you will lose motivation once you realize that you have not gained a single kg of muscle in years.

>chin ups
Ok those are good
>push-ups
Kinda weak, spamming those is more cardio than anything
>pistol squats
Ok what are you a skelleton or a t-rex. How do you get insane leg strength while also doing shitty push ups?

Mods, smash his L5.

The point is to maintain muscle mass

I did barbell squats before. Also I hold a weight while doing pistol squats for balance. But I'm a manlet, so pistol squats are not that hard.

What muscle mass?
>pistol squats
Find me someone who never trained that can do one.

I can do them and the only leg exercise I've ever done with weights was lunges with a 15kg dumbbell in each hand.
>>

You're right. Currently I also do some light single leg RDL with a dumbbell. So I kinda lied in the OP hehe.

>What muscle mass
Enough for functionality and health.
>Find me someone who never trained that can do one.
Of course I couldn't do them straight away. I did assisted pistol squats first. Now I hold a weight for balance, and they're still tough to do. I'm hoping I can crank out like 15 reps flawlessy without a weight in the future.

Kek. All I need is a pullup bar and I'm good.
>>
OP here,
I also do ring rows and pike pushups (and eventually handstand pushups)
>>
Many autists have devolped nice (albeit imbalanced) physiques doing ultra minimal routines like pullups only.

Literally anything will work if there is effort and consistency.

I don’t care about being big I care about being strong. Why would I spin my wheels doing bodyweight exercises without adding weight over time not make any progress when I can add weight and make normal everyday life easier?
>>

I'm in a similar boat. I'm just doing push ups and squats to failure three days a week for the time being, I just want to get fitter. I know I'm not getting ripped doing this and it's no problem, I just want to avoid being infirm in my later years.
