cough* remained here despite the rules, like Horizon Walker does.
Back when I played JP for a bit, I remember there was a youtube channel where some asian dude would post fast, budget auto clears for grinding both main campaign and event stages. Can anyone direct me to it if it's still alive, or a channel with similar guides? I remember a lot of this game was figuring out how to get a fast, stable auto loop going to get all the characters to drop and max limit break them before events ended.
So this is probably a stupid as fuck question but is the google play launch coming up somehow magically going to be uncensored proper, since it has R in the name, or are they banking on us falling for that to get a quick buck before Google shuts 'em down? Or maybe they're gonna try some kind of age verification shit to get around it?
I really want to play it without all the vpn and foreign language bullshit shenanigans but I also want the full package, nipples and all.
>>2027556 I mean that's what I figure, but there's a naive part of me that's hopeful. That and it makes it so much easier to whale with my diamond play point bonuses giving consant freebies.
>>2027561 Good to know, guess I'll stick with bluestacks then
>Be a western fag in Japan >Want to play Global uncensored >Nope sorry youre in Japan Fucking cunts. I can play EROLABs games uncensored perfectly fine. Really don't want to have to use a VPN for a fucking game.
>>2027572 Holy shit that site is atrocious, the signup alone is a pain in the ass and when the upper bar doesn't disappear on me, the email confirmation just doesn't go through after trying twice
So since this is just putting eng in the current TW r+ version of the game, what does that mean for us newfags? Are we gonna miss out on a lot of things versus if this was a fresh server? Is there story or events we will never be able to read? Or skins we will not be able to get? I'm not too familiar with how Last origin does its units and progression besides you can farm some of them in stages.
>>2027731 Most events aren't permanent but they do reruns occasionally and nothing in the events is permanently missable, besides the story dialogue itself I guess. All of the characters are permanently available, either as random drops from grinding stages (you can get the vast majority of characters this way) or from doing the main story itself for ones that are supposed to be truly unique or from spending farmable resources to try and build them. I guess the one bad thing depending on where they are in the release is that since the pool of characters you can get from stage drops is determined per stage, you might not be able to grind for certain girls if they're newer and dropped from an event stage instead of a story/permanent event one, you'll have to just gamble with production. But you only need the one copy because of the alternative dupe system. All of the skins are in the shop forever also, so you can always buy them with tuna cans, they just go on discount when the devs decide they're relevant to the event story or when they feel like it. Note that I'm speaking from the JP DMM version, I don't know what if anything is different in TW.
>>2028074 I think people are confusing >"We are getting the Taiwan version of LO" with >"They are expending Taiwan server to global" which isn't really clear either
>>2028138 Their wording didn't help with the >Region & Language expansion of LAST ORIGIN It is a new version based on TW which shows pussy, otherwise there would be no need to mention a restriction for South Korea or pixelation for Japan where they only hide genitals, and both already have LO.
>>2028238 But why? LO has never had pussy. Can't we just switch to the non pussy versions of skins? Why do we even have to have pussy skins, the tease was the best part.
>>2028250 Last I checked some skins have multiple toggles for accessories, the tasteful censorship is probably one of them. Would have to check with someone that actually played the TW version to know for sure.
>>2028289 How is it a retarded question you fucking retard.
LO was always nipple teases with covered pussy. Why the fuck do we have to put up with pixelation now for pussy? The unedited pussy skins should still remain. Why is that so controversial to you retards?
Not just that but the edits look fucking fan-art tier, so whats wrong with asking for the unedited, intended skin?
>>2028292 You're assuming they tossed the unedited l2ds in the trash, I'm assuming they didn't and you'll be able to see the covered up version in Japan or whatever We'll know tomorrow, no point in speculating
>>2027632 It really do. I can't remember the last time I was able to find a white content creator for any of the games I play. When I look up guides or banner reviews, it's always someone asian, brown, or both.
>>2028369 Literally no other men exist anymore, they've all been dead for years. Main character is so desired by his subordinates they have to come up with contests and have rotating schedules of who gets to go on a date with him and then get dicked down that night
>>2028508 If we do get Cyclops Princess from the pre-release thing, her. If not, we likely will have Eternity. Both are ridiculously good and self-sufficient. Tanky with powerful AoEs. Cyclops however goes further and hits the entire area. Of course neither alone can farm a high end stage, but pretty much everything below can be swiftly dealt with, and anything above with a dedicated team.
>>2028508 Don't roll like a retard and then complain you don't have resources to run stages. Invest in having at least 5 team slots (3 you get for free), 300 unit and equipment storage capacity. You can have a 6th slot for offline farming. Read the tuna expansion upgrades so you don't buy the wrong thing. Farm 3-8 for Perrault who's the earliest solo farmer you can get without rolling. If facilities are unlocked: 3x3 facility resource production, 3x3 resource regen, 2x2 exp gain and 1x2 equipment upgrade cost at a minimum. You can get more equipment and bioroid production slots to make dailies easier but it's not as much of a priority as resource generation. If F2P don't spend tuna on skins until you have all the basic shit down. Farm and do explorations as much as possible. Don't neglect equipment as it's the endgame for raising your bioroids. DO RESEARCH. Unlocks auto-battle, efficiency and AGS. You can build AGS units so there's no rng involved, but AGS has their own research tree. Constantia has an EXP boost passive. Never raise anything other than SS rank equipment. The story stages pick up in difficulty quite steeply especially for bosses. This is the main reason why you need a strong foundation. Don't raise units blindly since it can lead to you bricking yourself time wise. There are Korean guides with comp builds for attempting all the hard stages: https://arca.live/b/lastorigin/48396041 All flowcharts for building bioroids are generic "okay" builds. They don't apply to some units and you should minmax by reading skills. DON'T WASTE ALTERNATE CORES. They dictate how quickly you can dupe units without rolling/farming. SS cores are especially important for units you can only raise with cores. Plan your core spending. Don't yolo them blindly. Aggressively raise 1 main squad so you can easily farm event stages. Events are the most profitable stages due to the event exchange: you can outright buy bioroids, cores, upgrades, etc.
>>2028670 Thanks, this looks pretty solid. >Don't roll like a retard and then complain you don't have resources to run stages. Is there any point to rerolling on day 1 for a specific support/farmer that'll help a lot? Or should we just dive in with the freebies and wait for the thread to shout at everyone to pull a certain new bioroid? >300 unit and equipment storage capacity. Is this meant to be 300 unit and 300 equipment, for 600 total slots? >Read the tuna expansion upgrades so you don't buy the wrong thing. Could you elaborate on this please?
>download the VFUN launcher >leave it open in the taskbar >notice the PC fans are going crazy >ctrl+shift+esc >VFUN launcher is eating all the memory, even more than browser If this shit turns out to be malware I'm uninstalling and I will never touch LO again
>>2028704 >rerolling You can do it in like 15m but there's no point when a lot of the units you want early on are given via the story or farmable. >pull a certain new bioroid The game doesn't have banners. When you roll you're pulling on the entire character pool. You have to RNG it until you get the bioroid you want. Hence why there's not much of a point to rerolling since you're going to be rolling quite a lot anyway. >Is this meant to be 300 unit and 300 equipment Yes. >Could you elaborate on this please? There are expansion upgrades that cost tuna and sound similar: "Increase Squad Slot by 1" vs "Increase Squad Preset slot by 1". Presets just save the comp so you can paste it later if you want to move slots around. Slots are the actual comp. Also temporary vs actual permanent storage. >>2028712 She does have battle continuation so you don't need Perrault for solo farming.
>>2028715 Wow, no rate up on new characters? That's a first for me. Copy that, thanks for clearing that stuff up. Hope something nice happens to you soon!
>Important Reminder: >If you create your account first using Google, Apple, or Facebook, you will NOT be able to access the game through VFUN PC later. To avoid restrictions, please make sure to start with a VFUN account only. So, from what I understand, and if I'm led to believe there isn't some extra nonsense, a fresh PC player can just sign up, download, and get the full experience without jumping through hoops. If that's the case, I might actually come to Last Origin at the perfect time, but it also sounds like a bit of bullshit for a lot of older users.
>>2028601 Kind of yes. Fast AoE attack and she has tankyness. If not solo, abusing Mark and the like could force others to attack and have her alone murder most. Of course red stages that can change a bit but that's why you see specific comps each event
>>2027622 >>2028709 It looked sketchy to me, but somehow my shitty old laptop isn't experiencing any of the issues you guys are having. I don't get it.
>>2028709 Yeah, I noticed that, too. Eating 70% of my CPU just doing nothing. I'm going to be quite cross if you need to keep the launcher open to play the game.
So is the global version the same server or not? I played the game for a couple months last year and am wondering if could play the global version with my old account.
>>2028856 >>2028865 I downloaded the Vfun app from Google Play and in the app's Last Origin page there was the option to download the apk. 2 hours and 20 minutes till the server goes up though. Bet TWbros will be cursing once all the gwailo crash the server.
Is the vfun iOS version the uncensored version? Aka no pussy but still has the original art? Or is it just the App Store version in which case why is there a seperate download?
>>2029001 Last Origin is a resource bound gacha where you can do everything with resources. Premium currency is only for skins to account upgrades like unit capacity. You want to maximize your resource gathering efficiency as early on as possible by raising 4 exploration squads and leveling Cyclops Princess for solo farming. Don't use rare upgrade materials recklessly and READ what things are or do before buying them especially for expansion upgrades that require tuna. Also have sex with your bioroids.
>Day three of farming for Cyclops princess; >I have seven eye-patches for her. >Yet, only the one free princess from logging in. >I tried giving her seven eye-patches. >Her ACU stat dropped into the negatives. >And hen she called me a "baka." >So I continue my farming. >Hoping one day to have at least one other princess to wear one of these gosh darned flowers.
Pray for me, my fellows. For RNJesus has forsaken me...

>>2036115 You can upgrade some SS equipment into SSS variants but that's expensive + you have to level it again, otherwise you can get some from exchanges
>>2033887 I was curious as well so I tried searching. There's nothing on the JP site I could find (and yes they do list the VAs). Maybe there isn't a character yet voiced by her and this was a kind of easter egg preview.
>>2036128 yes they mean Heavy types bioroids although it makes me wonder did they never made an interstate bioroid between Light and heavy (aside from dev changing memes)
>>2036142 Some SS supports are from year 1 in the korean version, Hong is from year 2~3, natural gacha powercreep. They have been trying to update old units but that's a very slow and low priority process
does anyone know an easy stage that has lots of light-type enemies and lots of air-type enemies? I hate that smart combat counts for some daily/weekly/monthly missions, but not most of them. I'm trying random stages, but it'd be nice to have some dedicated places if I'm gonna have to do this every day/week
>>2036176 Events only get added to the previous tab if devs feel like it. I really don't know what devs are thinking because there are a few old events that they skipped and I don't see why they can't add previous events that KR have if we have story 13 already, same as KR
>>2036176 Gone. The april's fools event in particular has better exp rates than most events so I don't really think they will make it permanent anytime soon.
>>2036191 If the last stage is 13-40, then we're up to date main story wise. Event wise we're like 2 years behind, we're also missing the Sengoku Blade collab units which we will probably never get because of copyright reasons... funnily enough, we do have the Soul Worker collab units though kek.

>>2036252 Did we get the version where commander is a brain in a tube? or the one where it is half human? If anybody has the CGs for that moment, please post them.
>>2036260 Half human with the parasite infecting our cyber implants. Also, legitimate question: did the translation fuck with me? It said I was transferred to a human body, so I picked child-age to grow into myself, but the wiki says I became a Bioroid, so I'd be 12 forever. I know it doesn't matter, but I'm curious as to which is canon.
>>2036272 You did. It was a machine that makes bioroid bodies that the Metal Prince had in spare. Likely for medical purposes considering his actual goals. I don't remember if your growth is perma-halted for that since we later learn Doctor could make medicine that made herself grow into an adult, and stuff like multiple surgeries for Human-Bioroid hybrids to develop into adulthood are a thing. I don't remember if they answered the rest in a Q&A
>>2036272 By the way it isn't something like a ''recorded'' choice. Any point that your appearance in brought up you will get to pick again and they will react accordingly.
>>2036284 Actually I'm pretty sure most of the metal is in your skeleton, protecting your nervous system. He is still capable of bleeding in the Valentine's event and got a boner when Fafnir was on top of him naked too.
>>2036293 mega.nz/folder/llxQCILD#od2fGifw2q78N047D0M9sQ courtesy of other anons in the archived thread. Don't know how to apply them to PC yet though, so if you figure it out, please explain.
>>2036217 Turns out, the very last level of the first elevator. There was one in the middle I had to manual but that was it. The last one fails because there's an enemy in it that needs flame attacks to dispel its nullify damage ability.
>>2036306 Oh shit, that looks pretty good. I guess the drawing was cut out from a different image right? As opposed to an original drawing by the modder. NTA
>>2036344 You want to specialize them in either DEF or EVA, depending on the tank, but almost all tanks need some ACC, and some tanks want ATK, too. I'm sure there's at least a couple tanks that would benefit from critting, but I don't know them off the top of my head.
