Symbols will always be more soul, I collect modern but I wish they had symbols. Although I understand that now that we have 1000000 sets it's difficult to differentiate a 16x16px symbol for each set.

I don't like grey borders of cards. I wish they made the illustrations all the size of the cards or at least let the borders change according to the colors on the cards.

Rattle refuses to investigate certain content creators despite there being glaringly suspicious behavior and claims.
>Content creators, specifically rip & shippers notoriously fail or avoid doing taxes for income earned from selling Pokemon cards.
>It usually catches up with them a few years later and the get hit with a large amount owing.
>Many coincidentally get "robbed" or experience large thefts of extremely valuable or big ticket items at the start of tax season (likely around the time theyd get hit with the notice).
>Stolen items/ inventory can be claimed as a loss on your taxes and reduces the amount you owe to the government.
Because of this many people are speculating rip & shippers and content creators are staging robberies or faking them so they can claim the losses and avoid paying extremely large amounts owing. Which would mean they could still keep their collectibles in private. Many of these incidents are also being described as only being able to be done as an "inside job" given the length of study or knowledge they would need to pull off a robbery like these.
Further suspicious arises even further when there is zero video camera or other evidence to even support that an actual robbery really occured.
Rattles silence on these issues revolving around pokemon cards is absolutely telling, hes not here for others, hes not here for the hobby, hes not here to protect others hes here for himself and his partners.
How many people are giving these content creators additional donations, support, and business following these potentially staged events? LOTS.
And not bringing to light allows these criminal tax evasionists to continue to scam. But Rattle wont say a single word about it because he doesnt want to burn bridges in circles he desperately wants to be apart of.

As a kid i would go nuts and beg my parents for money to buy packs to have a chance to get a GOLD FUCKIGN CHARIZARD.
To me it's like a gold Willy Wonka ticket.

But i burned myself a lot chasing Giratina V when Sword and Shield was on the hype. I'm not sure if i want to start it again.
I remember whole year i wasn't buying anything good for me because all my money were going to gambling.
Never again.

I spent almost 5k over the last 2 years, and I carefully went only for singles I wanted, avoiding newer releases at inflated prices, and in general looking for the best deals online, never at a LCS. All raw no graded.
I wonder how much I would have spent to rack up the same cards gambling on packs instead.

Let's say 5k are 1000 packs at MSRP of $5 (they aren't during this boom). My PC of cards of high rarity that aren't either bulk or 3Dslop is around 200 cards, I would need to pull exactly the chases I need, without dupes, every 5 packs at most.
Now consider the fact that modern packs cost 3xMSRP and packs before SV era are even more expensive. Perfect hit every 2-3 packs?
