Started a new job. Went from a very small, tidy, professional setting full of women to a large company that's more more blue collar. Boss clearly has a right-wing disposition, as do I, but I've always been centered in the way I express myself.

One day he starts small-talking and 30 minutes later it's basically /pol/. As a 4channer, I was basically able to follow along with all the shit he said (even if I don't agree with it), and he took a liking of me because of how aware of it all I was.
I can't help but feel some sense of "culture shock" that, one, he is so open about his views with a new hire, and two, the fact that I heard this shit for the first time in real life.

I guess I'm curious if any of you have ever dealt with a dynamic like this and what should I be doing. Just egg him on in the conversations? Feign ignorance?

Use it to your advantage, obviously. You can become his favorite subordinate and get easy work if you play your cards right. I smell an easy promotion, all while you get to make fun of the office Indians.

depends on what kind of right wing youre talking about. In my experience lots of bosses like this are very traditional, Reaganomics types. Meaning that yes, there's still probably a 90% chance pf getting fired if you mention jews

places with guys like that always have bad labor practices. same reason you don't cater for a church. people that have the traditional upstanding thing going for them love to shyster you out of money the instant you did something not up to their standard, because they no one will be on your side if you complain

as with all bosses and management, the optimal move is to never seriously or substantially acknowledge any politics at work. any time a boss figures out something real about you, they will use it to get you thinking your business relations are deeper and more like a family, then they will always betray you if you fall for it. never say anything to a boss you wouldn't say in a police interrogation

See that's the thing: he went full Jewish question. I guess I'll "wow that's crazy" and "yeah I saw something like that on social media" my way through this.

If I heard talk that would annoy the blue-pilled normies and give the company a bad reputation, I would fire them instantly.

You are exchanging your time and skills for the company’s money, not to talk politics.

Would obviously save the /pol/ stuff for drinks with the coworkers after work... if you're the type like that. Keep playing neutral but aware, but don't go full on.
