The entire population of the USA is on the list since Musk used DOGE to get in steal all our data with no oversight and it has been long sold to China, Russia, North Korea and pretty much anyone who wanted to buy it. Musk made very good money with that!

>clunky
NTA, but calling it clunky is pretty appropriate, as the building grid can "fuck" with you in multiple ways and just feels like shit very often and whatever crap you build is often locked to a specific latitude range when scaling it.
When "bending" belts you also must have a lot of considerations in mind & certain setups will work only when built in specific order.
Then the small things like being unable to extend a belt if it's built under an elevated belt etc etc etc.
DSP is EXTREMELY clunky, so what the fuck are you talking about?

>enemy faction and combat
I had the KINOest KINO moment ever while playing DSP.
>after barely conquering a planet a response fleet was summoned
>barely manged to set planetary shield in time before enemies arrive
>the sky lights up under planetary bombardment. It looks beautiful.
>work on a turret chain to deal with the blockade
>while I work on turrets and setting up production the hive's orbit hits nearest approach without me noticing
>turrets finally go online and due to close proximity trigger the whole hive
>sky is full of hostile spaceships rapidly draining planetary shield
>run around trying to drop more shield generators
>can't meet energy demand
>shield starts to collapse
>in the gaps where shield has failed dark fog's planetary bases land and start unit production
>total mayhem on all fronts until I get eventually overwhelmed
My storytelling skills might suck, but it was the coolest gaming experience I had in a VERY long.

Well, it is Chink shit. But the game itself is great, its just the combat system that sucks. Honestly, I'd try without the Dark Fog, its halfassed rn. They are working on making it better, I hear, but their dev cycle is loooon

that's the only such thing i remember being annoying while playing it. the other things you named just make you sound like a retard. yeah the grid can "fuck" with you, very specific complaint.

I haven't played much since the bare introduction of Combat that devovles the enemy into farmable mobs but its there to scratch the itch of Factorio after 2.1 where they stopped development.
They prefer spectacle and scale (& QoL ) over the autism though so it's like if you took the Midgame and scale it out indefinitely instead of running into artificial constraints like nonsensical weight limits of bullets from space age.

If you don't know what you're looking this is basically the starting planet and it's moon being enclosed in a Dyson Sphere orbiting the Sun. This is like 100x the effort needed to win the game so they spent alot of efforts to make your 1000 rockets per minute megabases do something to keep your base expanding.
