>>1994931 from the stuff they've been showing since last year it seems that the game has a bit of fanservice but 0 panchira the game is going to speedrun EoS
>>1995288 The game's JP servers were unintentionally opened around 10am Jap time for at least 30 minutes, allowing players who opened the game during that period full access to the game. That's probably what that guy's talking about.
>>1995255 I see what you mean. My phone's getting almost as hot as when I play Warframe, despite this game looking 100x less intensive. I also had frame drops during the fucking gacha roll animation, of all things. Oddly the actual game bit runs fine. Wonder what they fucked up there
Game is literally unplayable as it is now. The current errors are: >Can't downlaod resources >Black screen when opening the game >Slow and overheating on the intro >Some countries are region locked >The game is still with japanese name only in the playstore >Maintanance until 17
They're gonna need to do a lot of overwork to fix the bad reputation that this caused, hope they give free stuff
everything suprisingly works fine on my side, and the "two overseas countries is global" is a publisher thing i get worse times with 4chin's shitty cloudflare cucking
There's something definitely wrong with the game performance. It's a very basic 2D game, yet it drains the battery as fast as a full 3D game and the animations still look a bit choppy.
I don't know how a game like this can run so badly. At this rate, it will either be canceled and relaunched later or it will EoS in record time. It's a shame, Saffron and Amaryllis are pure sex.
You unlock the rythm mode when you reach stage 80 but it's bugged and when you claim rewards for getting combos and ranks in each song you get nothing instead... give me my 30000 royal fromage sayori!
>>1995648 EN1 should be kinda based, but the whole idea of different worlds that will be merged when the miniscule playerbase drops even lower sounds like a rugpull or at least would since such games tend to live longer than good ones
I have no idea how to build a team I briefly saw during one of the loading comics that nekos are actually split into different "classes" of sorts, but it went by too fast and there doesn't seem to be any other menu in-game that explains what the classes are.
>>1995831 Is there like guide list on which cat is good at what? The UI is so clunky that I only know my Vanilla is getting MVP for 70% pts but her ult triggers near the round end.
So I just dump gold on her to lvl up. Seems like I need another copy to fully awaken her and unlock the special animation?
>>1995828 >>1995836 there's also robots that they have to intentionally limit when they are around humans, and that was just the first chapter i didn't play vol 4 and after tho, if something like this was there
>>1995919 The battery points? just from passive farm from la soleil, remember to change the catgirls from there every now and then because they buff the amount produced but stop when tired.
>>1996587 I've been trying to run the game for the last few days, Today I updated Mumuplayer to the latest version V5.25.0 and now I'm able to play it.
Game is kinda laggy regardless of your settings and it's annoying that you have to switch around landscape mode to the VN parts and Portrait mode for the rest of the game
Game went on maintenance, By the way, on the trailers we could see some of the neko's pantsu but in game the pantsu gets offscreen when their skill animation hits, is there any way to see the full animation with something like having a higher bond level or is the pantsu impossible to see?
Speaking of characters, is there already some kind of tier list? I picked Vanilla from the first 10 rolls and I got a dupe of her in using some other 10 tickets
I dont want to add a third gacha to my roster especially considering im a gameplayfag and i also only play on pc but i feel like i would be a massive poser if i didnt read the story considering ive been a nekonigger for 10 years
>>1995836 if I was a benevolent ai and I took over human civilization the first thing I would do is obsolete women to accelerate development
>event story is strictly timegated >if you skipped 2h of the first day you have to buy extra attempts game's not gonna live long if everything will be as is now
I'm getting fed up at how clunky the UI is, and going from one point to the other is slow as molasses. I'm not sure if it's an emulator issue but i'm getting really annoyed
it really sucks how one of the last good eroge devs are torpedoing themselves like this watching lose implode after they tried selling a japan only all ages vn was hard enough to watch
is it worth throwing gem at the event stages just to get more event points for shop exchange? Pretty dumb to limit daily especially for those rushing last minute.
Anyone know any good comps for each color? Best I have rn is Pop w/ 4 5-stars (Fraise, Ak dut, the blonde chick I forgot her name, and Palmyra) and a 3-star on cook filler duty.
>>1996719 >>1997097 >>1997398 I found this doc in a random server, take it with a grain of salt tho as there's no realiable tier lists as far as I know https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Nx_sulJVx-sxuNhsfedlSgcL6QNjPB1t-v5uYOzeNog/edit?gid=2015992205#gid=2015992205
I curse the vulture who was close to sayori and convinced her to enter and proceed with this project. With how incompetent and laughably greedy this dev team is, it's clear they just wanted to use sayori and didn't care to make a quality nekopara product and didn't even care if it would bring more eyes to the franchise. This shit might as well EoS before year ends at this rate. I just feel so sorry for sayori, it looks like she genuinely wants it to succeed and she must have spent ungodly amount of hours drawing all the artwork... This game is shitty even for Japanese gacha standards, which are already pathetically low compared to what gacha are popular nowadays.
