Just hit 225 for 3 sets of 5. When can I hit 300 for 1rm? (Just as a benchmark goal)

What a gay and useless rep system.

You came here asking for advice retard. If you want proof you aren't getting it from bad sources, get off the internet and talk to real people.

Anons, is this true? Was I misled? Whats the best system for strength gains?
>>
Not sure anon but for context, I benched 235 for 5x5 and only ever managed to max at 290.

Well, if we assumed your 5RM was 225, based on the Epley/Lombardi formulas, your current estimated 1RM is 263. So... It's gonna be a while bud, that kind of progress could be a year or more depending on your natty status.

Never know until you try
Run it through an orm calc then do 3 reps of your 4 rep max for couple sessions then 2 reps of your 3repmax then 1 rep of your 2repmax then after a couple weeks you're probably ready to peak on your orn testing. You absolutely need a capable spotter for this so schedule that now.

225 for 3x5 is weak. You can hit 300 for 1 when when you can do something like 260 3x5 or 275 1x4

How many times can you do 230? 235? 250? Or do you just do the same weight and rep scheme day after day after day after day?

FAHVE sets of FAHVE

For 300, not 315
You'd need to hit 225 for 10
