I have 3 mods: combat sex (broken and waiting for an update), defeat sex, and just general animations you can play. Hey everyone, im a small Port Game dev and I have had a few semi successful small projects. One got fucked over after the new VISA rules were implemented, and another I just abandoned cos i didn't like where it was going and my art wasn't good enough. I found a new artist for my project that will draw all of my character art, and I'll do everything else. So im working on a new game rn, but im torn between two stories for the same style of game.
So I have a question for you my fellow gooners.
When it comes to "fuck everybody" type dating sims (think summertime saga, but within the new guidelines, so its your basic MILFs/BBWs/Femdoms/Nerd/Black/Asian girls but nothing crazy otherwise) do you prefer:
A) Slice of life type games where you're a dude that lives in our world and seduces/fucks women that one could encounter IRL
or
B) Fantasy type scenario where its the same thing with MILFs/Asians/BBWs but they're all witches and like princesses type shit, and the main character is like a Viking?
I know that like "both could be cool, depends on how you do it" is probably the most likely answer for this dilemma, but I want to get an unbiased take from your average gooner that isn't me

>>9179759 Option B is not as overdone. There are so many games in the Summertime Saga niche, but they exist to fulfill a very specific fantasy of men of being studs in high school and fucking everything. Option B wouldn't be as cliche but not everyone would be as interested in the setting.
Your choice is A: to spend a lot of energy to compete in a well-established space but if you do well with good writing, good/unique art design, et cetera then you will have a huge audience for your game
B: Spend less energy/risk in a less developed niche but as a result have less overall potential audience
A: high risk/high reward B: lower risk/lower reward
With B, it doesn't matter if your writing and art are mid if you're the only game in that category to "scratch that itch"
I've been trying to look for a game I played a while ago but forgot the name.
