Another possibility is that Rei Otsuka knew Clara from their idol days (both used to be idols in Japan).

You're mostly right about Phase fans though. Most of the response was "who cares, watch streams" but there were a few persistent TVA doxers regularly spamming false rrats about her as well on here. Reddit was pretty insulated from that and on twitter it was just a small number of spammers who would reply to every post by Phase official accounts and Clara's account with the same stuff about how Clara needs to be fired and she's a terrible person (but everyone ignored them).

Nothing really, there were just a bunch of false rrats created by TVA who created a massive 430+ page thread where they surveilled her irl instagram stories every day and her family's social media and stuff. The rrats are all just screenshots taken out of context and misconstrued to seem like different stuff. For instance

Those rrats led to a fuckload of harassment of her where no one could disprove them because to do so you would need to post dox materials yourself (cause it's all her irl instagram account).
In the end though, it turned out in her graduation statement that the reason for graduating had more to do with the company stuffing her into the JP branch and not letting her transfer when she had a mostly EN audience which led to her basically having no gen (and having genmates was her reason for joining in the first place). Also "something happened" in May 2024 (no one knows what but it was really early into her joining Phase) that led to her muting a bunch of channels on discord where she had previously been super active (maybe management told her to stop interacting with EN so much, who knows).
