Maybe I’m just being cynical, but what if Pillow actually wants to start moving away from GFE and instead of doing a Shondo and outright saying it, she instead is changing her character to something that makes GFE less realistic, in the hope that we start seeing her as a daughter instead and lower our expectations? Unless this is what she’s always wanted to be and only now she feels comfortable enough to be herself, that’s the only other explanation I can think of for the character change. It’s not just visual for her voice and mannerisms are already like 10-15 years younger than what they were 2 years ago.

I hope I’m just being schizo but I’ve seen this happen a few times with other vtubers, usually it’s the opposite where they were loli GFE and then they ‘grow up’ and get more mature models and drop the parasocial content so I’m not sure how to feel about Pillow.
