How do you actually keep your teeth pearl white?
I had a professional dental cleaning done some weeks ago but I already noticed some discoloration and some lightish brown lines between my teeth
Do I have to give up coffee/tea entirely or is it a matter of discipline in regards to chasing down everything (that leads to stains) with water ?
Also is teeth whitening done by a dentist worth the money?

My routine:
PM
>cerave basic bitch cleanser
>tretinoin
>La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm
>spot treat any acne or suspected acne with Benzoyl Peroxide
AM
>pic related
>sun screen only if I plan to actually be outside a lot
Is the shit in my pic legit? Any suggestions to improve my routine?

PDRN as a topical is pretty much just marketing, its a huge molecule so it can't penetrate the stratum corneum without a special delivery vehicle and exosome as a delivery vechile doesn't have a lot of studies behind it.
But it does have panthenol, polyglucuronic and a bunch of ceramides which you do need due to tret and BPO, so I'd say it's good as a product overall.

I started using retinol to sleep but I go to bed so late and wake up so late that the sun has been up for a long time in my room, and I'm wondering if it'll be bad for my skin.
There's no direct sunlight, but I use white curtains and the sun can be quite strong.
Should I use sunscreen to bed?

Is there much I can do about smile lines or whatever they are? They aren't severe but they linger a little sometimes but go away if I don't really smile and use some moisturizer. Obviously I don't want them to start getting bad but not sure if moisturizing does much, it might just be placebo.

Mixed Skin Tips:
If you're like me and topical product have had literally zero effect on your acne, seriously try this:
- Change your pillowcase every day
Just order a set of 7 pillowcases right now.
I discovered how much using the same pillowcase affected my acne when I was traveling and staying at different hotels every night. MY acne practically vanished.
Only when I stayed at the same hotel for 3 nights and used the same sheets did it come back.
- Shower BEFORE you go to sleep and Wear clean clothes to sleep in.
This keeps your body clean so less dirt and oil builds up in your linens. i suggest having a specific set of sleep clothes that you do not wear outside.
- Keep your hormone levels under control
This is mostly if you're roiding but if you hormones are out of wack you will break out like crazy. Excess testosterone converts into estrogen.
A lot of this will be working out, sleep, stress management, and diet.
- Be mindful of anything that touches your face, such as wiping your nose with your hands, leaning on your hand when resting, or even wearing the same hat. All it takes is a little bit of exposure for bacteria to rapidly multiply on your skin and cause a breakout:
Wash hands regularly.
Wash your hats/headwear frequently
Be mindful of over-ear headphones that collect oil.
Stop touching your fucking face!
- Avoid harsh cleansers
I don't even use any face cleansers at all anymore.
I just get one of those disposable face towels and wet it with water.
All these products and cleansers fuck with the PH of your face and kill good bacteria.
The only product I use is moisturizer.
Following these tips I've been pretty much acne free for the past 4 years.

Not sure if nail talk belongs here, but whatever. I want to fix my nail that I fucked up early in my teens but even when letting it grow for a month or so it barely felt like it grew back in. Am I doing something wrong? Should I not trim it at all even when it grows past my fingertip or what?

I'm 34 and I've done nothing with my skin until now. It's low maintenance, looks okay and doesn't feel dry.
I want to start using a combination moisturizer + SPF 50 in the morning now that I'm getting old. Can someone recommend me something basic and easy to use? I cycle regularly so sweat resistance is a plus.
I don't want a super heavy white cream American sunscreen but a lot of the Asian/Euro stuff seems overpriced and more than I need.

Ingrown facial hairs from epilating!
>suffered with razor burn for years
>epilated all my facial hair off
>skin felt smooth for a week
>exfoliated with a foaming cleanser 2x per day
>next week whole face covered with ingrown hairs
Is there any way out of this hell? Does epilating get better with time or am I basically guaranteed to have a rotation of ingrown hairs on my face for as long as I epilate?
Do I have to go back to shaving and having razor burn?