>>2036355 You can get 2 black logs that take you straight to max from doing all the tactics training room stuff for mongoose if you haven't done that already
Holy shit, the last level of the first elevator was a close call for me. My units were like one hit away from death but I got the boss just before he and his little side runts were able to make the attack.
A mechanics question: I was thinking of using Perrault as an EVA tank. If I understand it correctly, that last line in her A2 means I don't have to invest in ACC for her, right? That said, what does the "base ATK" in her A1 mean? Is it ATK without buffs or just the base ATK without gear etc? If so, should I invest in some ATK as well, or just go all-in on EVA like with any other tank. I do have Poi in the same squad and her follow up attacks are doing most of the damage anyway.
Thought's on spending tuna to buy units? I'm not a pure f2p player but I also don't play to spend a lot, some units seems like you can only get by buying but if they are going to be farmable in the forecee future it does feels like a waste
>>2036511 Everybody does become available eventually. Still, if you don't want to wait for that and the unit is prod-only, it's not a terrible idea. They're in the same price range as a skin so you can think of it as choice between buying a skin for somebody else or getting a bioroid you like early.
>remember the other thread got deleted so I can't link posts FUCK
>>2036320 Goltarion and 3 robots. Boss only attacks the last person that hits her.
>>2036330 Eventually you might want the LRL, CP, BP, Celestia, ID team but you will need an anti elemental enemy team. Look for the Ella, Glacias, Albatros, Rhea, Machina team for ice.
>>2036441 Yeah she won't need ACC but you probably won't put any points in ATK. If put points into ATK you won't be putting these points into evasion and then she isn't a tank anymore.
>>2036583 Amen. She doesn't get enough love, since she's a B starter, but the B stands for "Butt" and that's more than enough for me! I also learned that one of her censored skins is white, which is hilarious to me. https://lo.swaytwig.com/units/3P_Fotia
>>2036591 >It gives you at the start. You mean when it's the unit turn right? Because enemy unit still play before me, so I have to get really high speed in stats and not bonus
>>2036591 >All in on EVA Thanks. I was wondering if there is a soft limit after which the returns from evasion start diminishing. Since you seem knowledgeable about this, do you happen to know what Skill Multiplier from sync bonuses affects? Is it added purely to A1 and A2 damage or does it also affect buffs or other damaging effects like DoTs or Poi's "additional damage" from overexcitement?
How do I deal with enemies that keep putting shields up and my units just hit 1. The translation is way to bad for me to understand that, I'm not sure if my team is clearing the buff or if there's some gimmick I didn't get
Okay, what does the buff/debuff link bonus actually do?
Does her shield get stronger? her passive area of protection? By how much? Is it effectively a level 12 ability, compared to her 10 version? The hell even happens, because +75 hit is fucking massive and it's lookin' real tempting.
>>2036669 IIRC, that boss has a gimmick where it gains stacks of ATK+ every time it's hit up to five. On sixth hit, the stacks reset and the boss takes a set amount of damage.
>>2036680 every time he gets hit he gets a buff called executioner which increases his attack permanently after five attacks, he has a stack of five executioner buffs and this causes him to take damage when he attacks he uses up his executioner buffs so you have to hit him five times in a row, if you do it four and he attacks then the stack resets
>>2036648 It adds 2 levels to her skill effect's scaling, so it's effectively level 12, yes You can actually go up to level 13 specifically for buffs and debuffs in this game, because getting to affection level 200 or using a Promise Ring on a Bioroid gives them +1 Buff/Debuff level
Genuinely been a long time since I had any fun playing a gacha, the porn and fanservice is nice and is the reason I even tried and play the game, maybe that's the reason it's fun, they sell skin over character so while powercreep exist, it still not outrageous to the point of breaking the gameplay loop, over selling characters and constantly fucking the balance
>>2036684 I’m impressed at how many mechanics this has. I’m pretty much just copying builds but one moment you are fighting flying eggs with ton of evasion, the next really tanky motherfuckers and then the fame throws at you a boss that hits AoE.
I think the toppest of top evasion you can reach is around 700 with sleipnir. The problem is some enemies can still hit her. Skill multiplier adds to actives skill multiplier. If you want to buff passives then you need buff/debuff More complete info here https://lastorigin.wiki.gg/wiki/Core_Linking https://lastorigin.wiki.gg/wiki/Damage_Formula
>>2036703 Project orca starlight stage 1-3EX. It's a very hard stage so you will need a super team to beat it. Also you can't full auto it because there are enemies that mark themselves
>>2036709 Yeah, who would like a big titty goth gf who is obsessed with you and who doesn't stop loving you even when you hit her and break her, right?
>>2036733 There are some units you can only get with it because they don't have stages where you can farm them now/ever, but you are too broke for it so ignore it and keep farming
>>2036733 Do it until you get a SS unit for the achievement. You can always just smart farm more resources later anyway. Also always use 100 advanced modules or you lose chances of getting an SS
1-16 of the australium mines is fucking RIDICULOUS.
Sure, whatever, I will fight a level 120 version of the final boss of act 5 three times in a row. Fine. Can do. But why the absolute FUCK do the additional trash mobs have 4000 defense, hit for 1500, and have enough speed to move a literal 15 times before my fastest girl gets her first action? It has been smooth auto-battle sailing this entire time, and yet this is statistically impossible with a level 90+ fully sync'd team. I would need to have enough equips to get me an additional 2 AP on every girl, just to be able to tell my girls to fight back before they are all murdered.
Yes, I can just drop down to easy and fight level 60 enemies, but what the fuck is this difficulty out of the blue?
>>2036744 Sanctum 1 is a breeze, 2 and 3 go even more crazy, trust me. Also I recommend doing easy first. If you pass it on easy you can do normal from your highest easy clear. Basically you can skip stages you don't want to do and only do the ones that give you australium. You can do the other stages later when you decide to increase your cap
>>2036751 Oh, I dropped down to easy, and they still took 15 turns in a row (plus support fire to take extra free shots) and killed my tank, but I made it through and then slapped the final boss' super final final form dead before it could do a thing. I'm just mildly upset because who the fuck balance tested this? I was not exaggerating when I said it may literally be statistically impossible for anything except the most kitted out squad.
>>2036753 Nah. 25% fire and ice resist and 99% lightning resist. I'm sure there's something that should be done, like having a tank that can sacrifice itself to do massive damage, but it's still biggidy-bogus. The puzzle fights at least sometimes have an answer I can figure out, but this is just ludicrous.
>>2036757 I'm curious to know what your build was. I'm legitimately flummoxed.
I was thinking about why I didn't bounce off this game even though it's clearly very dated. And it only just occurred to me it's basically an eroge and making me nostalgic for games like Sengoku Rance.
>>2036791 I haven't bounced out yet, but usually units management is the death of me in those types of games It haven't got to a point where is annoying me yet
>>2036765 It's just my main team. Notes: I built it very lazily. First I put their stat points into accuracy until around 250, then dumped the rest into attack. Except for Khan, who I dumped all stat points into evasion for. I also put evasion increasing gear on her. The others, I put random gear on them that looked good. I didn't think. None of my equipment is upgraded at all (I haven't felt like touching them yet). Poi, Black Lilith, and Princess are fully linked. Everyone is level 90+. Princess and Sowan's auto default is set to their secondary skill.
This team got me through everything, except the last floor which needs fire damage.
You should probably still use an optimized build floating online somewhere instead of mine though. There were some points where I looked at the battles and noticed Sowan had died, though they still cleared each stage.
>"damn, this dodgnigger is tuff shit, i guess i need more ACC-" >hes just permainmune except for "postdmg/afterturn/whatev" attacks what a fucking annoying gimmick, what are some units that can help with that dogshit gimmick? i have Eternity and Sowan "ready" and ive just been grinding Poi, the fox and whatever other S i got from the event, but im bound to run into other walls like that in the future and i would appreaciate the help on wich bioroids could help with that, pretty pls also is there like a list or something on wich "squads" have coop attacks with eachother like the squad from the trainings? its fucked up that the game doesnt fucking tell you shit for like, 80% of its mechanics
>>2036824 To beat him you just need to attack him more than 5 times in the same turn. If you read his passive you will see that he can stack 5 stacks of executioner buff, 1 every time you attack. If you hit one more the buffs reset and he takes fixed damage. Do this until he die
>>2036818 I'm looking at that, and I am surprised you could auto through 1-16. Nothing of that is outstanding, and even the positioning should have fucked you up, since they attack everything in a row. Does Khan just have enough EVA to dodge the heat death of the universe?
>>2036824 Did you do the new player training? You get the Hong squad that you can use for that. Otherwise just put a bunch of units that can attack moderately fast. Heavy units are slow. You can also wait 1 turn and then attack everyone together if you are having problems to attack 6 times in 1 turn
>>2036804 Same, I have been coasting along with Cyclops Princess and autoing everything while grinding the event, but even now I can see the moment I start hitting the hard walls and have to manually manage my bioroids, I'm gonna probably bounce from this game HARD, unit management is NOT my forte, especially with the amount this game has.
>>2036829 Khan applies a self mark which makes enemies target her. That means their attacks are centered on where she is, meaning their radius is not the entire team. The row attackers would only attack Khan and Sowan. And if those attackers can't bypass protection abilities, then when they attack Black Lilith protects Sowan. But yes still, generally it shouldn't be a build that works that well for a lot of stages, but it kind of just chugged along. I did try it out again in 1-16 to see what's actually happening in it, and in fact there is a close call where some of the girls have half health by the end. The danger was with the flying units that attack fast. But Black Lilith killed them via counter attack. If Black Lilith didn't have counter attacking (or protection abilities), this team wouldn't have worked for this stage.
>>2036841 >Counter attacking It seems very obvious now that you said that. My only counter attack was a Cyclops Princess, but she was rarely the target. If I had brought a Blind Princess to make her the target, she might have cleaned house a bit easier, especially since she can self rez multiple times when she gets hit too hard. I only even brought her since there's a 3x3 both stages and I wanted to get as much damage on as possible, and didn't think about the retaliation she could do.
>>2036824 Most squads (listed in the wiki as well as the compendium page where you can claim tuna for units collected) have at least one designated follow up attacker. Some have more, some units have that with a specific unit. This wiki page can be a useful place to start: https://lastorigin.wiki.gg/wiki/Miscellaneous_Categorisations#Follow_Up_Attack
I have 2 unrelated questions: 1) how many "unique" units like Labiata and ID are there that require SS cores as their only means of linking? 2) what are all the damage types in this game? So far I know there's normal/fire/ice/electric.
>>2036804 It is very annoying right now but I expect it to go away. Like most people I prefer to just level my A and S ranks to 90 to max link them now rather than farm them later.
You guys are makin' me nervous about 6-8. I'm nowhere near there yet, but the plan is to build Mongoose squad plus Eternity? And if I pump ACC into them, I can always switch it for free later, right?
>>2036939 It's not that hard, but it's the first real puzzle boss. Click and hold over enemies (if the game fucking registers it, since it doesn't half the time) and you can see their abilities and buffs/debuffs. Very small details make a very huge difference, and finding out what the game plan should be is difficult at times.
>>2036939 Black Lilith demolishes him pretty sure, but also the regular Mongoose squad would win, it's just about re-attacking. There are WAY harder fights in this game
>>2036953 Damn, what's the odds we get a patch fixing some of these translations issues. I don't expect much, but they could at least fix the broken names
>>2036744 Just did that level. You weren't kidding about the difficulty jump. A fun level though. Wave 2 was a bitch with all the adds getting a round to pummel one of my tanks to death, but my remaining units were able to sweep them, and the boss in wave 3 ended up doing barely any damage before going down. >pictured: the brave fox that had to be scraped off the floor after
>>2036959 I think somebody mentioned they've been asking for them in discord, so they might be having someone go over it. I doubt they'll hotfix it, but maybe it'll be better in the next patch?
>Start doing the chocolate event because I hear there's good drops in there for a newbie >Suddenly the girls just nonchalantly start mentioning AGS in context as if they're the enemy mooks T-that's just a mistranslation and they meant the iron bugs, right? Right?
>>2036985 Yes and no. Most AGS that are still active and/or under the command of Aeda would either defer to a human if they saw one or at least "do no harm". AGS owned by rich quadrillionaires were obviously reprogrammed to do exactly what their owner said, so if they were told to kill anything that approaches the area that's what they're gonna do. Roc's whole story is about that. They're still robots, after all. And most of them aren't that advanced.
>>2036985 They're just security bots. The moment shit started going down, corporations and semi-paranoid millionaires decided that their private security forces should start shooting at anyone and anything unauthorized.
>It costs 70 tuna to get another girl visible on the bridge >That's a lot of tuna >But I do like bullying smol previously-smug girls and flatties Decisions, decisions....