>>1996838 > paid 9800 > + free 19.600 Holy shit, they don't even give extra paid gems for first purchase? I thought that's become a standard years ago.
See picrel, orange is first purchase bonus doubling up the amount of paid gems you get, green is subsequent purchases giving small amount of extra paid gems. THAT is how things should look in modern times.
>>1998153 Of course she does but if the game was better and more popular, she could have gotten way more while reaching more fans and delivering more satisfying content to them which is what she truly cares about, much mroe than money itself, she can earn money in hundred different ways with her skills. Also her working on this game means she wasn't working on other things meaning less NekoPara content for people who don't play this game. Use your brain you retarded irony poisoned zoomie. Things are complex, don't just go around dismissing shit with mindless oneliners. They don't make you look clever, they expose your mediocre thinking.
>>1998137 I think she just wanted to have a long running game where she could update stuff regularly and monetized to keep it running and gacha was the "perfect" match for that... in theory
>>1998276 That makes sense. Sounds like a very safe plan... unless you happen to sign a contract with wrong people. Yeah, this genre can be amazingly profitable but it also has very high turn over rate. Some games, like GBF which I'm playing, are still going strong after twelve years with no signs of stopping (bloody hell, the highest individual bracket has 100 000 people and they might be forced to extend it if players keep getting more and more active) but there are countless titles which had to be put down in less than two years and that would be bad for sayori I think. Interestingly, gacha which tend to die the fastest, are the ones tied to already existing IPs, in my experience, as those are most scummy cashgrabs who quickly lose player support.
Steam page is saying that Nekopara Sekai Connect is developed and published by Good Smile Company? Is that true? That sounds unreal... Absolutely gigantic and well-regarded company but one which has little experience in the gacha market... impossible to predict what could be the result and it looks like things didn't work out well here, they must have hired some greedy failures.
>>1998281 >Steam page is saying that Nekopara Sekai Connect is developed and published by Good Smile Company? Is that true? Yes, they are the devs, Sayori was already working with them on figures and other artwork I guess
>>1998281 Yes at first it was Nekoparaiten developed by Yostar but they end up in development hell and it never released, then it got revived as Neko Sekai Connect by GSC. GSC has already another gacha game for a Touhou gacha and I haven't hear good things about it besides it being resilient and people surprised it's still alive.
>>1998309 >>1998312 I see. Did some research myself and saw Touhou Lost World, remembered one of my friends used to play it, inquired him about how the game was handled and he said that monetization/gacha etc. were fine enough, if nothing extraordinary, main flaw of the game was apparently lack of vision of what it wants to be long term. He dropped it pretty early though. don't know if things improved.
>>1998519 I'm not sure how's it going on the phone, but it's "Playable" on emulator, currently there's a bug going on that hides the text of your missions dailies, plus the UI could be a long better, also I can't seem to go above 30fps even with max settings
>want to level nekos >click neko >can't cycle through them like in other gacha >have to go back and forth and select them one by one >cancelling some quests forces you back to the title screen
I can't run the game on mumu for shit Tried all of the tips I could find, tweaking some emulator settings and updating mumu to 5.25.0. Nothing worked for me. The game ran pretty badly on my phone and I also hate smartphone gaming so I really wished I didn't have to wait until Steam version to play this Oh well
If anyone has any idea of what could be causing this, I'd really appreciate it.
>>1994872 I need them to crank up the lewdness of the skin and cargirls soon, there were so many alternative costumes they could've turned into skins but they chose the boring idol stuff
>>1999182 I think it's the same 4.5% for all banners? it's a pretty generous % of drop ngl but I guess it got countered by the fact that you need like 20 copies of a catgirl to full limit break and max awakening her.
>>1999206 >I think it's the same 4.5% for all banners? yeah I just noticed the banner rates after she came out, considering how small the cast of girls are, it kinda makes sense on how many dupes you need to max them out
>>1999014 Has anyone even tried datamining the game? I tried to, but I think this is one of those gachas that save their additional assets to root directory and the only feasible way to get those files (at least until Steam release) would be to download the full game on an emulator, enable root, and grabbing the data from there. For now, I've managed to get vgmstream to implement the HCA key needed to decrypt the audio files.
>>1999309 I was able to grab the assets data of the game but the folders and files were encrypted and divided into random parts, to reverse the encryption I needed to get the key from il2cpp.so but it was also encrypted... Tried several methods to get the key but I wasn't able to.
>>1999309 >>1999621 this grabs all the asset bundles straight from the server and decrypts them. From there you can open them with AssetStudioGUI and pull out all the spine files or whatever. https://litter.catbox.moe/dbc255.7z
open .ab with AssetStudio, extract Texture2D and TextAsset, put them all into the same folder. then drag all with the same filename into a spine viewer I used Spine Viewer Vue then cropped the webm it made. but there's probably better ones out there.