I use tret for 2 years and it completely managed to smooth out 2 of those wrinkles and a bit of the 3rd one. But yeah ur sleeping position does matter.

we need to add rosacea to the Skincare general post. Its not as common in men, but when we do get it, its worse than women's. mine started out of nowhere in my mid thirties, several doctors tried standard acne treatments eventually I ended up with abscesses sll over my face. I got a referral to a dermatologist and she took on look up close at me and said you dont have acne, you have rosacea and you've been treating it wrong. Rosacea occurs on very sensitive skin, and needs treatments that are aligned for it. Doxycycline, bactrim, ivermectin Oral and cream, azaelic acid, light sunscreen and night moisturizer abd face wash (cerave), clindamycin gel twice daily, sulfur soap or face wash and perodixe face wash twice a day starting once a day at 0.5% strength, and up to 10%every other day, to daily as your face allows. it is slow, and gets worse for a bit, but at a month you will break through and clear up over the next two months eventually you will be able to cut back on the treatments until you just keep it under control. everyone us different, but these are what finally helped.

>exosome as a delivery vechile doesn't have a lot of studies behind it.
that's because it's new? You're dismissing it on the basis of a temporal limitation, mechanistically, when combined with MN/Meso injections it's completely legit.
It wont have the comparative level of rigorous research behind it as something like tretinoin because that has been around for decades.

Oh hey neat this exists. 31, only started caring about my face skin this year after my girlfriend kept pushing me. I went through 5 miserable months of bad acne reactions because I have never done skincare in my life, but I finally settled on a routine that leaves me looking great:
>AM
Wash face in the shower with Vanicream facial cleanser (specific product name escapes me since I'm not in the restroom)
Nivea Men's Anti-Aging 30 SPF with Pro-Retinol
Nivea lip balm 15 SPF and Vaseline as needed (I have chronically dry lips)
Reapply both Nivea products as needed throughout day
>PM
Vanicream again
Vaseline on my lips
Adapalene 0.1%, leave on for 15 minutes
CeraVe PM Ultra Lightweight w/ ceramides and all that good stuff
My skin has never been clearer. Wish I had given a shit when I was young, could have prevented lots of acne scars. Ah well.
>>18687348
The very first week, I had no pain. My forehead broke out, but that's the cleansing process. After that, the corners of my eyes, the alar crease (where nose meets cheeks), and my neck were absolutely burning. My eyes were dry for about 4 days straight, and I freaked the fuck out thinking I'd done permanent damage as I was reading about my reaction online. I stayed away from Adapalene for a few days, and thankfully my eyes returned to normal. I resumed Adapalene, and I had read online to "shield" my eye corners from Adapalene with vaseline, and that worked. No more dry eyes. That was about a month ago, month and a half, and now I apply Adapalene relatively liberally and close to the corners of my eyes, and below my eyes without any irritation or dryness.
What I'm saying is, I didn't feel shit, then it all piled on at once and it was miserable, and now I'm cool. I went through La Roche-Posay triple repair, I went through Eucerin, I was getting acne, shit was burning, etc. before I finally settled on these products. Good luck m8 Adapalene is heaven for the skin when you get it right.

With a prescription. Just go to an aesthetic doc or a derm who is a woman in her 30s, or at least not an old fart. Using tret for anti-aging is normalized at this point, may vary in some countries but you should generally be fine.

This is my routine right now, I'm trying to add an SPF 30+ which is what I need help with.
Morning:
Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
Aveeno Calm + Restore (Other cleansers make my face too red)
Then the SPF 30 +, I want to get "Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30", is it worth it?
Evening/Night:
Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
AHA Treatment - Doctor Dennis Gross Peel, is it worth it, any experience?
Aveeno Calm + Restore
Trying to keep it light.