>>2036943 >>2036950 Thanks, sounds like I should get Kahn and level my Lilith. >>2036949 Thanks for the links, surprised there's this many resources for this game given how niche it is
>>2037080 Unfortunately, I don't have Veronica, and don't want to spend upwards of 100 tuna to bully a .png of a smol brat. Plus, i was thinking of having Raven bully her from above.
>>2037088 HOLY IGNIS TITS Jesus Christ if I was the Commander I w ouldn't be able to even order them properly to kill mooks if she was like that in front of me. Is Ignis good gameplaywise?
>>2037096 She's really tanky and can be the sole defender right up front, plus throws out fire damage and has high elemental resists. She's very solid, but doesn't really support the team like some other defenders do. Just stands there, shrugs off hits, applies DoTs and looks good doing it.
>>2037098 >>2037100 Alright reasonable enough I suppose. It sucks cause most of the time I'd have to do some complicate comp it also has a restriction on the amount of hits I can receive though >>2037101 FUARK
Damn, weird drop rates on main story 3-2b. I just did a 3 hour smart farm there because it had a bunch of AGS I was missing and even though I did nearly 300 runs, only 1 S rank Gigantes dropped. That's as rare as an SS on event stages. Even my beloved Seljuq only dropped 5 times despite being an A rank. Do main story stages have lower drops?
>>2037105 Good to know, thanks! That's actually really useful info. Gonna go farm for the Supreme Dinner units I'm missing now that I'm done with the event
>>2036874 Seems affinity gain on smart combat's way better than I expected. LRL jumped from 58 to 72 in one run, now I got he promoted to A and next run will be enough to make her S. Besides gating promotion, what are the mechanical benefits to affinity? Do units get a hidden stat increase if they hit 100? And is there any way to get wedding rings other than paying cash?
>>2037117 You can get rings from events that have currencies you grind for, sometimes. You just buy the ring for like 5000 or whatever it ends up costing if it's in the shop. Having a unit oath'd (or getting their affinity up to 200 by giving them 10 Flowers to uncap it) gives them +1 Buff/Debuff level so it's useful for everyone, but especially supporters
Speaking of which, I didn't realize different bioroids gained different amounts of affection from treats. Highest I've seen was 7 per choco for blind princess.
>>2037097 Daily training doesn't give that much even at higher tiers. You'll be getting more items from farming as well as the event shops (that will be coming).
>>2037121 >You can get rings from events that have currencies you grind for, sometimes. You just buy the ring for like 5000 or whatever it ends up costing if it's in the shop. Rings in event shops? This game is fucking awesome! >>2037133 You guys are getting me stoked for an event exchange. Shame all the permanent ones have been missed by global, though it looks like there's alternate ways to get some things, like the lunchbox from Supreme Dinner is in Sowan's side story or something, I think I saw
>6-8 EX >Gravekeeper requires 10 hits >I can do that. >Hit him, check his numbers, and so on >After a few hits, check the numbers >13 stacks out of 10 >The fuck? >Hit it twice more >It takes damage and resets back to base >Still hits me like it had 15 stacks worth of bonus damage >Kills 3 girls at once >It says it has 12 stacks remaining after that Reset >Come back >It works perfectly normally >Kill it with only mild damage on the defender Man, this game, sometimes...
>Can't do a sperate event or campaign stage with any other squads while smart combat is going on in the background >But can do daily training combat and side story combat without a problem
>>2037101 How many units have these hidden bonus interactions or strips? They're never shown in the L2D preview sites or even ingame until they're actually out on the bridge. The only reason I knew what you mentioned was because someone posted a webm of it ages ago.
>>2037339 It's enough to clear a lot of early-game with her full-screen AoE. Her long-term use is that she plays well with LRL and Blind Princess. Together, they are really good at removing enemy buffs and circumventing otherwise annoying mechanics. If you read her skills, she can remove enemies' ability to counterattack, follow-up attack, and tank for each other.
>>2036939 This is the state of my ragtag-ass team after Turn 1 of round 1, wasn't too bad but granted, I'm all 100s with a pretty strong front line, they did get quite a few attacks in at the start but the shield and covering basically nullified it
Before I do something I regret I want to ask which unit that has no dupes should I full link with SS cores first?
I imagine that it's either one of the support lemonades but which one is stronger or which one has better synergies with other units? Alpha, Beta or Epsilon?
>>2037349 I've seen a fair amount of comps use ID, actually, but I'm not an authority on that. The only thing I know about the lemonades is that Alpha has a skin where she wears Delta's dress and her tits spill out of the top if you tap it https://lo.swaytwig.com/units/PECS_LemonadeAlpha
>>2037344 I'm just really shocked her skill multipliers are that fucking low... And you can't even give her the plus 15% just attack which barely makes her any stronger...
>>2037368 She is a support unit, she is strong and quite cheap on resources so she can't do as much damage as an attacker. She is a good unit with 3x3 AOE for solo early game. After that you need to start looking for other units with smaller AOE, or you can use supports to debuff enemies and buff allies.
>Trying to get a good smart combat time on stage >Last two battles end with searching for B-rank bioroids three times >The cutscene afterwards counts towards your time too
>>2037406 You can disable the cutscenes and the skill cut-in too I believe. If you have the pass, they give you 5x speed which greatly helps getting sub 30 second runs.
>>2037430 Is S-Rank and lower gear worth using ever or is it better to just keep the SS-Rank? I'm swimming in the former from all the event farming and I just wanted to make sure that they could be dismantled safely or if they had some use.
>>2037441 You should keep some dupes for base, exploration, etc. You can go for whichever units you want. None of the others are the same kind of must-haves, but Hirume doesn't have a permanent way to farm her right now so she's the completionist's choice.
Not gonna lie. After all the boobflation and increasingly lewd skins AL has now, Last Origin doesn't feel as special anymore as it did when it came out originally
>>2037442 I keep 5 of every 'type' on standby. So, if I have 4 SS versions of a piece of gear, I keep 1 S there, in case I really need to shuffle some stats around.
Is executioner bugged or something? Doing the alterium mine thing and fighting the guy rn, but no matter how many times I hit the bastard he doesn't take the fixed damage he is supposed to when hit 5+ times, he only did it once. The team I'm using is LRL, CP, BP, Aurora and Cerestia.
>>2037527 I think his attacks reset the stacks. So you have to hit him 5+ times between his turns. He went down like he should for me. Someone else did complain about weird interactions with his buffs too, but retrying the level fixed that.
>>2037527 Yeah I think Executioner is just legit bugged. Even before Global I remember doing fights where he just never fucking procs his damage effect. There's probably "something" that fucks it up. But hell if I know.
>>2037509 I wonder about money do spending on global give a share to the korean devs or is everything going to vfun, still waiting to see if I buy the monthly and BP
>>2037542 Oh shit well then I will get it once the BP resets, wish they could draw instead of using AI for the pussy though I want diversity with innies and outies not the same shit on everyone, but they will get my 20 dollars
>>2037546 Tbf the AI pussy thing looks like it was a rushed job to have some units to sell those traces. They will probably fix those down the line if the game is still alive and they receive enough feedback. The nude ones that they did completely from scratch are decent enough imo.
>>2037529 I know, that's exactly what I have been doing, but for whatever reason he will often refuse to give himself the buff and its stacks, and then whatever stacks he had simply vanish despite him not getting a turn. >>2037531 Tried it a third time and he procced it enough times that I'm pretty sure one more procc would kill it, but now he's back to refusing to procc his stacks.
>>2037527 same thing was happening to me, LRL gains buff block on crit with axe of darkness at ss rank which blocks the stacks since they count as a buff. as soon as i switched to only using her other attack it solved the issue.
>>2037683 Buy 2 squad sortie pod for 70 tuna each (NOT THE PRESET). Buy some unit waiting room expansion so you can have more units. The rest you can wait a bit more before buying
>>2037718 There's AP and speed SPD = AP per round. 10 AP = you move. You have more AP? You move first. Still have 10 AP after 1 attack? Attack again. 20 AP max. 2 actives max per round.
It is freaking me out watching my resources dwindle each day, operating at a loss. Is it really a bad idea to buy those resource generators for the base? If I stop to resource farm, everything grinds to a halt; no leveling, no unit dupe farming. Speaking of leveling, holy shit you guys weren't kidding when you said the April Fool's event had much better exp gain. After 12 hours of 37 second runs, four unlinked B ranks I'm raising to max to stick in my base forever, they are only level 96. So this is gonna take 15 hours, maybe more? How am I supposed to level these SS ranks to 100 and their skills to 10 so I can use them for the content my Cyclops can't solo? I've got several I gotta do if I hope to pass 6-8 or 7-8 and that'll nuke my dwindling resources even further. It'll take days to level even 1, and if I sortie more than 1, the cost gets nuts. Should I just give up on farming for a few days and run solo LRL in...was it Ouroboros 2-1B? Or I guess Drone 08 because it's nutrients I'm lowest on. Is pic related the best spots, because I'm not seeing 2-1B here. I must be playing the game wrong, you guys have all these strong teams going super deep in the story, I feel like I'm floundering and wasting my time/resources.
>>2037770 That's for Easy? Nice, thanks I was just about to post, I answered my own question: at Normal 1-11, it doubles from +1/hour to +2/hour. I noticed all the stuff in the shop that costs alterium wants hundreds and thousands of the stuff, I can only imagine how deep we have to go to make enough to clear out monthly exchanges. I'm getting FOMO from not going hard on this mode, but idk how far Cyclops Princess and Eternity (my only 2 leveled/skill maxed SS ranks) can get me.
Speaking of, how should I allocate Eternity's stat points? She's been missing some targets with her aoe, but people have been pointing out enemy evasion climbs higher and higher, so idk how much accuracy to give her.
>>2037735 Notice that Sanctum of Change gives a bunch of resources (1k a pop?) on first clear. I went down to ~100k a couple days ago and, between doing a bit of farming with LRL and clearing some sanctum, I'm at 300k now. The XP curve seems especially steep as you approach 100. I haven't bothered leveling anyone past the 90 they need to full-sync and I'm pushing story and sanctum fine. I'm sure I'll eventually want lvl 100 and maxed skills, but the gains from those last levels don't seem as important. The reason people recommend Rioboros 2-1B (Slepnir stage) is because it's a stage that's easy to farm right now. Other versions have more permanent events and better units so they have access to better farming spots.
Is Sortie Reduction the best option after a full link? Because holy shit, I love Hachiko but she's eating all my pills (nutrion) and I dont know how to gain more other than dismantling. I also dont know of any other way to level my new units other than smart farming
>>2037774 Thanks, didn't realize I could offset things by running Sanctum of Change. I guess I'm feeling kinda aimless and overwhelmed since I finished the April Fool's event. I didn't realize how good it was. I think I need to pick a team and work on them so I can clear content. I've only done ch3 in the main story, I'm way behind. I was trying to do Supreme Dinner and I had to retreat from the first EX stage because there's a flying support enemy that acts first and gives the enemy team a barrier that soaks a certain number of hits each round, so I guess I need to work on some sort of Sowan/Mongoose/Re-Attack team as that'll help my clear 6-8 when I get there anyway. Been looking at this guy's >>2036818 team but I don't have Kahn. The japanese beginner's guide says to use the following formation: >blank, blank, blank >Miho, Hongryeon, Eternity >Starfish, blank, Steel Draco I gotta pick something and start working on it. Or should I use the LRL, CP, BP, Cerestria, Aurora (no ID yet) team? I get really bad analysis paralysis and this game offers so many choices.
>>2037783 I don't think sortie reduction is worth it. Anything that demands a sync'd unit is going to be more or less a one-and-done deal, the rest can be smart farmed with lv.1 shitters.
>>2037783 i do wonder too what would be best to pick. Like i got Miho's special equipment and also full linked her. Leaning towards skill power, but no idea what intersection is or if +hit would help her more.
>>2037784 Just pick whichever has the girls you like more. It doesn't seem to be a big deal (yet). For example, I've been experimenting with pic because I wanted to use some Companions and I could build it solely off units from the event. It might not be optimal, and I'm fully expecting to have to abandon it eventually, but it has served me decently (with some adjustments to tackle specific mechanics better).
>Got an auto-battle running in the background >Glance over to see how it's faring >Sowen does her V attack backwards and hits at the opposite angle >Instead of making a < shape like she always does, attacking one in the front and two in the middle, Sowen attacked in a > shape, killing two in the front row and one in the middle. Wait, are you able to switch the angles of the area of effect attacks? Since when? How?
>>2037784 NTA but I want to share my opinion. The base resource generators are not a good investment. I don't really know how much you recover per minute but at level 10 you only get 13.25% more. Multiply this by 3 you get 40% more recovery. Let's say you get 50 resources every 4 minutes. That's 70 resources every 4 minutes with the bonus. This is not enough for 1 stage if you use a lot of bioroids. Now take into consideration cost of equipment, eventual deaths, failures, retries and most importantly the cap at around 50-60k. Do you see how using 9 slots in your base for this shit is just not worth it?
Your best option is to keep doing research and unlock precision disassembling for more resources when you disassemble units. You can also get the room with bonus equipment disassembling resources, the room with decrease cost in upgrading equipment too. This is how people get tons of resources later in the game.
