What's your strategy for playing Inventory Management: The Video Game?
Some items, especially blocks, are further separated into those that only make sense to store in that area (different grass/dirt types, fire hydrants belong in the city, etc). Not shown are even more chests elsewhere for things like food and seeds, CDs, badges and small relics. I may have to pull the crafting table back and put two chests behind it facing to the sides.

I'm making a giant mall. I have a few floors of one of the department stores done. so far, floor 1 is natural blocks and floor 2 is artificial blocks. the other floors will have other building materials. each block type has its own chest with a frame.
when exiting the dept store into the mall, the first store to the left will have furniture on display, with chests next to each item.

I finally rained in Palette but I didn't realize I had to move all around the dry island to get it to turn green. I waited for a few minutes above to try to get a timelapse but area outside of my view didn't grow grass.

You can check if they're on the island at the time via looking at your pokedex and setting it to only show Pokemon that are in the area, as it tells you if they're there or not

Just skip dates on your Switch 2 to keep looking till they spawn

Of course Ho-oh doesn't show up as soon as I get the clear bell. Same thing with Lugia when I got the silver bell. These motherfuckers are in the sky every 10 minutes until I need them. You can't convince me Nintendo doesn't have patented desire sensors in these pro controllers.

I'm just realizing you can use gravelers jump to break blocks. This entire time I was untransforming and using manual rock smash to get to a higher layer.

I would say that overall, Pokopia is great for a first try at a life sim minecraft hybrid while leaving quite a lot of room for improvement for a potential sequel, especially in the QoL department. I was sitting down for an hour trying to fix a house I built under a hill because the game keeps treating the staircase corridor leading to it as the house while the inside is uhh nothing in particular.

If you're asking if I do, definitely not. Pallet town was my pokedex grinding zone so I've got patches of grass from different regions all over just to spawn pokes. My Pallet town probably has like over 100 pokemon living in it.
After I take a break if I come back to make everything pretty I'm probably gonna shove everybody in 2x2 grass habitats in the corner of the map to start terraforming. Kinda like shoving villagers on the beach in new horizons.

Building loading screen houses for pokemon gives you more space to design an interior that suits their unique likes and aesthetic

But it also means they spend less time wandering the overworld

So if you build houses for pokemon you like, you see them less if you don't specifically enter their house.

But if you build houses for pokemon you *don't* like, you have to either spend energy designing an interior for shitmons, or accept that some of your house interiors are going to be low-effort.
