Does anyone know of any games with bad endings like those by
Ankoku Marimokan? I've played all of their games, especially the first one, Kamikaze Ouka, which is my favorite, but I haven't found any other games in this style where, playing as a girl, you can lose to almost any enemy and instead of just getting a "Game Over," there are defeat scenes and several bad endings depending on how many times you're defeated. I've tried similar games, especially by
Ankoku Marimokan themselves, but none quite like theirs.

My ideal plot would that be that a once powerful evil organization's leader has a change of heart and changes to fight for love, justice, and humanity, but otherwise changes very little. Members aren't brainwashed for blind loyalty anymore, but the conditioning machines are still running to turn ordinary humans into powerful combatants who will fearlessly follow orders. The tech still gives members a sadistic and controlling streak, so the organization finds better outlets for it, also recruiting people to be toys for their top ranking members. If a girl's renown for saving the city, who wouldn't let her gently torment them if she asked?

All the physical changes are great, but minimal cosmetic changes to their body combined with a uniform is best. 3 can be fun, but conversion is best when a girl is still recognizable and very open about her change. 4 5 and 6 all should only be used sparingly for specialist members.

For mental changes, 2 and 3 are the only options. Forgetting the changes or permanently overwriting a character is just sad. A split personality gives both sides of the character space to shine and indirectly interact with each other. Acceptance brings out how corruption has improved the character, and shows that they act the way they do after corruption by choice.