Also you can try doing exploration in the story. Here is a link with a table for resources per minute for all levels in the story. https://seesaawiki.jp/lastorigin/d/%bb%f1%b8%bb%c3%b5%ba%f7%b8%fa%ce%a8%b0%ec%cd%f7 You don't have to go very far. 6-5 and 6-2 give 6.7 and 6.4 resources per minute. With 4 squads you get doing resource exploration you get 26.8 resources per minute doing nothing.
As for team building you can try running Eternity + a broken unit. The best partner for Eternity is Leona because if you give grand gru chocolate to Eternity she can attack quite fast before the enemies, then you can use speed chips so Leona will use Active 2 right after Eternity and then fix her AP for the next turn. Eternity will attack twice before the enemies and clear the room. A 0 link Eternity isn't very strong but she is cheaper than using 5 SS units. This is just another cheap option with units that were given to us FOR A REASON. They gave us them so we new players have options to skip most of the mid game stages.
>>2037773 You do get a certain amount every single victory, and you can get that from multiple difficulties. Let's say you do all of area 1, so 60 stages. That's roughly 1600 (20 for some, 25 for others), and then you can do that multiple times since there are more difficulties. Admittedly, some of the levels are fucking hard, so you might not get them, but you can still get 3000 from auto-battling your way through most of them. Provided you don't think you can buy every items every month in a gacha game, you'll be okay with rationing them for a while.
The real issue is the bars. The bars are a nightmare to get any decent number of.
>>2037825 Wait, my math is bad and someone of 4chan will make fun of me. The first 20 levels give 20, then the next 20 give 25, and the last 20 gives 30. That everages out to 25 per level. You get 1500 per full clear.
>>2037816 >The base resource generators are not a good investment. Thanks for the numbers, that makes a lot of sense and I won't be building resource generators based on your breakdown. >Your best option is to keep doing research and unlock precision disassembling for more resources when you disassemble units. You can also get the room with bonus equipment disassembling resources, the room with decrease cost in upgrading equipment too. This is how people get tons of resources later in the game. Been doing that, hasn't helped yet but I'm sure when I finally have everyone leveled and I just solo farm, it'll start paying off. >Also you can try doing exploration in the story. Here is a link with a table for resources per minute for all levels in the story. Thanks for the link! I love that it's sortable by which gives the most resources. Idk when I'm gonna have time to push more story, but it looks like hitting up chapter 6 is the play. I'm all messed up on my explorations. I just grabbed some ch1 and ch2 ones so I could get the dailies and weeklies for it done, but I want to raise 4 squads of 5 B ranks dupes to 100 so I can put them in any exploration as I need. I got the 20 dupes farmed and locked, but raising their level is taking forever, it could be more than a week before I have them set up properly. >The best partner for Eternity is Leona This is huge for me because I just farmed 6 Leona (5 in the last run!) from Supreme Dinner yesterday. I have the Grand Gru Chocolate, I'll have to check if I have any speed chips. How should I assign points for Eternity and Leona? >>2037828 >You get 1500 per full clear. Nice, thanks
>>2037847 Some units get bonuses for having lower health percentages. This is a way to have them start there. It's a really strange way of framing the mechanic. It confuses a lot of people.
>>2037837 Eternity should have 100% crit. Leona buffs attack and accuracy so you should swap accuracy and attack as needed for each level. Leona doesn't really need stats, she just has to use active 2. I use 2 beta move chips at 0 upgrade. This is enough for her to play right after Eternity using grandu gru chocolate. If you don't 2 beta move you can use normal ones but you might need to upgrade them a little bit so she can play in the same turn as Eternity. Just make sure not to increase too much or she will play before Eternity and it will ruin the strategy.
>>2037920 Are you just talking about the ones that drop from the event, or are you taking of advantage of the boosted exp from the event to level everyone you get from main story and past events too? >>2037916 Sadly, this event has no exchange, not even on other servers.
>>2037930 Damn, that's the smart play. It'll cost me a lot of resources, but I should try to do the same. Only one week left and then it'll be hell to level anyone.
>>2037928 Sowan is the queen of anti nullify, if you are asking about the last stage with the nullify guy. For a team that attacks several times it's better to not use heavy units. Usually light units are fast but air units are even faster. Legacy of Rioboros has a lot of fast units like Sleipnir, Khan, May of Doom, Charlotte. You can get a nice duo of Charlotte and Sowan for rapid attacks and follow ups.
>>2037966 Exchange shop, soldier gear. Buy everything, at least one of each. Improved output enhancement circuit is good for heavy units, high output generator is kinda like grand gru chocolate, improved nitro for aerial units, improved defense field, improved air-type, output limit release for robots, long range scope for enemies with a lot of evasion etc
Am I supposed to hit this guy SIXTEEN FUCKING TIMES and then FIVE MORE all before he takes ONE action? I thought I just had to hit him but he straight up isn't getting stacks even if ai hit him 8 times between his turns.
>>2037920 Same, was a bit of a pain in some cases, but it's been kind of fun anyway (found it funny that Hirume, Poi and CP took forever to get, meanwhile Lilith showed up one at a time per smart combat, heh). Almost done with it though, so I will have to continue proggresing story again soon.
I threw together a rentry based on repeated questions from this (and previous/next) thread. If there's any misinfo or something I should add, shout at me. https://rentry.org/lastoriginnewbiefaq
>>2038000 Check that you aren't using LRL's axe attack, I had the same issue earlier and it turned out LRL was blocking his buffs. Thanks to this anon for reminding me of that teeny tiny fact I should have been aware of after checking LRL's skills like a dozen times, seriously thank you... >>2037597
>I had the opportunity to illustrate "Sawame of Dark Tears" for Last Origin. >I illustrated "Sawame of Dark Tears," a character that won an award in the Last Origin public art contest. >She has been implemented in both the Korean and Japanese versions of the game.
>I finished the base skin exactly as it was in the original contest entry, without any changes. >Since the design was already complete at the time of the entry, the developers and I agreed not to make any major changes. >As you can see from the three-view diagram, her butt is completely exposed—she’s not wearing anything. >It shows whenever she moves even a little. >Also, her breasts are huge. They’re probably the biggest in Last Origin. >It’s a common issue with busty characters: when the breasts are that big, they tend to hide the body and clothes, so that part was difficult to draw. >She’s also a big size, standing at 184 cm tall and weighing 114 kg.
>In the initial setting image posted by the official team, there was a mistake in the height and weight listings. At first, it said she was 158.7 cm tall and weighed 49 kg—stats that made me think, “No way!?” >(They did correct it, though.) >But I...! I took this as Aisha’s true intention!! >Those numbers must be for Sawame’s breasts!! >So, I’ve decided to go with a bust size of 158.7 cm and a breast weight of 49 kg for Sawame.
>A new skin is also being released at the same time, and you can get Sawame in a black sailor uniform with the Early Access package. This one features Live2D animations. >This skin features a slit in her long skirt and a "breast curtain" look. >The concept is that she always carries a parasol, and evil spirits’ hands emerge from the shadows.
>I really hope you’ll welcome “Sawame of Dark Tears” into your collection! >Thank you very much! HOLY BASED
>>2037618 >>2037625 Much easier to farm and level up than I remember. I am still in JP but I'm impressed at how many Level 100s I got here. I always had the impression it was harder to do this stuff back there. Even with the smart combat's late addition.
>read ability >"this ability applies Unbuffable" >click on boss >no Unbuffable status >well I guess the boss is immune to that >it's not, the game is just being stupid why didn't the game just tell me that???

Started like 2 days ago myself and honestly am a lil lost.
Should I just try and auto a specific story stage for levels? Is it worth/possible to do the event at all at this point? Is there a certain recipe I should be using for bioroid production right now?
>>2038035 >world -> tactics training room >do all the missions and get the commander books >give 1 commander book to cyclops princess >do the event until the last stage >get 4 stars and set a record time for the last stage >put a B unit in a separate squad and smart farm the last stage until you get 5 copies of cyclops princess >full link her
>>2037990 Thanks! I'm asking about the first EX stage for Supreme Dinner, there's a flying mob in the last wave that puts a nullify field on every enemy, I think you need to do more than 3 hits to break it each round. >You can get a nice duo of Charlotte and Sowan for rapid attacks and follow ups. Ah, nice! I'm looking forward to Charlotte, she's voiced by Yui Horie iirc. Glad to hear Rioboros/Ouroboros has those units, Kahn and Sleipnir seem pretty important. I'll head over there if I ever get the free time this week, mostly I'm shoving units right back into smart farming all day. Great tips about the alterium exchange too, thanks!
>>2038035 What he said >>2038039 Your priority right now above all else is the Cyclops Princess because an AoE that powerful is really good for fast clears to then farm most units at max speed. Following her, Hirume, the dumb fox. She isn't crucial or anything but she has no natural nodes to farm like Cyclops so you'd be at the mercy of events. Then try to farm the others in the Mini Companion april fools event. Such irony the joke event came with all those readily available easy stages.
>>2038034 well you want a stage with good drops if you're not farming a character there's 5-8ex, 6-8ex, and 7-8ex is the big one you can wipe with lemonade gamma and tiamat but before then you can just run the current event, it's decent exp with lots of drops
I'm scrapping all non-SS gear but my gear inventory's still filling at an alarming rate. Do I only need to keep 5 of each SS gear? And 10 of each SS chip?
>>2038061 Thanks, I'll clear some out then. No way I need 11x Auxiliary Energy Pack EX. Unless they add content where I need to sortie and actually use 2 squads and every unit needs one. Eh, I'll go farm more if I ever run into that problem.
How much of a difference does level 100 to level 120 make? Do damage calculations take level into account or does getting to 120 just give you a few extra bonus stat points?
There is a LOT of stuff here you can buy with alterium. Is the stock for each one gonna refill each month, or are these items gonna be replaced with different ones each month? Are there any immediate must buys, like is the super ACC buffing scope something I should grab right now even though I only have 4k alterium?
>did summer event mainly expecting "umi daaa" and fanservice shennanigans >got that, SKK playing dad with Siren, being even awkward and protective about it, sexually harrassed by bioroids trying to corrupt his daughteru, and even surprised by a really cool black robot nigga trying to acomplish its owner's last will damn, this shit had everything, idk what it is with koreans but even tho japs, chinks and gooks do mostly the same scenarios on their games, koreans allways have a "little extra thing" that really makes things for me the game sure shows its age, its fucking dogshit cryptid at times but honestly its not bad at all, too bad about the mtl but im having a blast so far also i want to grab May like a portable onahole and fuck her silly while the other bioroids fight over the leftovers of my cum
>>2038112 It also had some loredrop on their military ranks like Night Angel being a colonel ''but essentially a dog's rank''. It's a reference that animals in real life can get those ranks but it's essentially to force people to not touch them as you'd get punished for touching something above your rank and the like. Bioroids are still below people, but they had means to keep a stable army.
>>2038142 What hype? Practically invisible thread and seemingly untested translation aren't helping, but the game is ancient old. There was never going to be a huge explosion of popularity.
>>2038152 2 squad sortie pods (DON'T buy the preset squads PLEASE!!!!!!) so you can run more explorations. You can buy more later if you like to keep some squads ready for pickup. Unit waiting room so you can get more units. Don't hoard B units, these are easy to get and should disassembled for resources.
>>2038153 All characters except story only units drop somewhere, the problem is that the somewhere sometimes is an event we don't have access to yet. That's why it's advised to drop all the dupes and fully link the ones that don't drop in that many events. But these can be farmed from gacha RNG, as long as you pay the resource price
>>2038156 >She can't quite solo the event stages though even when maxed out, can she? she can solo several. SS and S characters from other event stages help a lot. With logins you will also get Celestia, who buffs her hard
A solid core for grinding with minimal resource is
>>2038156 She can solo most. But she will struggle with red nodes that screw her over. Even then it's less about not soloing, and more about losing speed since she has inherent tankyness from revival to kill them after hitting her. Like if a node has 4 fast flying parasytes that outspeed her, even if Cyclops does kill them all and survival to the end, that killed the purpose because she will wase time with 4 counterattacks before wiping everyone else with the AoE
Retard here. Is it possible to transfer data? I started playing a few days ago using my phone and my g account, but didn't really thought much of it. Now I just discovered there is a PC port, but I don't see any info about transferring data. Is it possible or am I fucked? I don't mind much starting over since it's only been a few days but I got a character I liked a lot and I'd like to keep her (Charlotte)
>>2038169 Nyes? I think you can play the censored PC port on a google account, but to access the uncensored one, you have to make the account through VFUN.
>>2038172 I should have explained myself better. Yes, my questions was if it was possible to use my data in my google account to play the uncensored version. But it seems that such things is not possible, what a shame. Thanks tho
>>2038173 Too bad I started playing with my g account, but it's good to know that I can keep going in my phone using the VFUN one >>2038175 Glad to hear that, I really liked her
>>2038228 Her voicelines all change. If you go that skin then you know that Vargr was a spy out of her loyalty to Maria Leoboros. The moment we actually get her to join you, her attitude changes.
