Yea, this game is so fucking dead. This is objectively the worst fucking pack they've released thus far, and the bar was already pretty low. I feel retarded for blowing just 200 hourglasses on this shit. I wanted to go in blind without leaks, but that was easy since nobody even posted leaks anyway. Then when I opened the packs I realized I should have spoiled myself ahead of time and saved hourglasses.

I'm a waifu collector, but I don't see the point in getting the same card from ELEVEN expansions ago with reused art. In terms of Pokémon, I don't see any potential in any of the cards (not even for fun decks), so the meta will remain exactly the same as last month.
Did these pieces of shit only hire 1 person to handle the entire expansion? Or why the fuck does it look so low effort?

Altaria needs a full bench to hit for 130, but you also need consistency, which is why it sits surrounded by a pile of 50HP babyshit. Without Altaria on the board alt decks just don't do anything.

So, in regards to the "they nerfed Hourglasses from challenges" thing.
I did some calcs, and this set basically confirmed that we're getting the same amount of HG from before in the same way I predicted on Fastastical Parade's release.
We get fewer HGs than we used to get from sets that have 100+ cards, but the difference is more than made back comparing it to sets that had less than 100 cards.
Both WSS and MR had a max amount of 134 HGs, which is 14 more than the 120 we get now.
But smaller sets like EC and CB had 81, which means we get 39 more HGs than we got from those.

Also, looking at both HGs per diamond rarity card, and HG per card total in the sets, this set is second and first respectively in most HGs obtained by cards in the set.

You can pick any pack to open with them, and you don't have to open them immediately, meaning you can just hold on to them to use in a future pack.

Third, by your definition, the entire game is FOMO. If you don't login for 24 hours, you missed a pack. And the definition of "grind" used here is extremely loose, as you can literally just enable auto with a B tier deck and it will still clear the challenges.

I think meowscarada would be good but is the kinda pokemon hurt by ice pop. The 2 shot archetype in pocket died overnight, its so brutal to knock something down to 30-50 hp and they meme heal back to 180 with ice pop.
