For compulsive cocoa consumers who are working towards a longer life and a better physique through meaningful hard-work, strategy, and dedication. This is not QTDDTOT, stick to questions on fat loss. Post height and weight when asking for advice.

>What do I do first?
1. Read https://physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: https://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: https://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros), LoseIt (great for both), or Waistline (FOSS).
>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.
Read the /fit/ sticky: https://liamrosen.com/fitness.html
>DON'T
Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of calories.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, Starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.

pls fucking help me
I've been stuck at 65kg with this belly for ages, wont drop even with the calorie counting + weightlifting and cardio ive been doing.
I think I fucked up my fat loss, in 2025 I was approx 89kg and tried an aggressively low cut with protein focus at ~1300 kcal/day then about 3-4 months after that started going to the gym, but i was still eating in a big deficit.
Fast forward, beginning of 2026 I was still going to the gym roughly 2x a week but I continued eating at 1400-1500 kcal, I tried to keep a minimum 120g of protein everyday, did I fuck up?
Started stalling in the gym which I guess is cause im not eating much, or maybe my training is shit, but i dont know anymore. the lifts ive stalled at are still beginner and below tier (3x6 45kg benchp, 3x6 35kg ohp) I just want to see progress towards getting a fit, not skinnyfat appearance. Im not strictly looking for some get abs quick program, just at least a clearer path to getting slimmer and muscular by the end of the year, abs can come later when i dont look like a bag of chocolate milk
I kept thinking if I just keep cutting at 1400-1500 kcals whilst going gym ill eventually lose the belly/lovehandles and can start to eat more for muscle, but the scales been hovering at 65, my lifts have stalled and im looking the same week to week
Right now im still cutting, eating around 1450kcal and going gym. Should I start trying to recomp? im worried about recomping since it seems like such a case by case route and is apparently far slower than a bulk to cut/cut to bulk approach, but I got zero muscle and clear fat which I heard is a good start for recomps. Or should I start lean bulking, or actually keep focusing on a deficit that isnt as steep as 1500?
Am hoping theres a path I can follow to escape this, i dont mind if it takes long just hope theres progress to see along way, this trifecta stall at the gym, on the scale and in the mirror, sucks. Yes i am a nigger
>>
>>
>>77201801
i know right shit is fucked, when i started i had trouble benching the bar now i can do 40kgs, still basic bitch tier but i guess it was all just motor recruitment and not any actual muscle, is it due to the 1400kcal budget, ive been going 1rep before failure on almost all my lifts
>>
>>77201814
My 1rm on bench is 60 and i was enjoying deadlifts since it the easiest to progress until i got to 1x3 100kg, but now i feel like im getting weaker, cant do it anymore and just dropped to 3x5 90kg, not sure if its because of the cut or if im not giving myself enough time to recover, ive been on top of sleep, protein and took week pauses but nothings improving

I'm starting a cut today, 6'3 ~220lbs, ~1400 cals + ~3000 cal refeed once a week. I have 6 weeks until my beach holidays, I might continue after that.
I do (mostly) weighted calisthenics, gonna deload hard and reduce volume to laughable levels because I'm still coping with some injuries and don't want to fuck my shit up.
Gonna do 10k steps on rest days and 7-8 on training days.
I've never had such an unflattering light in any bathroom (I'm flexing hard and you could hardly ever tell), but at least I won't be trolled into thinking I look alright that easily.
God speed to all of you.

How reliable is withings with body composition? Getting dexa scan to be sure. 3 weeks on 1000kcal protein diet. It slowed down to 0.6lbs daily so hoping I'm past the water weight and glycogen phase. Down 21.6lbs overall.

Damn. Well my advice would be to follow a real structured routine 3-4 days a week instead of fucking around with random exercises like he's probably doing, omad about 1500 cals on lifting days or even a little more, cut as hard as possible or fast on rest days. Oh and get protein from meat.