I don't really know what i'm doing with upgrade allocation. but does this look about right? should I have dumped a bit into evasion so her counterattack is more risk free?
>>2038307 I don't think there's much of a point in putting anything into her defensives. She shouldn't be getting hit often and her Battle Continuation tanks even that. I'd much rather have those HP/DEF points in Crit and ACU so she hits things and does so harder.
>>2038307 We basically just dump all in enough her Crit reaches 100% (including skills), a reasonable accuracy (that can increase if we are fighting evading enemies) and the rest in ATK She doesn't really need to defend or survive. I don't remember if it's because of the eyepatch but she will hit back and revive each Wave anyway. Rare will be the situations she will actually get killed since she tends to wipe out most enemies before they get a shot at her. IF you are fighting a group of enemies either fast enough to hit her or tanky enough to survive and kill her, you'd be meant to actually teambuild for her, if not use another team outright.
>>2038307 100% crit recommended 90% would be a good compromise, zero points in DEF/HP, she has stacking self revive (3max) on kill and her special item aids on it, ACU is recomended at least 250% so you can hit almost every enemy, rest of points on attack. Here's mine
>>2038324 Passives that give a self buff dont reflect on the status screen, and princess gives herself i think 14(?) crit at level 10. So your crit should only be 86. With a full team of buffs it can be pretty tedious to keep track of everything, so you can sortie to any combat and just long click a unit to see how much crit they have and modify from there.
2 and a half minutes isn't exactly the best smart combat time, but it'll have to do for tonight. >>2038419 I don't have whoever that is behind her. What does Dryad specifically do that kills him that easy? It can't just be big dick damage because he's one of those nullifying assholes.
>>2038462 Dryad is SS for extra damage. Yeah it's big dick damage but there's a secret. The secret is to play before the boss use nullify. You can do that with AP supports. Btw you can use May of Doom so you can do the no light units/no heavy units challenges.
>>2038510 I just realized LRL's version of the outfit looked sexier to me because Cyclops Princess's sprite has her hair covering the edge of the cloth, her shoulders, partially armpits, and collarbone, so it didn't activate my brain's "turtleneck_leotard" neurons.
>>2038518 The global server is the same as the Taiwanese server. The Taiwanese server has been running for about a year now (they had their 1st anniversary in March). I believe it's based on JP server since it seems to be operated by the same subsidiary. As for how far along we are... I have no idea. I even tried to scour through recent patch notes with google translate and didn't have much luck. I don't think we're in the same place as JP, as they have permanent events we don't, and we're definitely not going through them in order since the current one is from 2022 (year 3).
>>2038512 I like the trend of using the green nodes to explore what other girls are doing. Most gacha games only focus on the “rate-up team”. Some in spite of having all the need for a bigger force just shove them in a shelf for reasons. But here they explain that those girls actually are around constantly covering other areas separately.
>>2038609 >Let's all have some beer that Dryad made with golden wheat she grew herself to recreate a festival from the old world, beloved for generations. The soft head and rich nutty flavor is just exceptional!
>>2038639 >Pair it with some special sausages and bread and you'll be more than satisfied. Oh? Unlike her usual self, Dryad seems rather flustered. It's probably since you're enjoying the beer she brewed with all her care and love. Yea...
I really like how varied the faction themes in this game are. It would've been so easy to make everybody just some variety of soldier, but having all these bioroids built for different purposes is a nice bit of variety and fun world building.
>>2038782 buy 3 or 4 sortie (70 tuns) slots so you can explore and smart farm at the same time for comfort, buy an extra preset slot or 2 so you can have a team full of just light, just flying and just heavy/mediun for max starring story stages. and an extra for whatever "main" team you have
>>2038499 >Some anons in the last thread said these are sold in a shop somewhere but I can't seem to find it I think that was me. On the lobby screen, go to Exchange. Then go to the Creation Material tab, and scroll down to the Mass-produced parts pack on the end of the 4th row. That has green chips (operational control parts) in it, and it's easy to clear out 'cause it just costs green modules.
>>2038845 Sadly, no. But at max level (25), it will have an 86% chance to produce 4x Chocolates, a 10% chance to produce 4x Cakes and a 4% chance to produce a bouquet every 6 hours and 40 minutes
Finally maxed my Leona. Now to finish leveling Sowan. Do all the event stages give the exp in the April Fool's event? I'm grinding the first one because it has my fastest time. Speaking of how much exp stages give, is there any way to tell when one gives more, like on a wiki somewhere?
>>2038859 https://lastorigin.wiki.gg/wiki/Mini_Companions%27_Onslaught_~Fierceness_that_Invites_Storm~ Usually on the wiki when you check for events or story stages there is a table with EXP and drops and whatever.
>>2038862 Thanks! Holy shit, yeah, now I can really see why leveling is so much faster in that event. They really need to make it perm so we have a good leveling spot.
>>2038856 >max level (25) You've gotta be shitting me. I'm only at 9 because I need some 20 recipe book materials or something that I have no idea where to even get them
I have genuinely no idea, been trying to follow some advice here. But anyways, I’m commander level 90. Got base sorted from what people said here. I’ve got 6 squads, 4 are just random lv80-90s put together to farm the event exploration stages for resources. 1 is cyclops Princess maxed out for nuke clears and 1 is what I use for Lv10 for smart combat to get them from lv1 to like 80-90 whilst gaining a few resources. I’ve cleared up to Area 4. Research mostly on the left side, trying to rush to get the 150% increase in resources from dismantling biodroids. I seem to be mostly resource generation focused but I’m not really getting that much resources still.
>>2038891 I hope so. It's kind of unclear. Guess we'll find out tomorrow night when the month ends, I'll take some screenshots of the shop to see if anything changes.
So according to this https://lastorigin.wiki.gg/wiki/Events our next event should Orca date contest? But weren't TW players complaining about being too behind hence they got accelerated?
>>2038951 Are you me? I'm lv93, been writing down the advice in this thread and the last. I think I have my base sorted, I currently have equipment upgrade, equipment dismantling, cafeteria, 1x resin, 1x paint, 2x steel and 2x classroom. Not sure if I need to build more rooms, I'm upgrading them 1 level at a time evenly. I also have 6 squads because I realized you need 4 for exploring, 1 for smart farming, but then if you want to do something else like Sanctum, you need a 6th. Mostly just been using my maxed Cyclops Princess too and I'm also into chapter 4 of the main story but I find I don't have time to push story because I'm always smart farming. Research wise I think I'm about the same, recycling seems the most important one, I'm still cucked out of special construction and better dailies because I can't build a third S rank.
Right now my focus is using the April Fool's event for exp grinding. I'm trying to grind 20 B/A rank dupes up to 100 for permanent exploration duty along with one SS that I'll actually use at a time, and once those are done I'll be maxing SS ranks (RIP resources) and also bringing farmable non-SS up to 90 so that they're extra 5 dupes stop clogging up my inventory. People say you want 300 units slots since there's 200+ units, but it's really because new players are gonna be sitting on 6 copies of each unit until they can level them to 90, and leveling seems super slow outside of this one event.
>>2038983 >Does the VFUN APK work? tried that one first and also tried hiding the root, didn't work, the play store one can't even get installed >The VFUN site does have a PC launcher with the game on it. nice, thank you
https://www.orvvit.com/page/last-origin-global/global-service-1-week-celebration Anyone able to read the details of this event? Tried making an account for the dumb gook site but it failed email verification.
>>2039050 It's just an announcement explaining the 5k resource gift we'll be getting more of over the weekend. I like how a mod pinged the entire Dicksword server just for that too.
>>2039051 Aight, good to know we'll be getting some more resources then. I long for the day when mine are in the 8 digits like that one vet who posted a pic here.
>>2039073 Impressive as that would be, what's the point other than getting the screenshot? To my knowledge, there's no bonus related to having a huge stock. You gotta ride that line of poverty, without breaking the bank, to get the most out of it.
Unless you're upgrading, like, two SS items to level 10. Then you're a broke-ass-bitch again, immediately. >Would you like to make five fully-sentient humanoid robot waifus? >Or have 1.5% more crit?
>can level crit to 99.5% >or to 101.5% >lack of crit is punishing 0.5% of the time >or excess crit can be useless 100% of the time >put the point to attack instead am I retarded?
>>2039079 It's kind of sketchy and wibbly-wobbly. They're far enough from humans that the winppoo virus or whatever it's called can't kill them. Still, they're also close enough to humans that apparently they can breed with humans and have babies. But also far enough that they can bench press 1000 pounds for funsies and fly and shoot lightning and shit.
Bioroids get made from a template and download the memories of the original base unit when they're created (meaning every Brownie is the same Brownie upon creation) and when they are disassembled their consciousness rejoins the same "base unit consciousness" and resets back to default. They can be essentially 3d printed as a base form, and then one of the random consciousnesses aboard the Orca's library decides to pop into the base form as the final touch.
It's honestly horrifying on an existential level, but they're programed to think it's normal.
>>2039092 Most of the time that's an overkill anyway. You can easily get 5-10% from a passive and I think Cerestia's active buff has like +35% crit too.
>>2039094 I thought they're unaffected by winppo because their bodies are built of origin dust, which notably has the property of blocking the signal (similar to why our new body is unaffected and how humans were planning to counter it). As far as I understand (though I'm not that deep into the story), bioroids are basically origin dust flesh that's grown around the cybernetics in a big tube. The templates contain some combination of the necessary genetic information (the "seed") to grow a bioroid as well as all the knowledge/memories that define their base personality. The magical girl event even noted that the reason Moonbit was detached from reality was that something went wrong during the hypnosis they undergo while being built and the information about the setting being fiction was missing. She even notes that we could just capture her and re-hypnotise her with the correct data, though she'd lose her old memories in the process.
Of course, this could all be stuff that's changed since.
>>2039079 >>2039094 They are different enough that Jiseok mocks Eve when he gets fed up with her talking about how with her brain ''full of wires'' she doesn't matter. Eve was also subject to Bioroid law and unlike the Commander she wasn't able to issue Orders and the like. There is a line you have cybernetic enhancements and origin dust boost, but there is a point you are a bioroid and not human anymore. It's hard to gauge because back in the first generation their general technology couldn't distinguish bioroids from enhanced humans properly. But bioroids pretty much can be ''hardwired'' into obedience and can be programmed. It's why most of them have to obey the ''no killing law'', the older models than that can disobey it (as they don't have the ''patch'' that was established later) and the illegal models need to have the definitions toyed with.
Basically just implanting someone's brain in a bioroid body doesn't make the person a bioroid. What's inside still counts.
>>2039104 I (>>2039103) figured Eve's situation was more that she's a bioroid built from the template of the original Eve and not a human brain in an artificial body like the Commander. Basically, a bioroid that thinks she's a human. That's why other bioroids, who recognize humans by "brain waves" didn't catch on. The other option would be that, because she's the first, all other bioroids are more or less based on her and what is a bioroid was defined based on her brain. IIRC, when we were in Labiata VR space, Griffon noted that all the Eva projections looked like bioroids, including the one that was supposedly from when she was a human.
What stats should I increase for each class (supporter, attacker, defender)? Currently trying to make some extra adjusments for my LRL-CP-BP team, but I'm a little stumped on what stats to upgrade, I imagine accuracy is fairly important across the board, no?
>>2039133 Ah, I didn't see the (SSS) in brackets down there when I looked at that page. Sorry, I'm visually impaired and retarded. Damn, so they're not farmable.
>>2039141 Attackers want 100% CRIT after buffs, enough ACU to hit the most evasive enemy on the map, and ATK. Tanks want one of EVA, DEF, or HP depending on what and how you want them to tank. Supporters don't usually care. Some can be built as either based on your needs and what you want them to do.
Note that the base class isn't always the same as the role. Like Cyclops Princess is technically a Supporter, but you want to build her like an attacker anyway and you can build Fenrir as either an attacker or tank despite her being a defender.
>>2039141 Supports aren't uniform. Some need ACC, some need ATT, some don't need any specific stats because their passives are the entire reason they're there. You gotta read for Supports. If they don't need to attack, you can dump those stats into survivability.
For attackers, get above 280% accuracy at bare minimum. Some have boosts to their own accuracy in their passives, and only need that much. Others have no boosts, and need at least 300%, if not more. Being able to consistently hit and do damage, of any amount, is generally more important than making big damage numbers. After that, if their abilities get extra bonuses from crits, make sure they can crit fairly often, otherwise put everything else in ATT.
Defenders are either EVA or DEF, and enough ACC to hit things if they need to hit enemies to taunt. Throw in some HP while you're at it, but don't go overboard.
>Also, don't forget you're going to have items to get stats higher, too. So, don't stress yourself too much about not hitting a milestone by a little bit, since that can be fixed with gear. >And read their fucking abilities. Some of them are oddballs and don't adhere to the rest of the game. Khan, for example, is an attacker that needs to dodge tank.