This has been my first skincare routine, I already had the serum so I just fell for the Medicube shills and bought everything else on a whim. Been about three weeks, things were looking good acne-wise but I still broke out again, think it might be due to the sweat from exercising or maybe my pillows and sheets. I'll try to be more aware, and no-fap for the hell of it. Also need to buy a sunscreen.

>yeah, derminator 2 0.75-1mm with 12-needle cartridges and highest speed
whats your after care like? needling can disrupt your moisture barrier, are you using sterile products?
>expensive nothingburgers that won't move the needle
lol respectfully this is cope, if you dont want to spend a lot of money (reasonable) just say so, but also dont say you're going all out when you're not lol.
>I have dry+sensitive skin and even 1% salacylic acid 2x/week raped my barrier after 1.5 months, idk man
SA should not be doing that, do your other products have fragrance? or essential oils? Maybe your sunscreen has filters that disrupt the moisture barrier?
Doing a robust peel after banking a bunch of collagen with microneedling is absolutely going to give you insane results.
Feed your routine through AI, and ask if it any of the products have ingredients that are sensitizing.

I’ve never been to a derm before but I’m thinking of going to get a tret prescription and also just a general profile and routine recommendation for my face. skin-n00b here, what's the deal with tinted sunscreen? I recently found out that I may have hereditary haemochromatosis which causes hyperpigmentation. so the doctor suggested that I should get tinted sunscreen.
I always assumed that these were more of a makeup product, am I being memed? Will people think I'm wearing makeup?

there are various levels you can buy. you're not being memed. and who cares if people think you're wearing makeup that's your health.

Skincare noob here, need some advice or r8 my routine.
AM
>Cleanser
>Vitamin C Serum
>Moisturize
PM
>Cleanser
>Moisturize
>Over the counter Retinol x2 days a week
Been doing this about 2 ish months and noticed forhead wrinkles getting visibly harder to see, including almost getting rid of these diagonal wrinkles I had entirely as well as shinier skin, but have also been getting facial redness, some breakouts, and some patches of dry flakey skin, whenever I do this routine as well I sometimes get some sensitivity when applying products, like a light stinging or burning. Also if I'm not consistent and miss a day or two, I get crazy facial dandruff, like literally making it snow.
any tips frens?

my cerave lotion is nearly empty and I am looking for the good mosturizer with the same texture as lotion so nothing thick. What is a really good one, I don't mind splurging a little. Eurobro newbie checking in. What's the consensus on those products?
>Laroche-Posay Effaclar
>Effaclar Duo+M
>Cerave Face Moisturizing lotion SPF30
Respectively cleanser and moisturizers (though Duo+M was always advised to fight off acne and black spots)
I'm on a budget so I skipped on a real exfoliator and an astringent.
Planning to try retinol next september and maybe start microneedling once a year whenever I get the budget for it, I have some light acne scars and though I always get the"you look younger than you are" type of comments, I have two major wrinkles that I'd like to contain
Any advice?

Somehow, my acne has returned, so I went back and looked at what I was prescribed 15 years ago. At the first derm appointment, I got tret .05% cream and doxycycline 100mg. But I guess that didn't work since I went back less than a year later. The second time I got Tazorac .05% cream and Clindamycin 1% lotion (and more doxycycline). I don't remember, but I guess the second one worked. Hopefully I can get a doctor to just repeat that this time.

it comes with age. your skin losing collagen production and elasticity.
it can also be caused/worsened by dehydration
drink 3-4L water a day and be consistent
moisturize using a humectant like hyaluronic acid
moisturizer adds moisture from the top, humectant pulls moisture up from deep in the skin.
in this order: cleanse, serum, moisturizer, spf
- Torriden DIVE IN Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum
https://www.hwahae.com/en/products/Torriden-DIVE-IN-Low-Molecular-Hyal uronic-Acid-Serum/1984011
- Torriden DIVE IN Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream
https://www.hwahae.com/en/products/Torriden-DIVE-IN-Low-Molecular-Hyal uronic-Acid-Cream/1984093
exercise helps with circulation and is great for you skin too
you may also want to try tretinoin 0.025% cream
this will help stimulate collogen production and increase the rate of skin turn over
you need to be consistent and patient with it, but it pays off in the long run at keeping your skin healthy
talk to a dermatologist about laser or microneedling treatment
there's a lot of different options that depend on your skin type
consultations are usually covered by insurance in the US, but the procedure being cosmetic, will not be

