Retinol is insane anti-aging. It's obvious she started at 47. If she started at 30 she would look like she barely aged.
>>
>>77115526
differin is good too if you can get a hold of it, some countries you need a prescription

Not eating enough metals to maintain hair pigmentation by age 48?

She looks like she's at least in her 60s holy shit
>>77115550
Is there point in taking tretinoin before you're actually well into you're 30s and starting to age quite badly?
>>
>>77115561
Differin is just as good as tret it just takes longer to reach it's peak. Both drugs you have to use consistently for years

>>77115572
Not really, 30 is a great time to start. It won't make you look 20 forever because aging up to around 30 or 35 is more about facial fat loss than wrinkles.

GenX is all massively dehydrated

they BRAG about how little water they drink and make fun of kids for drinking water.

At the same time they drink HUGE amounts of coffee and alcohol.

GenZ is almost worse, they look OLDER than millennials
>>
>>77115649
How does the zoomer cuck cope with millennials all getting drunk every weekend since they were in high school while simultaneously mogging them in terms of aging lmao
>>
>>77115718
The stress of constant social isolation is way worse than getting drunk once a week but zoomers will never be able to understand or admit that collectively

Retinol is the gateway retinoid, big improvement over nothing at all, but eventually you want to upgrade to tretinoin or tazaroten, which are the order of magnitude more effective. Tret is the older, gold standard gen I retinoid while taz is a more recent gen III retinoid that targets the receptors more efficently, stronger with less irritation. Taz is harder to get in states, tret is all the rage there.

My skincare stack right now is
>15% Vit C serum followed by SPF 50 suscreen in the morning
>0,05% Tazaroten cream followed by ceramide cream with sodium hyaluronate before bed

There's obviously more to each product but these are the main compounds that matter. I'm eventually going to upgrade to 0,1% taz, there's no stronger retinoid on the market right now as far as I know. I've been waiting for a thread like this, if foids can vote and work, autistic men can mog them at skincare.

Anon, being a smelly, unhygenic, unkempt loser that looks 40 at 20 that could very well be confused for a homeless guy doesn't make you a masculine barbarian, it just makes you a loser. Youthful appearence has always been valued by both sexes because it signals good genetics. That these contemporary tricks don't actually affect genetics is irrelevant, the instinct is still here. Learn to play the game instead of crying.

Two days ago i started retinol + some facial sun screen with antioxidants and anti aging shit. I always thought doing creams was gay shit but the wrinkles in my forehead are hitting hard. People say i look way younger than i am but im currently dating a zoomette who makes me go gorilla everytime we have sex and i wanna looksmaxx as much as possible as to get her way more obsessed over me. I read that you had to be careful the first month because it can fuck you up so the first night i applied a minimal amount of serum (after washing my face with a mens hair, face and beard specific shampoo). The day after i had reddish patches and a bunch of small pimples. The indications say thats normal because retinol purges all the bad shit inside your skin and says to not rape your face by pressing the pimples or you will get fucked up. The solar cream surprised me because its not greasy and smells good (even my gf said i smelled delicious when we kissed that day). Im was very skeptip about retinol doing barely anything but now im putting all my money into it. I took a before picture and ill give it two months to see what changed, might pos it here if i get good results. To the anons that regularly shill retinol on here, i hope you are right. Even if it improved my face just slightly it would be a win. The serum i got was a supermarket brand that cost me 6 euros per 30ml, i thought it was a scam because when i searched for it it gave me creams and serums between 30 and 80 euros, but the reddish skin and pimples told me it is doing something. Im gonna do it twice a week for two weeks and then alternate days for two more weeks before doing it daily. The sun cream is a plus anyway, i always get sunburns on my face if it stand outside too much because my skin is gay as fuck. The container is very convenient too, its small and it has a small dossifyer,so it could last a whole month even using it twice or thrice a day. This monday night i will try using a bit more of serum

Nigga, put a jumpscare warning on that shit
>>
>>77117828
I didnt understand the pea thing, so i just grabbed the dropper and applied less than a drop on a few points around my face. Apparently it was enough. The men specific shampoo was a big deal too, my hair, face and beard feel fresh and smooth as fuck now. I used a generic sensitive shampoo until i bought this, i use that for my body now.
>>77117356
I wrote the wall of text to share the experience with anons that wanted to start, you massive pedantic faggot.
>about the wall of text
I also mentioned the sun block cream because all the guides say its a 100% must because retinol makes you x100 more sensitive to the sun, so if you dont wanna get fucked in the ass, YOU NEED THE SOLAR CREAM.