>>2039148 >>2039150 I see, thanks for the information, seems like it was about as I was beginning to suspect after going through some character's kits, but was still way off in several areas, seems like this is going to be something that will take me a good while to get the hang of (especially when I get to characters like Fen and Khan), good thing we got that thing that lets you re-spec units for free (for now at least, anyone knows if after the first month you gotta buy that thing again? Or does it renew itself for free and on its own?). Thanks again for the help.
>>2039094 >Bioroids get made from a template and download the memories of the original base unit when they're created (meaning every Brownie is the same Brownie upon creation) I was wondering how that works, like how would (You) know that the Griffon that is always being tsundere toward you in one cutscene is the same one that you woke up and met at the start of the game, do they even have the same memories like some sort of hivemind, etc. I remember in one event when MC flashbacks to when he made some food for a random Brownie, and then he somehow knows it's the same one when he runs into later. Do all the Brownies have that same memory of when MC launched a whole mission just because he felt bad about that Brownie eating rations? Does that Brownie brag to other Brownies about how she and MC have a special connection?
>>2039169 We actually get to see that here and there: gene seeds. They pick a bioroid and can make a ''backup'' out of them. The reason it takes so long to properly meet Cyclops Princess is because of that. She and Blind Princesses were borderline royalty in the acting industry, whereas others like Johanna and Atalanta were made to kill and be killed. So a Gene Seed was made from Cyclops Princess during the destruction and that is the gene seed we restore. Which is why she kept all her memories. But that isn't always the case. Leanne and Khan are ''upgraded models''. They are rarer because of that. Tomo and Kheshig had abnormal models (the Tomo one is basically called a mutant) that did outstanding results. They upgraded those and then made a new bioroid out of them. The Khan we have from the Medic Kheshig, the Detective Leanne from the Smart Tomo. Also no, not all of them share the same memories but they likely have a similar origin. There is a point we actually see there are multiple Brownies in Orca talking. The Brownie we see in most cutscenes is specifically 2056, who is considered a troublemaker among them. They delve in that with Ourobos as they designed her specifically so they had a bioroid with the collective memories of all of a same set. Ouroboros was tuned among all versions participating in the war so she fully remembered all of the deaths and could learn from them. THAT has all of the memories of everyone involved unlike the others we get that we are restoring separate models.
>>2039169 Not him but since you can link units, and there are lines about how the characters feel being linked, that is likely a hivemind-like function. But it's not related to your question about how to tell between units of the same model. Linking also isn't present in the story. The reason MC was able to recognize that Brownie was probably just because she's recognizable in some way. She can wear slightly different clothing/accessories, do her hair differently, etc. After construction/birth, their lives naturally diverge. The Brownie we know eventually gets pretty skilled later in the story.
>>2039170 So how does that work in cutscenes with girls that show up a lot ? Is it always the same one? How do all the other Constantias and Griffons and LRLs on the Orca feel about one of them having "Main Heroine" energy while the rest of them are just in the background being regular fodder?
>>2039170 >>2039174 Stuff like this is funny to think about. >Oh hey that Night Angel has B-cups, must 2017-chan >Damn that Steel Draco has a fat ass, must be the one I bought the bomber jacket for with my tuna
>>2039173 They were going crazy back then for sure. From what I gather they only started exposing those things around Halloween actually and the koreans point out there were more inconsistencies until then. Those they rewrote some stuff prior to add foreshadowing. >>2039175 Most of the time it's the same one rather than different models that are roaming. We learn from Ouroboros that basically half of Ouroboros' Sky Knights was wiped out and the other half survived the destruction. iirc Griffon, Sleipnir and Harpiya are the three survivors and they had to teach the others when they were restored later (which is why they had some different reactions). Though Sleipnir stayed away from Orca and only joined later. While they don't mention much of the other copies roaming (if any since I'm pretty sure ones like Khan, the Sisterhood and Leanne are all the single copy we got), the bioroids themselves don't have problem sharing the Commander. More on waiting and getting their time with him. At very least the Sisterhood treats a young member dating him as a situation to celebrate.
>>2039169 Beach event features shenanigans of Brownie #2056 specifically. She is constantly referred to as such. Night Angel didn't recognize her by sight. She may or may not be the same one who guards our door or the one that sold info on how to peek into our room while we're having sex with other bioroids. Our Triaina, aka. New Triaina, aka. Neo New Triana is unique since she's pre-fall and basically went rogue to become an adventurer. Pretty much all high-rarity units seem to be unique or at least treated as such in the chapters I've read. One of the story chapters with Aeda(?) even gives our Maria's ID number. Our main characters (Constantia, Justinia, Griffon, LRL, etc.) are all specific units that are part of Squad 21.They're even separated in the unit storage and can't be gotten rid of.
>>2039186 What the hell, that Rampart side story was actually depressing. I thought he was gonna realize the value of having feelings and change his mind on getting the autism chip installed.
I saw some posts talking about using Goltarion since he can revive, but I according to swaytig, Vargr's second attack removes "Battle Continuation". Is that something different from Goltarion's? Is there some kind of mistake here?
So I'm finally done farming enough of the starting april's fool event to get enough copies to full link everyone so I can finally start tackling the story. A question though since I do have to afk a lot, what are some of the most interestings stages to farm other than ouroboros 2-1b for resources? I'm thinking about other S or SS rank good bioroids and where they are available.
>>2039374 Thanks, guess I'll actually forget the main story and try to 4 stars all the events if I'm in front of the computer and smart farm any SS I don't have from event stages when I'm away then, until I have them all. Still, any must have that sticks out?
Is there a way to see the strength of the enemies in a stage before actually entering and fighting them? Just started yesterday and I decided to give the April Fool event a try and got absolutely crushed.
I just finished shoving like 20 chocolate bars down Aurora's throat to get her to 80 affinity. Anyone else who it's important to get their side story unlocked?
>>2039395 The launch rewards are being given out still, I do have her, I'm pretty sure I was just massively underleveled since I was getting oneshot while doing only 1 damage. Some gachas' events have easy 1st stages for newbies to at least get something but each stage ramps up quickly, or multiple difficulties, etc., while some the events slowly get more difficult over time so even long-time players still have a challenge. I couldn't see any way to tell how hard the event was, and even the guide you posted mentions some stages require specific strategies to beat; is the only way to find this info out (without looking up a guide) just to enter the stage and try it?
>>2039407 Thanks, I'll keep this in mind if I get stuck on any stages.
>>2039410 > is the only way to find this info out (without looking up a guide) just to enter the stage and try it? Sadly, yes. But to be quite honest, after you level Cyclops, the only stages that should start giving you problems are the event EX stages and late main story stage where they almost always use some kind of gimmick. The only place where you can see the enemies beforehand is in the Alterium Sanctum.
I'm burning through nutrition like crazy trying to smart combat all of my units to level 90 on the event. All of these damn titcow robot girls having to eat so much...
>>2039379 farm with a goal in mind but you're definitely gonna want tiamat copies from aria 3-1s aria 2-8 for armand dinner event has lots of equip drops to dismantle for research reqs, sowan clear reward, i think that's also where i got max link khan
>>2039169 To simplify what other anon said. >All Bioroids are usually made by models line with exception. >All Bioroids from mass produced models like Brownie, Leprechaun, Fotia, Ignis, worker models, maids model, etc have the same baseline personality and memories. >They aren't a hivemind, once produced each come to experience their own life and cand develop quirks and 'uniqueness'. Most Brownie act the same, but there are exception, view it kind of like a mutation but personality wise.
>>2039421 Thanks Anon, for now the goal is simply to get tuna cans but I'll definitely work toward unlocking and 4 starring the stages you just mentionned.
>>2039499 Fully staffing your base with SS rank dupes is kinda funny if that counts as a reason. Also, smart farming since linking increases deployment cost though that's more on B rank fodder.
>>2039587 Art imitates life. The old rich dude having leverage over a bunch of late-teenage idol girls often ends with him abusing them or getting 'favors.' It's not even a secret at this point in East Asia. At least in Last Origin the commander didn't have to blackmail his idol group, because he's dumber than a box of anime-protagonist-rocks. They just want him because he's the only dick left on the planet.
>>2039175 By the way I just noticed in the cutscene Arsenal boasts about restoring the human race there were at least 3 of the red haired cannoneer bioroids there embarrassed so yeah, there are probably multiple copies making up our armies. We just interact with a specific model
>>2039630 Incorrect. We are repeatedly shown old bioroids fear or hate humans. The first Idol event happens exactly because they want to prove to the general masses the Commander isn’t like the pre-apocalypse sociopaths.
>>2039637 Yes but as far as we know the commanding units we have are the sole ones we could find. Royal Arsenal, Armand, Leona etc. Khan in particular had them make a big deal of finding a Kheshig to restore because theoretically we’d be getting a second Khan for example. There is a good likelihood we didn’t manage to restore or recruit other copies of them.
>>2039638 Bioroids fear humans, but the idol bullshit scenario happens far after the commander proved himself as not an utter shithead. Also he's in a bioroid body after he had to get the metal parasite in him taken care of.
>buy squad present thinking its an extra slot for squads >its not, its actually for presents which I didn't know existed until now >100 tuna wasted oh yeah, I'm bricked
Trying to figure out how much CRIT to give Sowan. Passive 1 gives her 14.5% CRIT, which makes me think I only need to bring her CRIT up to 85.5%. But Passive 2 grants all light allies +7.25% CRIT, and this doubles if she has Sadistic Chef from Passive 1 (which should be always), so it's really 14.5% CRIT. My question is, does Sowan benefit from her own buff to light allies? If so, her base CRIT only needs to be brought up from 10% to 71% but if not, it's gotta be 85.5%
>Getting kind of invested in this Serlock murder mystery event, trying to piece clues together >It was actually all just an excuse to get the bioroids into schoolgirl clothes Well, I guess I can't be too upset, when it got us the gyaru Spriggan outfit...
>>2023791 I wish Swaytwigs lets you download the webm or mp4s of these newer animations and the characters with secret traces. I also wish the gif collection by YasuoQAQ on Ehentai included the animations of her, the other dark skin characters, and secret traces.
>final EX stage of Supreme Dinner >stage clearly says "clear with no incapacitated charactes" >Sowan dies halfway through the six waves >clear stage >4 stars ??? Grateful for this bug, glad the stage only needs to be cleared once as it has no drops
>>2039719 Cool, looks like she does benefit from her buff to allies. That's a total of 29% CRIT from passives on Sowan, so make sure to raise her CRIT no higher than 71% with points, lads!
Help a retard that's being filtered by being dumb and the Google translate localization also not helping in that regard, how do I kill this fucking thing? Is there a unit whose attacks count as multiple hits to reach easily the 5 stacks?
>>2039723 Get you a team that has a lot of Follow-up attack and Re-attack skills. I've been working on rebuilding my Anger of the Horde deck for Global, and it's one of the best for handling gimmicks like this. Quick Camel chases up just about any attack by the team (including her own) with her S1 miniguns or S2 bazooka. It's not very Quick, but it's still satisfying as fuck to watch it work like a well-oiled machine when kitted out.
>>2039723 Each attack is 1 attack. You either need all 5 of your girls waiting until they attack in a row, or bring a supporting unit that attacks when others attack. If you use a low-cost ability, like a 4 cost, you can also save up and attack up to two times per turn. Just make sure to only queue five attacks at a time, or you'll trigger it to have the large damage attack when its turn comes around. Five attack, or none at all. The harder version of it in the EX section requires 10 hits, and it's a royal pain in the dick.
>>2039723 You can use units with follow-up attack. Most of the factions have at least one. A few you should have access to: >Starfish and Miho from Mongoose team tutorial >Sowan from dinner event can follow-up all light allies >Poi from the event has a follow-up attack with all the animal maids and light tanks
>>2039723 I think you have to use fast girls and wait a few times so that they have enough AP stored up to keep just attacking twice every round. Sowan is really good with this since she attacks twice already regularly.
>>2039729 Added to this, it's attacks, not instances of damage. The fire damage over time effect doesn't count as an 'attack' because it wasn't an action.
I need more lore about bioroids, do they need to eat? Do they pee and poo? Do they dream? Do they really need follow any command as long as it comes from a human? Were they happy to be owned when human were around or they prefer to be free?
>>2039759 >Do they eat? Yes. You give them chocolates, and we know that the troops eat rations. >Do they pee and poo? Probably. >Do they dream? They mention having dreams about the commander a couple of times. >Do they need to follow any command as long as it comes from a human? Mostly. There are some things they have built-in blocks to prevent them from doing, like harming humans. This is actually one of the reasons your character being human is important, because they can't be aggressive in the war for survival without a human, though they could still defend themselves. >Were they happy to be owned when humans were around? Very much varies. Some were super happy to serve humans since they were programmed like that, some were just happy to be doing the menial tasks they were designed for and took pride in their skills, and some were more begrudging about it. HOWEVER many of them were also terrified of humans, because they were treated as disposable and were often mistreated. It was not at all uncommon for the less virtuous of humans to literally kill bioroids for fun, and it was completely legal. We hear about murder carnivals and death-fights in the various event side-stories.