Seems like Western brands are cheaper for cleansers and Korean/Asian brands for moisturizers. A 40-50ml Western moisturizer costs more than a Korean for 100ml. What moisturizers do you use, anons? Should be available in the EU.

picrel is best i can do. not going to doxx. this was taken over a year ago. i've been through a lot of products.
it's really not as extreme as it might seem. my morning routine is just a normal shower time and about an additional 3 mins putting on the rest while i'm getting dressed.
like hop out the shower. towel off, put on the serum, get dressed, put on the sunscreen and lip balm.
i work from home so the supplements 3x a day is not a big deal
an extra 10 min or so to my night routine for skincare.
i exercise 4-6 days a week for about 2 hours. this is what consumes the most time. really no way around it and is essentially required of everyone.
i keep such close track because my skin is so sensitive and i got tired of having acne.

It's one of the very few korean sunscreen formulations that has NO niacinamide, no fragrance either. (Usually with korean products niacinamide is ubiquitous, in japanese its fragrance)
Only "active" ingredients are panthenol, centella, and ceramides, very soothing. The chemical filters are oil soluble + 1 hybrid and modern, very unlikely to give white cast, and very very unlikely to sting

oddly enough the cerave ultralight. not in pic, the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Matte Face Moisturizer is a close second.
i desperately wanted anessa to work for me because it's exactly the finish/feel i'm looking for, but it burnt the shit out my skin. i tried the sensitive/pink one too.
joeseon, skin1004, round lab, torriden, were all similar and too drying for me. you would have to moisturize before. i could see the appeal if you wore makeup over it, so not surprised they're popular.
biore uv was really drying with an alcohol base.
skin aqua had a heavy scent and burned.
elta md uv sport i still use for exercise/water proofing. the EltaMD UV Sheer is also very nice, but a bit more expensive.

I'm starting to get them too (30yo) and I'm not sure if my routine is making them worse. I'm not doing too much, just cleanser, .05% tretinoin, and a moisturizer (+occasionally ketoconazole shampoo for seb derm) but I've noticed when looking up close that the skin there is a bit red so I'm wondering if it's because I'm applying tret there and it's a fold so it starts rubbing in and causing irritation. Haven't done hyaluronic acid but maybe I'll look into it. Some people also suggest sleeping on the back, but it's hard for me to get used to it + I roll around a lot. Any other advice?
>>
>>
>>18695999
>.05% tretinoin
if you're just using tret for anti-aging you can move down to 0.025% if you think it's may be too irritating. higher strength has only shown to be useful for acne over the long term.
you can also try putting down a little moisturizer on the irritated areas before applying the tret.
>Some people also suggest sleeping on the back, but it's hard for me to get used to it + I roll around a lot.
i can't do this either. not sure it actually matters desu.
>Fraxel 1927 Light for melasma on the face & Genius RF Microneedling for acne scarring on the face (1 of 4)
the microneedling helped even after only one round
i wouldn't ever do a filler, because they can't be taken out and will break down over time and drift to other parts of you face. there are some non permanent ones like hyaluronic acid fillers, but they don't last very long at all and i'm not that vein lol.
cutting down on sodium and drinking plenty of water can help cut down on bloating that make them stand out more.
i need to take claritin occasionally too if my allergies are acting up. i can end up with a puffy bloated face from allergies.
i think they're inevitable with age and bone structure. the best solution is keeping the skin as healthy as possible and just accepting the aging. they get meme'd for being chud lines, but women don't seem to mind at all.

