as far as I understand, everything from coups, false flags, foreign interference, domestic subversion and typical blackbagging of dissidents.
you might also be the one in charge of special force, but im less clear on if that's still on the table

because everything up to this point was just a mockup, and now that its actually getting coded and put into the game its suffering from the fact that the games being made by a single autistic developer who is reaching way too high for what he can probably achieve. single dev both as in solo and as in never had a gf.

its still never actually gonna released btw, just get pushed back like 20 more times per year with nothingburger devlogs inbetween delay announcements. Sad. Play victoria 2 with that one cold war mod for a similar experience i guess.

Would wait for Espiocracy. I think Cold War 2 is a bit too shallow for my tastes and lacks a lot of polish in things like the standoff mechanics and a lot of shit is heavily railroaded. A lot of historical conflicts like the Korean war can be kinda solved rather easily by spawning guerillas as the Soviet player. I would hold off on it at best.

Is he still insisting on the "you're not allowed to win with a market economy since I've hardcoded market economies to inevitably collapse" thing? Because that kinda killed my hype, desu. If I'm playing as commies I want have fun LARPing as Stalin and do commie shit; I don't care about the real-world economic viability because this is an alt-history vidya game where the economics are heavily abstracted anyway. Why do a Soviet run if you're inevitably railroaded into not being Soviet?
