Recently went on first date of my life. Girl is an aquaintance from high school whom I've met again by chance. 3 Years ago she actually rejected me.
Anyways, after like 3 month of texting back and forth she agrees to go on a date. She's pretty weird sometimes takes 4-6 days to text back but then drives a total of 4 hours just to have a short coffee date with me. The date itself was uneventful, normal taking. Although she tried to say something whenever it got quiet. I think she's quite inexperienced as well, I wouldn't be surprised if this was her first date ever.
I was pretty stupid in high school and didn't really hide how much of a chud I am, so she probably heard rumors that I'm super right wing (she's quite liberal). She actually wrote back after the date so it's probably fine, I just fucking hate when she's not writing for like 5 days.
What do I make of these mixed signals?

She’s keeping you in her orbit so she gets dopamine when you text, but she’ll never actually commit to you. Be honest with yourself: if she was attracted to you, would she wait nearly a week to respond? I’ll admit it’s a good sign that she drove that far just to see you, but if it’s gonna be a long-distance thing, you don’t want it anyway, trust me.

She's gonna move to my city next semester.
Idk why she'd wait. She was the one who texted me in the first place, I was honestly over her.
I guess just ask for a second date and maybe escalate a little more?

I don't know. I'm probably not priority number one and not exciting enough to text back immediately. Or maybe she just is that way some people are weird, from the very beginning she took at least a day to respond.
Do you have any advice on what to do/ how to escalate without being weird?