I'm happy w the .05%, it doesn't cause me iritation (except for MAYBE in this area) and I've been getting fewer pimples even though I haven't been diagnosed with acne, so I don't want to stop/change it. My pharmacist also filled my 6month prescription with 6 tubes for some reason so I'm set until like 2029.
Also don't particularly want to invest in other expensive procedures because I'm thinking of doing an abdominoplasty soon so need to save up for that, but the moisturizer tip is good, I'll try doing a thick dose before the tret thx

I’ve used TCA peels and moisturizers under my eye and it still is full of wrinkles, it looks like Donald Trumps old man eye, lots of small creases directly under the eyelid. Is a YAG laser the only way to fix this?
>>
>>
>>

>retinol
not really, it's safe. it's better to just get a prescription for tretinoin if you can. retinol is less effective and without the same quality control.
the real thing you need to know is that there is a period during the first few weeks were you can break out more before it starts clearing up. you just have to push through that.

I wouldn't worry about your skin being hopelessly damaged unless you've been tanning every day for 15 years. Skincare is 100% worth it if you're even slightly conscious about wanting to look good or young. When you see people in their 30's, 40's, and 50's you can really tell who's been treating their skin well. It can literally knock 5 to 10 years off their face (and those who have been treating their skin badly look 5 to 10 years older).

SA is primiarily of benefit if you're prone to acne, otherwise it's still good but not essential. It's also somewhat irritating to the skin, so mileage may vary depending on what your skin can handle, especially if it's on top of other irritating products like retinoids, aza, etc. I've seen people with sensitive, dry skin that couldn't really deal with SA and retinoids at the same time, at least initially.
>any ways to improve?
Retinoids, higher SPF, ceramides, vit C, in that order of importance, retinoids are sunscreen are the big two. You should be going with a high SPF like 60 because the nominal protection starts going down past 2 hours, and it's not feasible to be reapplying every 2 hours everyday. Even 60 is down to about 10ish by the 8 hour mark. 30 is still fine, especially if you're getting little sun, but there's just no real reason not to go 60.
>>
>>18697183
They aren't really, at least not across the board. In my experience they have moisturizing figured out better, but europe has overall better sunscreen formulations, less shine and thickness for the same protection on average.

I don't use most of these products every day. Most of the time I just use face wash, sunscreen and moisturiser. My skin is oily and while I wouldn't say I have acne as such (I get pimples sometimes), I definitely have skin texture and blackheads. Any suggestions on how to improve these things? I think my skin barrier is kinda butchered on my nose as well. I always get blemishes on my nose
>>
>>
>>18699778
Anti-aging is one thing, but the first solution to anything acne or acne-adjacent, other than basic hygene, is diet adjustment. Try an elimination diet where you exclude a food group that is potentially causing inflammation and increased sebum production. The usual suspects are dairy, high sugar intake (especially processed with little to no fiber), fried, greasy foods and spicy foods, in that order of likelihood.
>>
>>
>>18699778
I'm in the exact same situation as you. I use glycolic acid and retinol for skin texture improvement. Use only at night. Alternate between them (retinol on monday, glycolic on tuesday, retinol on wednesday, etc.).
I also use 5% benzoyl peroxide gel on pimples as soon as they become visible. I don't use it on my whole face because it causes irritation for me, but your skin might tolerate it.
Make sure to cover each pimple with a hydrocolloid patch before going to sleep every night. Also make sure you're sleeping on a clean pillow case, and even better if you sleep on your back (so your face never touches the pillow).
I also use laroche posay cicaplast b5 baume at night. It insanely good at repairing the skin barrier, which helps a lot with skin texture and breakouts.

