Pork, Lamb and and Chicken are much nicer. Americans have been tricked into prefering it because their country has a bunch of shitty useless land that can't be used for much else. That being said, Dairy is goated. Europe/Asia have it right prefering Chicken or Pork.

I wouldn't say it's the "shittiest", but it is overrated. And yes, the land use for cattle means it's unsustainable for the population and beef prices will only ever continue to climb unless we raze the entire Amazon Rainforest. Unfortunately, a lot of people have for some reason attached their sense of masculinity to their consumption of beef, and they're far too embedded in that identity to be convinced otherwise at this point, so cattle farming isn't going anywhere for the time being.

Truth nuke. Beef has a weird taste that is hard to place, maybe it's the taste of grass. It kind of tastes like fake vegan meat. Beef gets really bad when overcooked. Not just steaks but just minced beef. It turns into rubber.
Beef is so highly rated because it's more expensive and you can get bigger cuts to show off how big your cow is.
Chicken has a better texture and is hard to fuck up, it can be bland but never bad.
Pork is good, but the fat is beyond repulsive.
Lamb is probably good but I've only had it as doner kebab.

However, I can make a small concession considering the price of beef.

Cattle was brought here by the Spaniards specifically Ponce de Leon, I thought. Where does OP live, and how is he so ignorant to history? There are indeed places in the world where only sheep and goats can survive, but the USA has it all. Even the horses aren't native.

Not being memey dipshit although it’ll sound like I am, but I’m assuming you’re allowed to take either black or brown bears (polars aren’t there and I don’t know if you get grizzlies or Kodiaks and anyway I think they’re protected).
Do you have a preference or do they all taste the same?