>>2039759 >follow any command Depends. Attacking another human is forbidden and only really old or tampered models can do that. But even the later generations of military bioroids should have gotten that hardwired (while the no killing law was passed first there was a period before it was established in full and even that had some models that circumvented that like the Kohei Sisterhood). >Happy Depends on the model since bioroids were borderline a slave race. The few ones that were treated better were seen as pets or tools. Rare were the humans that actually saw and treated them as people. The Maids seem to be of the good opinion happy to serve. Though the ones that worked in harsher conditions have a negative one.
>>2039769 NTA and they don’t delve further but there is straight up something in the brain that determines if you are a bioroid or not. They can detect a human by the brainwaves and bioroids don’t have that signal to them. Eva is a former human and she was subjected to bioroid law. And while modified men or males with bioroid bodies are a thing, a straight up male bioroid is an uncontrollable soldier that could break the law, which is why they banned males from being built.
>>2039822 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zc4aON5db8s&list=PLVzh5XXFyjC5eCuFRRGlk3iC_Ii4GYAXE&index=2 This vid seems to recommend main 2-3B. But I just bought them with the parts pack shown here >>2038945 Now my LRL is SS, maxed, and awesome. Go grab her unique equip from the ch1 ex stages too, if you haven't already.
>>2039859 Been looking through the playlist, looks like it's a step by step on how to start the game and unlock stuff, where to go to grab various units/gear and how to clear stuff up to main story ch13 and various events, all within 12 hours or less. Unfortunately, I'm too autistic to bounce around events out of order too much or skip the cutscenes.
>>2039876 It annoys me that I'm just discovering it now. If I had followed it from the get go, I'd be pretty much caught up, relaxing, instead of having this constant FOMO feeling of a bunch of content I should be clearing hanging over me. Feels like I did things wrong but I guess as long as I got enough copies of everything in the event before it ends, I'm okay.
>>2039883 The only thing you can miss right now is the currently running event and that video series doesn't really do a great job of taking advantage of it. This might be the worst time in the game to push ch13 since there's nothing there and by doing so you're actually missing out on nearly 2x EXP rate per resource spent you could be getting from the event.
So like...most mobiles/gachas release new chars every couple of weeks or a month at worst. We're what, 10 or so days old so far in GL? Have they announced the scheduling for that? Do we just follow JP/KR's? It's weird because we have their newer shit like the popups advertise on the shop, yet we're missing random skins like Dryad's Oktoberfest piss skin.
>>2039886 To add to this: Most modern events give your units 6k EXP per run on an ex stages that are difficult to farm fast. That rate is a little better in historical events, but we don't have yet. Current event gives 10k EXP per run on a normal stage you can clear in less than a minute.
>>2039890 Nothing has been announced but we're in TW server. Assuming things stay on-pace, we should be getting a new event every ~2 weeks. The event order for it is kind of weird. JP wiki even notes that TW has been getting them in a completely different order from any other version and so it's impossible to predict what is coming next. Despite that, our story and units are almost up-to-date with JP.
>>2039890 yeah i heard we have some kind of frankenstein mash of updates and mechanics, i just hope they do proper announcements on twitter instead of forcing us to use their weird forum
>>2039884 Ok I came up with that, but I feel Vanilla is wasted since her buff are only affecting Constantia, I feel like another fire attacker would be better but I have no clue who else is a fire attacker that I don't have yet.
Can someone please fucking explain to me what units count as "medium" in terms of stage clear, the types go light/flying/heavy and I can't see anything that says a unit is medium class. Is flying medium?
That's uh, that's a pretty steep price they're asking considering I only get 2 of these gold nuggets things an hour. I hope S Ranking LRL is worth it. >>2039948 "Medium" is heavy, the translation is just completely fucked right now.
I remember reading the event stories in LO years ago, and for some reason there are times where there is this single character that fades in and out for seemingly no reason. Its almost certainly a bug, but iits so funny to me that it still hasnt been fixed. I read the halloween story yesterday and it happened at least 10 times.
>>2039956 Most actually functional teams can clear all trash nodes just fine. You can pick a faction and use it, and you will be fine. Harder maps rely on gimmicks and usually require a team built with those in mind.
>>2039949 >>2039950 My favourite bit is when the game calls them "medium-heavy types". I think it's in the description of the Anti-Heavy OS iirc Also, to the second guy, you must be doing something wrong if you're trading alterium for blue dust. I had more than enough of each type of dust to bring LRL to SS rank. Have you been doing the dust daily training? Intermediate gives blue dust.
>>2039969 >spoiler Ah, very understandable; congrats! You'll get there eventually, don't worry. You just reminded me, I had a question: are ALL lower rarity characters promotable to SS rank? Or are they still be rolled out in batches?
>>2039977 Most are but there's a few older ones they haven't got around to buffing yet for whatever reason. Gremlin and Miss Safety for example are B ranks but they only go up to A.
>>2039981 >>2039990 >>2039994 Good to know, thanks lads. A shame about Annie, she's great. >>2040001 >Zone 3 holy cow, I'm still at 1-16 and 2 per hour
>>2040002 For Sanctum, I just grind it during smart farm. Most of it is auto-able with the princesses and Invincible Dragon, but the stages get pretty cancerous so you need some answers to gimmicks. I see old guides use LRL/Cerestia but Mercury/Hongryeon has also worked so far.
Saw a pic of the chick with gigantic fucking tits in one of those Black sailor uniforms. Downloaded the game. Is the game censored? Is there a way to get the regular version?
>Progressing through Campaign chapter 6 >There's actually a scene where Constantia worries that (You) won't like Labiata because she had a human master before already >Choosing the option that it does bother you has Constantia immediately assure the player that is Labiata isn't used goods That got a chuckle outta me.
>>2040003 Leona and Aurora are both buffers so no reason to use them both. Also Eternity only protects the unit directly beneath her so she's not doing much in the bottom row. If you're farming older stages you can just use Cyclops Princess by herself if you have her skills maxed or Eternity and Leona if you get Leona's HP under 25%.
>>2040061 It's uncensored through VFUN: https://vfun.valofe.com/library?service_code=lastorigin-gl You need to make your LO account through a VFUN account for that though. Google account versions are always censored.
>>2040107 A kind of boss battle mode where you're given 6 passes each day (failed attempts don't eat up the pass), and succeeding gives you rewards you can exchange for stuff in its associated shop.
Where do you get AI cores? I needing fucking 100 to SS an AGS and I'm like 94 short. I checked the wiki but it doesn't have a page for AI cores and the page where it's referenced only briefly mention missions and exchange shops. I checked the exchange shop and it only has 10 in stock anyway.
>>2040127 >>2040126 To be more precise it resets when it chances to Precision Disassembly Facility. Goes back to a few hours, so you could technically use enough to get there and then use the rest on the really long ones.
>>2040187 The original company really wanted to kill off Last Origin. I don't remember now if the Commander was like that straight away or if it was a larva that encroached him over time. iirc oneof them says she already saw people with modifications like his and one theory is that either Adam or Eve purposely modified him like that to protect him from Hypnos Disease. They didn't finish this subplot yet as I was yet to see anything else on those experiments.
>>2040181 The logistics of this twist don't even make sense. No wonder they retconned it. I've only done like 2 or 3 of the events we have archived in global, but even the ones I've heard were released really early still mention stuff like him patting the animal girls on the head, bioroids sitting on MC's lap, or stabbing him in the neck with needles filled with tea, or, y'know...fucking. How can that be possible if he was actually just a smol insect all along and they were just "looking" at him via his brainwaves?
>>2040211 Pretty much. The connection to Metal Parasytes had to exist as it explains why he understands their language and why Trickster called him a heretic. But having a Metal Parasyte body itself throws everything out of the window because the reason bioroids need the attack order is because Metal Parasytes started imitating human brainwaves to force bioroids into defensive warfare. So not only this opens the body plothole, but also the bigger one that bioroids CAN distinguish metal parasytes in spite of the brainwaves. The current appearance still has its issues, but it's more acceptable with their talk that everyone had cybernetic implants and there were precedents of humans looking like that. >>2040214 There is a deeper irony here that in having an appearance like that he doesn't look like any of his biological relatives
Damn looks like they cannot even give a single day of "work" towards proof reading? all the He Him and the names not being right is kinda sad really hopefully a survey will be given soon or something please
what the fuck is this shit? why do the giga nuke motherfuckers become invuln sometimes after an attack? and why does that fucking dick piercer become literally impossible to hit when saved for last?
>>2040255 I'm pretty sure I've seen the bioroids referred to with male pronouns more than female ones. Not a single ounce of basic proofreading was done at all.
>>2040308 Form Change. Some girls (and robots) can change modes by doing certain things, being in certain rows, or just passing their turn, and then have different skills or their skills have different effects. Phantom, Ullr, Peregrinus, Leona's buff, Invincible Dragon. There's equipment that forces them to wait so you can use Form Change in auto-setups, or you can use Maria.
Are there "breakpoints" that I have to reach in regards to attack, defense evasion, ect that I should be putting my points towards? Is there diminishings on points, and are the +/- chips better than the chips that only +1 stat?
>>2040211 All events do take place after Ch. 6. There is a very obvious shift in the bioroids going from being kinda repulsed by him to wanting to jump his bone right there. If anything, I was surprised by how mild the twist was. My initial guess reading the story was that he was going to be a rotting corpse kept alive by a bunch of machinery by the way they treated commander leading up to it.
>>2040331 I was expecting him to be Adam, in a new body and with no memories, and therefore not being an absolute shithead in this new life. Though I am only on chapter 7, so who knows. I took a break from the story to do events at what seemed like a good break point.
LO's wiki seems to have completely wrong information on unit skills. I mean, I know the translation is fucking AWFUL ingame, but for example: Nick Tracy's last passive ingame: -5% Accuracy & Crit to allies in exchange for +31% dmg taken to enemies Nick Tracy's last passive on the wiki: -5%(-9.5%) Electric Resist to allies +15%(+28.5%) dmg taken to enemies -15% EVA(-28.5%) to all Overheated enemies If SS Tomo present, debuffs from this passive have 999% chance to proc
Like...this isn't even close to a translation issue, that's straight up different. Is there a more accurate place with the skill info/numbers we have so I can just scroll a page instead of click a hundred units' skills?
So Chapter 6...when exactly did we make the choice of what body to have? Or did we? I've been skipping the cutscenes honestly, I hate VN shit and since it doesn't reflect the skins I have for units I have no investment I assumed it wouldn't let me skip the option to choose the commander's new body but I feel like it did
>>2040327 >breakpoints Hit chance = Attacking side's ACC - Receiving side's EVA. If you have excess ACC, it's technically going to waste. Same with EVA. In practice though, it's hard if not impossible to overdo it on EVA and respeccing ACC between every encounter is too annoying so you might as well keep it high. ~300% ACC after buffs seems pretty solid to hit most things. Crit over 100% is also completely useless. >chips Beta Chips (with +/-) are generally better since you usually only care for aggressive or defensive stats for a unit. It's a lot more valuable for a tank to get more defense than it is for her to deal a tiny bit more damage, and an attacker won't care if her defenses are a bit lower if it means she can hit harder.
>>2040347 It's in the post-battle scene after 6-8. This is not recorded anywhere, it's just a bit of flavor. Every time it's brought up you also get dialogue choices that imply a physique. The first time it's brought up in 7-1 or 7-2, one of the options even noted that you can redo the operation, so it is possible for you to have gone from a slim shota to a fat bastard to a buff youth between any given scenes.
>Intersection +1 means Range +1 .Had no idea what it meant because the translation sucks donkey dick >It took me two weeks to figure this out, and now I don't know if I made the right choices on previous units shit shit shit shit SHIT SHIT SHIT
How many respecs do you have with that first month bonus?
>>2040366 You get 30 days of infinite free respecs at the start of every monthly battle pass' free track. It's as close as they could come to removing the currency for re-speccing without actually doing that.
>>2040341 English language wiki was made for KR version. We global is based on JP so that wiki is more accurate: https://seesaawiki.jp/lastorigin/d/%a5%cb%a5%c3%a5%ad%a1%bc%a1%a6%a5%c8%a5%ec%a5%a4%a5%b7%a1%bc Unfortunately, it's a japanese wiki and so an absolute pain to actually navigate.
>>2040366 You can respec at any time for completely free.
>>2040255 The translation is outright incomplete. There is untranslated text and to-do notes all over. I've dabbled in enough of Valofe's other games to be inclined to assume they just don't give a shit because it's a company that exists to squeeze the last few pennies out of already dying games, but apparently LO has been the one game they actually care about and have invested money into improving so I'm hoping they'll keep working on it.
do you think they give a single fuck for the translation and will make strides to fix the glaring issues or is it just fucked and we will just goon while making number go up?
>>2040378 They have apparently asking people to submit those errors on the official discord server, so at least somebody there is aware of it. My guess is that the main reason behind global launch was to raise awareness of the franchise for LO2 release.