I went to a skin clinic about a week ago and had some special face scans done etc and they seemed to say my skin is in absolute shit shape, and now I don't know what to do. I think I look okay and people say my skin looks great, but my main issue is just pretty large pores and getting really oily about an hour after if I cleanse my face. They quoted me about $500 for AHA cleanser, moisturizer, vitamin B serum and a further $3000 for some kind of collagen injections and some other thing. Are they just trying to spook me into spending a lot of money?
I kind of freaked and haven't bought anything from them yet, what I've done for now is get some La Roche Posay Vitamin B serum and some moisturizer. The only issue I ever have (with literally anything I use from any brand) is a slight stinging feeling on first application and mild redness, though leaving it on looks like I have a minor but very even tan.
What should I do? Anyone got some recommendations?
>>
>>18696911
>exercises I should consider
at a minimum you get 20-30 mins of sustained elevated heart rate daily, but even going on walks has major benefits.
i personally exercise quite a bit more than most people with a combination of running and strength training.
>How pricey might that be?
i'm sure it varies quite a bit by country like korea i know is much cheaper, but in a major us city i paid
$250 - Fraxel laser
$900 - Genius RF microneedling
there are a bunch of different types of lasers, needling, etc that vary a lot by price. more expensive doesn't equate to better, just get a consult on what's appropriate for your skin.
>>
>>18699778
>skin barrier is kinda butchered on my nose
i'd watch out for this. most people's immediate response will be exfoliation which is tempting, but a damaged skin barrier can be the root cause of pimples and blackheads too. the lrp face wash you're using has 2% SA/LHA. if you're using that every day it could be one of the reasons for the weak skin barrier. try switching to something gentler and just wash, moisturize, and spf. at night use a barrier cream. this can take weeks to repair, but reassess once you feels it's good. it may be a better option to go with a retinoid or only using an exfoliant periodically if you still have pimples and blackheads.

It really comes down to the specifics of what your skin is like. A toner, a good cleanser, a moisturizer and some retinol is like 99% of the work. Which ones are right depends on your budget and what quirks your skin has. Some people have super oily easy to clog acne prone skin some people don't so on

$500 for an AHA cleanser, moisturizer and Vit C serum is a scam, ye.
>The only issue I ever have (with literally anything I use from any brand) is a slight stinging feeling
That's normal for potent vit c serums, your skin will get used to it.
> What should I do? Anyone got some recommendations?
Idk what ur skin condition is like but generally just use a standard routine. Vit c and moisturizers are a good start. Using a cleanser each night to clean ur face is also needed.
Sunscreen, retinoids, AHA/BHA products once a week or so also helps a lot but it depends on ur goals, skin condition, age etc. too much to cover without context.

from the few things I tried (cerave, oily lotion, hylauron serums, combinations) NOTHING worked, only petroleum jelly makes my skin calm down, firm up and stop feeling tense.
are there any other solutions or products I should try or should I just get a weaker retinol instead? (geekgorgeous glycine lotion didnt work either)

>too much to cover without context.
Age 30 and really sensitive skin, pretty much anything I'd use would cause a stinging feeling or redness. My skin quickly makes a lot of oil and it's awful, especially about 30 mins or an hour after cleansing, even if I put on moisturizer after cleansing to regain moisture. That clinic said my barrier is essentially toast right now and needs to be repaired.
I've seen a doctor since then and they recommended an over the counter moisturizer that has no scents or other shit, and it's the first time I've used something that doesn't sting me or caused immediate redness, so that's cool. But the negative is that I still get super shiny and greasy about an hour or two later and it also makes me look like I have a mild tan with it (not at all red, but a light natural tan, it's very strange).
Should I still use any cleanser? The doc seemed to think I should drop everything and only use that recommended moisturizer for a while.

Some people have to take measures to get their skin used to it. Try putting on moisturizer ten minutes before you apply it and only apply a very thin layer of it. You might have to only apply it every two or three days at first too.

That sucks bro. Ask a doc or look around a bit and find something that has practically nothing extra added. Whatever I'm using has no fragrance, parabens (I think) and no something-else. I think my skin does look good or even slightly better, I just have to pad my face with a tissue before going out to remove the grease.
And as for why I don't just splash water or just wipe it off? Because doing literally anything but padding my face with a tissue causes me to fully dry out and start flaking literally immediately. I'm going absolutely crazy from this bullshit. I'm seeing my doc again soon to try and figure out what else can be done so that just getting splashed with water doesn't make me dry out.