I still don't understand the point of elements besides the VR towers, all it seems is that teams of the same element buff each other, also I feel like lvling your nekos is expensive
>>2004566 that should fix it so once you can see them in japanese you can go back to english... if that's not the case I recommend using the repair data button in the title and then the batch download button inside the game
>they just give you new neko for free so the whole vn part is free and competitive shit is just to make whales pay while f2pGODS reap the benefits? they're THAT based?
>>2005586 Go to the members' tab and at the top right there's a "leave" button. It seems that kicking and leaving clubs is not allowed at certain periods of the world cruise matches so if you get kicked to the title screen try again after the current period ends
>Free pussy hum either this is just a one time thing to compensate for the blunder or maybe they intent to give the new cats out given how many dupes you need to lvl up ascensions and limit breaks.
Also in case anyone hasn't notice, Apple in Japanese is:りんご (ringo)
>>2005559 I got locked from watching the event story for not having a super META team, so I suppose that's going to be the GETCHA of this game, want to read the stories? Better star pulling and farm 20000 hours.
>>2005729 was that like 200k power? that's beatable with 3* and 4* of the same color if you're willing to spend resources on them the only real limiter for regular level ups is the time you're willing to spend on MANUALLY CLICKING every normal and hard story stage and there's auto for that, but it's PAYWALLED
>>2006223 Auto being paywalled is hilarious because it's such a basic feature in other gachas that it's baffling here, the game is already annoying to navigate
>>2008570 I think that's under their expected first month income but enough to let the game keep living, I think EoS will be in the horizon if the income goes around 50k total... but maybe they will need to cut staff for the steam release and delay it.
Quit the game, the free rolls honeymoon were decent but awakening/LB and raising level was annoying. Might return if they do some limited collab or rehaul the entire gameplay that doesn't need me changing language almost every day to fix mission.
Playing another game that has two cat girls to cuddle with. Hope for the best to Sayori.
>>2014938 switch your language at the start up screen to JP. you'll have to keep it like that for now since the game only works on JP. EN currently dead
>>2015298 do quest as long as you can, also the new event has some cheap money exchange for 100 tokens. I think one of the gift quests lines is also a good way to make money
Great another game breaking bug. Everytime I try to read chapter 1 of Fraise, the game freezes on the loading screen. You can't keep reading the main story without reading that afirst
>>1999664 Would it be possible to extend this script from just the asset bundles to stuff like the music (.awb/.acb) and videos (.usm)? I've tried for the past couple weeks to achieve this, but I either get 404s or 1 kilobyte files. Clearly I’m out of my element, so I figured I'd ask here for any sort of help with this. I know that what I’m after is on a separate endpoint, not on "get_resource_asset_bundle_mst_list" but "get_resource_file_mst_list" however that's about as far as I've gotten, don't really know where to go from there or if files are actually downloadable from there. Any assistance on this would be much appreciated!
>>2028414 If you can manage to get the CRI music files (the ACB/AWB files), you can just pop them into vgmstream. Suggesting the addition of the game's decryption key to the dev group's GitHub was one of the first things I did after encountering said files.
>>2028565 Unfortunately that's where the problem is, the game only comes with the title screen theme (required before you download everything obviously). Checking the downloaded assets (via opening virtual disk of an emulator with the game fully downloaded by completing the tutorial) shows that absolutely everything is hashed/encypted in some way. I actually found out which folder is the BGM folder, but without knowing how to reverse the hashing/encryption, there's not really a way to get any of the music files in a state where vgmstream accepts them (I've already tried just inputting the hashed files, doesn't work unfortunately). For anyone wondering, it is the path "jp.goodsmile.nekoconne\files\CYU6\3c9Q\kfOi\ibSK8U6sVtt-_Zv5z9RxKA\l8prV2UPelCXIGDDDkAiTw" Inside that l8pr folder is where you'll find ~200 files, half of them are the .awb's and the other half are the .acb's (the extensions are all stripped, but the file sizes and headers give away what they really are). It's painful how close you can get (or at least I was able to get), but there's just nothing I've tried that works. Suspiciously, there is a file that is the exact same size are the title theme's .awb file, and believe me, I figured this was gonna be it. Figure out how that file got transformed from the working file to the hashed file, golden, but nothing I've tried there worked either. It's the "nPw7N57moudo8LqsyJZWOQ" file inside that l8pr folder if you'd wanna take a look. W getting vgmstream to add support for the title.awb though
>>2028414 Yea, I have also tried everything for the past while and cant get the other assets to download. Got some 404, 403s and some empty files. Unfortunately this field isnt my specialty so I'll be glad if someone can get this working.
>>2040215 >https://files.catbox.moe/1ndte4.7z Very big thanks! I swear GSC pulled some of the unity assets like the wedding dress skin models. Cant download them again anymore