>>2040389 Yep. From the wiki: >These are the items that have been removed from the game or their original purposes (replaced by other items or features). You can just scrap them, or exchange them to other items if that option is available. >Link Breaker - Required to release a unit's core links or to reset full link bonus
How many slots (temp or permanent?) should I go for? I read on reddit that for every 1000 unit slots you get +1 hour on the smart battle? I do plan to eventually catch them all if you know what I mean Also how the fuck am I supposed to get sub 50s/1min on stages? The KR guides say to get 30s clears, that seems impossible unless its 1 or 2 waves on the stage
>>2040415 Easiest way to get faster times is with that 5x speed tied to one of the subscriptions (along with +1 hour of smart combat). You can just keep doing auto-battle repeatedly on PC (faster load times) and hope you get no drops to shave it down. There are something like 300 unique units total (including AGS) so you'd need that many slots minimum. You could go for something like 500 slots in the long term and be fine. How many of each slot type you want is up to you. I find having more than maybe 20 temp slots to be kinda useless with the default smart farm times but they are one way to inflate your count if you're looking for that smart farm increase. Equipment slots are arguably more useful, but even with them you don't really need more than maybe 5 copies of the best gear. >pic is on how max smart combat time is determined
>>2040226 What happens after 4 days? I assume whatever exchange it has mentioned by >>2040117 resets its stock. Unless first clear rewards also reset, it's probably not too much FOMO. I'm still stuck on 1-16 Normal of Sanctum, so I doubt I can do Infinite War. Is it a mode you can play during smart combat farm?
>>2040615 The event ending in 4 days means you can't get the rewards from playing it anymore, including the AI cores. It's not exactly based on first clears. Actually I just checked and there are two types of rewards you get from it. One mainly gives you Altite (the event currency), and is based on every clear you do, where you get more based on the score you get in the clear. The other class of rewards gives you misc resources like AI cores and cakes, and is based on total accumulative score, so you also keep getting rewards the more you play, but this one has an end point.
The exchange store for it actually doesn't get reset, it's additive over time. At least for the equipment. I think I remember the stickers do get rotated out, but not at the end of the event.
>I'm still stuck on 1-16 Normal of Sanctum I'm guessing you're not near level 100 so you're probably not going to make it anyway. The easiest stage of the boss isn't too hard.
so apart from LRL what are some other low rarityroids worth promoting in the long run? currently im using robots for Smart Farming since my nutrition is running kinda low but i might as well ask to save myself the eventual affection grind
>>2040373 Every time I've tried that link it gives me a 403 forbidden URL. I thought it was a geoblock but even on a Tokyo VPN server it's still doing it, are you sure that site's still valid?
>>2040634 >I'm guessing you're not near level 100 so you're probably not going to make it anyway. Currently at 97. Got stopped by one of the mobs becoming invincible at critical health unless you use fire. Thinking of going back with Ignis today if I get the time.
Wew, just finished my first tough boss fight: 5-8EX with the "no light units" requirement. Blind Princess and Kunoichi Zero went down, but we did it! This game has some pretty fun fights. I'm a huge fan of bosses with multiple parts that have their own health bars. That's chapter 5 down, now to smart farm the rest of the day.
REMINDER! The month is resetting tonight, at least buy the SS core and Glacias from the shop!
>>2040962 I mean, they obviously used AI to generate some of the nips and lips, they probably will for them eventually. I hope they go back and give EVERYONE the Secret Trace treatment. No more teasing cuck bullshit.
>>2040738 What country are you in and what browser? None I try work, and they must be able to spot VPNs. Funnily enough, Gemini can see past it and gave me the info, at least.
>>2040736 Anon who posted that here: I have no VPN or anything set up and the site works perfectly fine. I've been using that wiki to look stuff up all along.
>>2041115 Different anticheats dont like each other, nothing new there. the PC client for LO is pretty shit though, just emulate instead and you can run Nikke at the same time.
>>2041117 I can open both as long as Nikke is first, but it's quite a pain since I also have to turn off my VPN for VFUN to even start. I really wanted to avoid messing with emulators ever again but avoiding this and adding hotkey functionality for skills would be super nice. Are people using Mumu nowadays?
>>2041124 ldplayer and bluestacks are the ones I see mentioned the most.
I'm just running it on bluestacks for the time being, since the pc client is a piece of shit and wont let me play in windowed mode on a different resolution than my main monitor's.
Well darn, the page of the exchange that has Glacias and Empress didn't reset or restock (I bought 1 of 2 energy shields yesterday to test) each month. Was hoping there'd be a different random SS in rotation each month.
>Oh cool >Another month of being able to change all my girls' stats and link rewards >I'll just give them a once over >All 140 of them Jesus, I only got through my SS and S girls and my eyes are already screaming at me! Even in full screen, all that ability explanation text is so damn small...
>>2041131 >She turns out to be Night Angel from another timeline >Night Angel is so flippin' excited to grow up and look sexy >The new girl explains that it's a separate timeline, not the future >"Looks like you're going to be flat forever. Gosh, I couldn't imaging having to live with THAT!" >She then ojou-sama laughs at the flat child - "Oh-hohoho!"ing as she flies away I know alternate timelines are a monkey's paw waiting to curl, but it would be so fucking funny.
Fuck how do I read story again it asked me about my appearance but I wanted to know more about the history and it didn't ask me about my appearance again ACK
I haven't played this game in years, but I remember anons talking about an implied orgy scene with the elves, including Celestia, but I only found a "sleep" scene with Forest Maker and Forest Ranger on Stage Ev3-2S during the Aria of the Fairy Village Event. Is the orgy with Celestia a real story event or have I been misremembering?
Story reminds me of the ship of theseus manga, we can have as many girls as we want but if one dies then it is just a reset for the next one Nikke really took a lot of ideas from here
I have smart battled 3-B of the April Fools event at least a thousand times and the only copy of Poi I've gotten is the one that dropped when I manually played to lower my smart time down in the first place.
>>2041220 iirc the game was really popular years back so it makes sense it influenced other korean games. >>2041219 I dunno about Cerestia but I think there was one with Elf, Dark Elf and Fenrir in one of their sidestories.
is there like a timeline or some shit i can use to follow the story along with events? like zone 6 has the whole "that" and yeah events should start after it, but for B stages the entire Doombringer squad just showed up there and i havent met them prior, and zone 7 just randomly threw Phantom and the Arsenal squad on my face(that shit was really funny btw) from one node to another and i literally had no prior interaction with them up to that point
>>2041237 I have spent upwards of 500,000 materials of each type grinding that damn event. I just need THREE MORE FUCKING FENRIRS and I have gotten everything! I am not leaving to go back to other events until this one has completely been made my bitch! Mama didn't raise no quitter, even when I should not give a damn about succeeding, when I can already have 5 good comps that Fenrir wouldn't fit into!
>>2041294 Correct >>2041297 Labiata (un-replicable Prototype) Invincible Dragon (best they could to make something comparable to Labiata. As the specs couldn't be replicated, they instead focused in tactical skills) Lemonade series (PECS' attempt, this time focusing on administration and more technical capabilities) They did so to keep the lore and gameplay interchangeable. You can't even clone one of them as you'd burn a crapton of resources and the result would still be inferior in one way or another.
Those are all the ones I remember. Although we only manage to restore a single Cyclops Princess or only find a single Shiden, those were still bioroids templates so you can get dupes of them.
>>2041302 With comprehensible templates* Maria Leoboros that was super obsessed with getting her evenge on Angel Leoboros couldn't replicate Dragon in spite of stealing the blueprints for example. >>2041304 Basically so. You don't really need to worry so much about cores since we get some of those every event but yes. Fundamentally, a new bioroid debuting in an event won't have a farming node so soon either, so since it's hard to imagine you'd ''roll'' multiple copies on the Workshop, using cores in them is an option too.
Nicky Tracy is also a bitch to get dupes of. Apparently she doesn't drop til Chapter 13 and every single event she's part of, doesn't exist in GL's archives yet. I really don't wanna waste my Cores but she's still my favorite unit because of her Exhibitionist skin having a flash attack
How many resources does it take to get an S-Rank unit? I've only been doing like, 19 at most and I barely get A Ranks but I also don't wanna burn a ton of resources if I don't know the relative % chances. I have to make 3 to get the next research tier is all, not because I want to gamble by crafting units.
>>2041185 I fear the day I won't be able to keep coasting with my LRL/CP/BP team anymore, there's so much skill text, ranges, roles, etc to keep track of, that I honestly don't know how I will manage when the time comes for me to start teambuilding seriously (been trying a little already, to no good results so far). Doesn't help that only SS-Ranks have their full kits unlocked, and I can only see the passive they get in the next immediate rank, so I'm likely gonna have to look up guides and wikis to check what units are worth promoting and what their new passives do.
>>2041322 Did you get through 5-8 with that? I stopped progressing on main story because of that dumb stage Now I'm just smart farming accumulating resources and leveling units I already have Tried farming other SSs on the permanent events but the drop rate is ass
>>2041129 Have you just press Enter on the PC version? It lets you switch between full-screen, maximized, and minimized windows. But yeah, it sucks. I remember the PC version for the Japanese servers let you resize the window freely.
>>2041342 Yeah, tbf, I have CP and LRL full linked (and the latter fully promoted, though her passives are at lvl8) and have them with Cerestia and Aurora in the team alongside BP.
I finally got to 6-8, beat Executioner on the first try but it was tricky as I was going for 4 stars so no light units allowed. My fully linked Frigga from the April Fool's event did a great job tanking. How hard are the ch6 EX stages? Is it something I could feasibly do now, or should I press on to ch7 to get Invincible Dragon first? >>2041644 Hell yeah, these are the best thing in the research tree imo. I'll get that last one tomorrow. >>2041317 Pic related, you wanna spend at least 2000 resources total to maximize your chances. It's all down to luck. Friend of mine was done last week since he got 2 S ranks back to back, I only got my 3rd one built yesterday and I've been playing global since day 1.
>>2041842 Nta, but I used that team to beat him (just with Aurora instead of ID), just make sure LRL doesn't use her axe since it will block any buffs executioner tries to give itself.
>>2041844 >just make sure LRL doesn't use her axe since it will block any buffs executioner tries to give itself. omgbruh i'm fuckin retarded ay ty anon
For anyone struggling with 10-3 and 10-4, I used this build and it worked really well. Way simpler than the Goltarion builds. It works by simply just reducing Vargr's attack range and having long range attackers in your backline. https://arca.live/b/lastorigin/125458561 I didn't even get Watcher to SS. 10-3 is easily cleared fast before Vargr even attacks. 10-4 also goes by relatively fast, though my Hachiko died during it. I got Watcher by farming one of the nodes that drops it.
>>2041951 I need to burn 150k power for the last one before I get the dismantle bonuses And I'm doing 50s because my units/team still suck to do 30s Dont even know what stage to get 30s in.
What's the best stage to farm equipment to dismantle? Trying to unlock the last part of the disassembly research but I'm still needing to dismantle 300+ equipments. Currently using April Fools' event for that, but dunno if there's a better option.
>>2041972 Nice Mongoose Squad! Have you promoted them? Now that my LRL is SS rank, I'm wondering what I should use my origin dust on next. I like Steel Draco, so maybe the Mongoose gals? Or maybe I should use it to start expanding my Cyclops Princess' level cap to 120?
>>2041894 just for another option, i copied this guys setup and it worked. miho obviously has to be properly built but you can get away with having lv1 units for the other ones https://youtu.be/LRF_LLz0rHA
Anyone here clear 13-15 yet? What did you do? The weaker version of that guy I was able to kill with my main team before his DoT killed my guys, but this version with the extras that tag long with him just push beyond the limit. Since he's weaker to fire I'm assuming the point is to bring a strong fire unit with ice resistance, is that correct? Or is there a way to cancel the DoT?
>>2042027 Not fully, they are at S rank but working quite fine for most content. I was planning to focus some resources on LRL but Im holding onto some in case my mongoose squad needs further investment
>>2041947 max research and some resource rewards from sanctum gets you there i farmed 7-8ex for exp and then 7-8 when afk for general resources, it's all in the playlist
>>2042144 Right here in the general shop >>2042145 Yeah, I thought it over and just decided not to. What changed my mind was seeing that they won't even let me (hypothetically) get the Labiata package, I guess because I got her from 6-8 already. Lame. I'll power through to ID naturally and then buy that sailor skin instead.
>>2042184 LRL (at least S rank), Invincible Dragon, and Celestia. They pretty much clear all gimmicks and buffs and force the stage to be a unga battle. On a side note, watching LRL try her weak little chuuni versions of Cyclop's attacks and then Cyclops follows up by showing her how it's really done is insanely adorable.
>>2042262 I prefer the robot gals in their natural state, like Arachne's literal dumptruck ass. My gal Seljuq's skin gets a pass because she keeps her robot body (and even gets some sexy upgrades to it). Granted, I am a bit of a mechasexual. This game really has it all