Do creatine supplements actually do anything? I am automatically hostile to any ideas of supplements just because almost all of them are sugarpills, but every nigger and their mothers says this shit works. Is natural creatine in meats enough or is this shit actually useful?
>>
>>
>>77202238
It's the only supplement with at least some backing it helps a little. It's cheap and tasteless although grainy since it is only suspended and not dissolved in water. I've always taken it. Don't bother unless you actually work out in the gym, which you should. It promotes water retention, but that just becomes your new baseline so who cares. Some say it causes balding if you're already predisposed to that, but that's mostly a meme.

Down from about 133 to 121 kg in two weeks, im 188 cm tall and eating 900-1000 kcal/day, trying for mostly protein. I might accidentally be doing keto, I've noticed that I usually eat about double the amount of fats compared to carbs. I expect its gonna start to plateau soon. What are the chances that I'm gonna get fucked by gallstones if I keep going like this?
>>
>>77202269
I'm doing almost the same, even similar height and weight. Carbs and fats don't really matter, I'm often under 50g carbs, protein is most important. No matter what you should aim for 130-150g of protein to avoid muscle loss.

Posting to the void again since I never fit in on 4chan since 07 but im a fat fuck again and started omad. Lost 90 pounds in 4 months a few years ago but life stress and self control issues got me back up to 300. I was 327 when I last lost the 90 so fast. I know I put most of the weight on but I do think its sustainable. Its crazy how much better I feel intermittent fasting and avoiding sugars.

Punish yourself every time you cheat so you stop. For example when i binge i'll each not eat the next day as punishment or i'll go on a really long walk like 15km+ as punishment instead of doing what i'd like to on the weekend watch a film/gaming etc.
>>
>>
What's you guys opinion on cheat days / days off etc. I've been dieting for a month today, i'm happy with the progress but i've not eaten anything nice like a pizza or a candy bar, not had a beer. I'm wondering if one day a week it's ok to have that beer, or a chinese etc as long as I still count the calories. So keep it strict until you meet the goal, or have an occasional day off but still watch the calories?

It's absolutely fine and actually beneficial as long as you aren't eating 10k calories in one day. It gives you something to look forward to and a goal to reach. Also helps prevent your body from trying to hold onto weight I think you lose more if you fluctuate your calories a bit from time to time.
Don't listen to the retard purists who say you should eat nothing but grass and dirt for years at a time. If they followed their own advice they wouldn't be here in the first place.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>77202348
the issue here is seeing them as cheating, regular people will eat 5 bites of their favorite thing then save the rest for later. instead of 20 nuggets, order 10, or save 10 for the next day. if you don't have things to look forward to you might as well just consider suicide considering how many people derive joy from eating

you lost 30 pounds in two weeks? how the fuck, what's your starting weight? >>77202279
muscle loss is inevitably, it's just the ratio that's controlled via strength training. if you lose 1 pound, maybe 60% will be fat, 40% will be muscle, drinking solely just protein will only make the ratio slightly better, to get 80%+ fat you need to do minor strength training just to remind your body that you NEED the muscles

thought I had stalled for two weeks and didn't lose any weight but turns out my scale was just fucked and needed a new battery and I'm actually 4 lbs down
>>
>>77202405
if you calorie counted and know for a fact you ate LESS, you should always look at the scale for potential issues because for us guys, it's near impossible to stall unless you genuinely got something fucked. (women have periods that can cause this)
>>
>>77202396
I forgot to weigh myself right when I started (2026-03-31) but a few weeks before that the scale said 133 kg so thats what I went with for the starting point. I was also clothed so it was prolly a few kg less actually, around 130 I guess. I was 126.4 on Monday and I'm 121.2 today, both naked and after shitting.

>>
>>77201797
if your current main goal is to get rid of the belly i'd just keep eating at your usual deficit and not worry about your lifts or muscle not improving for now. it just looks like you're the type that carries almost all your excess fat in the belly so you'll probably have to get to a rather low body fat percentage before it looks good. how long has your weight been stalling? don't know your height but at 1500kcal a day you 99% likely should still be losing weight. i'd agree with going to the gym more than 2x a week as well.

Im 174cm and things have been stalling for about 3 weeks, i know plateaus are normal and can get even longer but ive never had this three way stall before
If i didnt want to cut any more and start bulking would it be alright
Is this fixable with a really careful lean bulk till like september and then cutting if i don't care about completely getting rid of the belly anytime soon?