Why not just take low dose oral isotretinoin? Does it not have the same anti-aging properties as topical tretinoin?
And yes, women hitting the wall early is normal.
>>
retinol works. I reversed the fine lines on my face with basic retinol, just when they were barely starting to appear, at 25 years old. it nuked my chud lines fully. I'm now 28 and no chud lines or forehead lines.

>Redpill me on vit c, is it a meme or is it useful?
It's primarily a strong antioxidant. Sunlight is strongly oxidizing, even spf 50 blocks about 99% of it, so vit C serves to prevent photodamage from that remaining 1% in the long run. As far as wrinkles go it won't do miracles within months, probably not even years, but it should add up to noticeable anti-aging gains over decades of daily application before sunscreen. It also works quite well for any epidermis-deep discoloration you may have from acne and such, that should have results after a few months/years. It's also kinda annoying to store I guess, it's an antioxidant so you don't want it to oxidize in storage or it will lose effectiveness, so it should be stored in the fridge, away from sunlight and high temps in general. If it turns strong yellow/orange, you might as well throw it out, it's oxidized to the point of being useless. Light yellow is still fine.

Overall not as essential as sunscreen and retinoids, but next thing to add after them. Ceramides are lipids that make up your skin barrier, it's a good thing to use after retinoids to keep the barrier healthy. Sodium hyaluronate is what most people call hyaluronic acid, good for hydration, which is nice given how drying retinoids are.

Kek, based.

oral tretinoin is basically accutane. Which can have nasty side effects and dry out skin everywhere
>>
the best anti aging protocol is this:

>find any health disorders and correct them, you can get a 30x whole genome sequencing for $400, then analyze with SOTA AI models for gene defects, for example someone with mild anemia due to thalassemia will ALWAYS have bad skin no matter what they do (lotions, peptides etc etc) unless they fix the anemia and ongoing hemochromatosis
>be hydrated every day with plenty of sleep, FIX sleep if you have any ailments (sleep apnea)
>ALWAYS eat enough protein per day, insanely important for skinhealth
>minimum light exercise per week, best bidaily.
>fasting on gods intended day (no ramadan ass bs, actual abstinence of food, completely)
>red light mask if you're a neet at home, otherwise you need to wear at least mineral sunscreens if you get your sun outside, important you catch the sun going up and down
>daily adalpene or some other tretinoin
>no smoking, vaping, inhalement of any VOCs really
>microneedling once a year, 3 times a year after 30y
>
>>
>>77118549
>Why not just take low dose oral isotretinoin?
Because oral adimnistration means the drug is systemic, which means it's less effective at any given part of the body and has a plethora of side effects. You don't need it to be systemic, you only need it on the skin, so topical is the way to go. You only go systemic if you actually need the effect to be systemic or if targeting isn't possible.

Wait, doesnt retinol + vit C fuck your face in the ass?
>>
>>77115914
I'm using it + benzoyl peroxide right now, and I've used benzoyl straight for years (acnecide brand). I have wondered sometimess if I unintentionally created some protective barrier for me skin all these years, as I have fuck all wrinkles at 29. Or maybe genes, still the same hairline now as when a child and I am predisposed to tanning (rather than burning) in an alright low sunlight country like the UK
>>
>>77121386
There's isn't an unique interaction between the two specifically, but both can cause irritation and weaken the barrier, so you should be monitoring how much your skin is able to handle at any given point. Skin types and what can be tolerated or how fast the tolerance is built varies wildly from person to person.

Retinoids are VERY irritating at first, which is why you should be starting with low concentration retinol and work your way up to higher concentrations of tret/taz over months. Your skin needs time to get accustomed through retinization. Some people will never be able to get used to strongest doses like 0,1% taz, in which case they're better off settling at 0,05%, etc.

Vit C is comparatively much less irritating and the tolerance builds faster through a different mechanism, but if your skin is barely tolerating retinoids as is, it could push it over the edge.

That said, vit C should be applied in the morning because you want it to protect you from the sun, while retinoids should be applied before sleep because their purpose is to increase cell turnover, they make the skin VERY sensitive to the sun, are very sensitive to being destroyed by the sun and because barrier permeability is better when you sleep. So by the time you apply one, your skin had hours to recover from the other.

Also, there's purging, which is when your skin is pushing all the accumulated old cells out because of the improved turnover, which can result in the skin doing worse intitally for a few weeks/month before all that old shit is out and it gets better. You have to suffer through that to make an accurate judgement.

Does the photosensitivity last into the next day? I’m a competitive cyclist so I’m in the sun at least 3 hours most days, i always wear SPF 50 but am never sure I apply enough.
