Mile? 5:58 at my best these days. I've never been good at the mile or short distance.
What are people's 10k times? These days I'm running at about 55 minutes for general fitness and my fastest, under ideal preparation, is 48.

I run 40 miles a week. I'm not optimizing it, just 5 times a week the same loop, but I don't care. I do it to destress after work and stay in shape. Any advice on how I should improve, though, I'm willing to hear.

The only time I have ever run a mile was back in school for the end of the year gym test.

why do you need a car if you are fit enough to run 5 miles every day?

it's 6:01 but I never really attempted to do the mile. Probably wouldn't be much faster without training speed more though.

My 10k is 42 mins, did a sorta tempo or maybe threshold ish run where the 10k was 44 today.
I have been running for like 9 months now but winter has been tough, I think I have run out of vitamin d or something and my training was just kinda plateauing because i didn't really increase effort much at some point so i just got more efficient at running the same speed. Hoping to get back on track again with better weather so I am not spending most of my runs just warming up.
I think i kinda average like 20km per week. Probably gonna up the mileage a bit to like 30 because especially my 7km runs don't really do much anymore.

I actually used to do Taekwon Do (in a McDojo) when I was a teenager. We actually did sparring in our McDojo though, so it wasn't all faggotry. They made me spar with the adults because I am big.
Which martial arts do you have in mind? I, unfortunately, need my head for thinking for my job so can't get bopped in the head too regularly (despite the fact that I think boxing is kino).
