Went to the doctor and she took my blood pressure. It was 160/100.
She freaked out and gave me pills right away and told me i cant lift any weights.
Anybody else with this problem?

before you take the pills
and if this is not genetic (which a lot of blood pressure issues for otherwise healthy adults are)

get a (good) BP measurement device, measure daily and try to implement a few lifestyle changes
cumulative these usually have a similar effect as the medication
look up the research yourself (or just do deep research with ChatGPT/Gemini etc.), but generally
>lower salt intake, higher potassium
>less saturated fats and cholesterol in food
>loose weight if you're a fattie
>stop smoking and drinking
>reduce stress
in total these could reduce your systolic blood pressure by about 4 to 5 mmHg

>told me i cant lift any weights
that's (mostly) bullshit

what is interesting though
>isometric exercises
have shown a higher decrease in blood pressure than any other form of exercise

Did you rest your back while taking the measurement? We're your feet on the ground? Did you relax for 20min prior? Did you stop talking 5min prior?

thnx anon

Not resting the back
Feet were on the ground
Relaxed for about 10 min before
She was asking me questions and we were talking.

>high blood pressure 1 (one) single time
>immediately given pills to pop
>zero lifestyle changes required
Modern medicine is such a fucking joke. Doctors are pill pushers plain and simple, they dont give a shit about your health they just want kickbacks from their pharma reps.

Retard.
>>
>>77120397
but that's what normies want
it's not like the information is hidden or that no one is researching on this (quite the opposite), so you could easily find information like >>77120364

most people don't want to change
change is hard
they want a pill and be done with it

>they dont give a shit about your health they just want kickbacks from their pharma reps
we all know murican healthcare is shit
but OP is 100% an euro
EU literally takes away your doctor license if you take money from pharma corps

I know what's going on. I'm 32 despite lifting and running 5 to 6 days a week since 13, I always have high blood pressure. Last week my dad measured me at 140 over 85 and gave me a beta blocker of his to see the difference. The only difference was my heart rate went from 51 bpm to 42.

When I began researching it. Apparently people with higher skeletal muscle mass have increased blood pressure due to having to supply blood to your massive frame. Picrel

So basically if you know youre in good health except for this, ignore it, cause its probably a result of your excercise.

high blood pressure meds almost killed my father.
he kept having miniature heart attacks. he eventually went to a new doctor who was like
>wtf this is way too much medicine this is literal malpractice
dropped him to the absolute lowest dosage of a different medicine and all heart problems just stopped.

never trust modern doctors, never. they will kill you purposefully.

You can’t trust doctors to manage blood pressure. Any blood pressure reading is just a snapshot. You need to be taking your blood pressure 3 times or more and use the average and you need to be doing this three times a day to get a real look at what’s going on with your blood pressure.

Then once you know what’s going on I would recommend using telemedicine services online to try different medicines until you get one that works and doesn’t give you side effects. Then you can get a doctor faggot to write you a script for it once you have done all the work for him.

Your numbers might seem astronomically high by modern standards and their constantly moving goal posts. Before 1970 you wouldn't even be considered for treatment unless your systolic was regularly over 160. If you go back even further medical textbooks considered anything below 210/100 to be benign and not requiring treatment. Gandhi had readings in that ballpark for most of his adult life and he was still kicking around just fine into his 70s when he had that sudden case of lead poisoning.

I'm not a doctor, but I don't understand how you weren't even given a 24 hour blood pressure measurement to rule out "white coat hypertension" before being prescribed meds and told to stop lifting.

lol.

I am not a doctor either but that is what she told me, no lifting until i get 120/80

yes, but they are still allowed to go to conferences in Carribean, which just coincidentally is sponsored by the pharma corps, covering everything from flight ticket to accomodation and fancy meals…

Faggot

>invited to sponsored conferences in Carribean
that is forbidden since 2021
and even before that, there was EU wide anti corruption legislation since 2013 (which some countries didn't implement well though)
and depending on the country there were strict rules before that, i.e. Germany implement pretty drastic anti corruption laws for health care sector in the early 2000s

anyway
if you're a doctor in the EU and take as much as a flyer with merch, you'll get punished
paid conference trips are absolutely no more

there are still some loopholes (sponsored qualification / continuing educational courses)
but you have to explicitly search for them

you are far more likely to find an ignorant doctor with old education (aka hasn't read current research in 2 decades) than a corrupt one here

stop drinking coffee, eat less salt, do cardio (roonning), sleep better, don't use roids until it is fixed, eat less cholesterol
>>
>women doctor
rip

My dad had 180/120 BP
absolute insane
They gave him pills he refused to take them, went on a lowfat/low salt diet and his BP dropped in a week to 140/100
Now he's losing weight too so it should help him out

Anyways try fixing your food first