Looks like your loofah is full of bacteria, or your exfoliation broke some skin and later caught bacteria somewhere, clothing, pillow, bed sheet, towel or the surface you put your arms on is dirty. Its why people dont really recommend mechanical exfoliation like loofah. If you wanna still use it, then you need to clean or change it more often or try those silicon scrubber, it can still scrub but not as hard as loofah or those nylon nets. Or put on some moisturiser after exfoliation. as a bacteria barrier. No idea how to keep your loofah clean though, since its probably will stay in the bathroom and the moisture inside will stick to it with bacteria.

What did you switch from? Lines under eyes are often become much more prominent without moisturization. If what you switched from was moisturizing, but the new product isn't/is less/dries your skin, that could be it.
>>18711773
They are undesirable when they go systemic, but the scientific consensus is that topical administration doesn't lead to enough systemic absorption to matter. You can go with mineral sunscreens if you're nontheless concerned, just keep in mind you will get less protection for the same visiblity, or much more visibility (white cast) for the same protection. Generally if your face isn't visibly white with mineral, you probably didn't apply enough, so it's not ideal for daily wear.

From a cursory glance
>Nivea Men's SPF 30 w/ Pro-Retinol
Seems to have hylauric acid and glycerin if I'm looking at the right one.

Looks like they have glycerin but not hylauric acid. Seem to have more of a focus on barrier repair with ceramides and niacinamide
Could be that. HA is a staple for a reason. Check the ingredients yourself to be sure, HA should listed as sodium hyaluronate.

THERE IT IS. Dude, I've been investigating this for like two hours. I kept thinking it's the tret, it's the tret, but I'm tolerating it so well. It's strange that it's localized to one spot, underneath my right eye, but oh well. Thanks, chief. I'm going back to my old routine, which is a shame because I like how the LRP spf smells and feels. Literally no fragrance and no grease.

dude HA as a surface level humectant (high molecular weight) is a complete meme, even shit like glycerin works better.
I think it's the sunscreen, shit tier outdated filters compared to any korean sunscreen, and the formulation isnt very elegant. I recommend purito soft touch sunscreen, it has centella, ceramides and panthenol and wayyyy better filters.

I'll get a bottle, ty anon. I think it's the sunscreen too because I haven't used it and my right undereye looks normalish again.

It's hit and miss I think and have been reading. I can't stress enough, my left undereye looks great.

Thanks but it's just an educated guess, it may not be correct. Making sure would take a lot more work that only you can perform.

Both have glycerin, pretty much every moisturizer has glycerin in it, but only one has HA. Optimal or not it's a humectant, if one has it and the other one doesn't with all else being equal, it stands to reason you can develop lines under eyes, which are very likely to develop from dehydration because the skin under eyes is very thin, even within days.
I don't really see anything else in that particular sunscreen that could lead to lines within such a short time window. It's not impossible but i fail to see the exact mechanism of action to blame, unlike the absence of HA.

I cant deal with my breakouts anymore after 30 fucking years. I'm this close to auto prescribing myself accutane and getting it from some shady asian seller or something like that.
Has anyone here automedicated with accutane? Was it worthy?

You can apply retinoids under eyes, the protocol is exactly the same as with any other area - start low and slow, see how you react, slow down or stop when the skin obviously can't handle the strength and/or frequency. The difference is the skin is very thin, so most people will have to apply weaker or less often compared to the rest of the face. For some people that's gonna be 0.025 tret, others may be fine with 0.05, for others it might cap at just retinol. Just back down in strength and frequency when MGD symptoms appear. I wouldn't quit retinoids under eyes entirely, they do wonders for fine wrinkles in the area, which are one of the most prominent signs of aging. Just don't be retarded about it, advice that applies to using retinoids in general.
