Doesn't boost summons, doesn't boost AoE attacks including things like Cloud's DQ sword or Seph's 6 month sword which get a boost in single-target situations. I hurts SO MUCH knowing how much potential is wasted in this game and that it will eos soon.

I've been playing ff7 new threat mod recently and man it's such fun. I don't agree with some skipped stuff but people seem to be bored of the midgar part a lot so I can forgive it. It changes some boss encounters and sometimes the plot (route B btw). It's really cool honestly and way more fun to play than the original since you get tons of materia early to play around with. Highly recommended if you have an itch to replay. It could be one of those alternative timelines from the compilation. It's very well done.

Since the FF7 pc Port got relaunched on steam, I've been playing through that again and I was wondering if the Remake is worth playing solely for the combat because I hate the remake story changes

The only thing I don't get about them right now is why the guild joke weapons specifically have an entirely separate color of customization toolbox that doesn't seem to come from anywhere yet.

I've been keeping 36k gems (the minimum needed to guarantee an outfit, assuming the worst possible luck), in reserve ever since he was released just for that purpose.

Aerith's new costume is cool, but the abilities on it don't seem that useful IMO compared to OG Sephiroth's. He literally got that niggermelter 5000 lightning ability

I understand the what and why of powercreep. I will never understand why EC, which at launch set itself up to slow roll powercreep by having you switch party roles around and do stuff like make Cloud heal while Aerith does damage, decides to just creep power by leaps and bounds 3-4 times a year.

Also, considering however nothing about new characters has been datamined, i wonder how they're even gonna present whatever part of the story we may see. Which is hilarious since Cissnei really has already the potential for alternate outfits like people everyone autistically screeched.