>>
>>
>>77202580
well i think the common wisdom is that when bulking, even if you keep it to a small surplus and make healthy choices you should expect to gain about 50% of the weight as fat and 50% as muscle. so if you're comfortable with the tradeoff of probably getting bigger in the midsection in exchange for more visible muscle and planning to cut again later it could definitely be alright. if you're frustrated with where you're at now you may as well give something different a try.

Instead of a cheat day just autistically manage the day so you still stay within your calories. Whether that’s starvemaxxing till dinner, or eating a less caloric alternative to whatever you’re craving. Don’t just go out and randomly eat a ton of shit and get bloated. People go “oh it’s needed to stay on track” but if you’re smart about it you can manage your cravings while still staying in your deficit.

literally all my home cooking. I finally got good at it and then I became a fat shit from it and I had to cut it all out. Pasta carbonara, steak au poivre, french style (meaning a quarter stick of butter) scrambled eggs, fried chicken that was better than anything I could get in a restaurant fast food or otherwise, fried rice with any meats or toppings I could dream of. I finally figured out how to make home cooking I actually want to eat and now I can't use most of it.

And Im back into a stall. I dont know what exactly is causing me to stall like this every other week now. I know I've finally cut down to the harder bodyweight to get rid of byt damn. My weightloss chart looks like a goddamn staircase.
>>
>>
>>77202993
Oh yeah im tracking everything, you can check fatty Contest for my progress. Sitting at about a 1k daily deficit. I suppose i could be holding more water now, the only change i can think of that could be introducing enough sodium to do that is that I splurged on some canned smoked herring filets a couple weeks ago and I've been eating a can of that every couple days. My stalls seem to be about 5 days to a week long and then the weight drastically drops off so that tracks with excessive water retention. No more smoked fish for me I guess. Theres no way in hell I'm eating anywhere near my maintenence.
>>
>>77203015
You also have to remember that a lot of our understanding of the human body and how it handles food and calories is relatively newer science.
There's still a lot of things where we just have to go "the body is weird and does things that make no sense".
For example. For the last 8 days, my scale kept going back and forth from 233 to 235. Today, when I woke up, I was all the way down to 228.
>>
God damn it bros it’s so much harder to not overeat while actually going to the gym
>went from 190lbs to 150 in 3.5 months on 1500 calories with relatively low effort
>but I wasn’t lifting at all, just walking.
>ended up skinny fat and still have lots of bf%
Now im trying to eat at just maintenance while lifting 5x a week to burn the fat and build muscle at the same time but I feel 100x hungrier. No wonder it felt too easy last time. Fuck my life

Greek Yogurt in your tuna salad instead of mayo. Hit it with a bunch of dill, a dab of mustard, black pepper, salt, maybe some garlic powder. If you're feeling zazzy, get some crunch in there with celery and/or onion. Makes a big difference.
Seriously I don't even feel the need to use mayo with tuna. Literally ate it straight from the bowl as described before work today.
>>
Over 50 hours dry fasted now. Feel fine no hunger at all and I'm about to go to sleep. Will either break the fast tomorrow or continue and start drinking LMNT water. I always get low blood sugar and weak on long fasts like 3-4 days or more but I have so much weight to lose (like 100 lbs) and fasting is the only time I truly feel like there's any real progress.
>>
>>77203110
You should have been lifting from the start, even if it made weight loss harder. With some extra muscle your final goal weight wouldn't have to be as low, and you would have looked and felt better when you reached it.
>>
>>77203155
Godspeed, buddy. I've done a few different fasting protocols and found that longer ones weren't particularly sustainable for me. Even with the amount of weight you have to lose, I'd recommend giving alternate day fasting a shot. I don't have any problems sticking to it, have plenty of energy for workouts even on fasted days and don't have to deal with the refeed runs that happen sometimes with longer fasts.

It is almost time for my fat loss journey to REALLY accelerate, I'm looking forward to it.
Only a few weeks away from getting my own apartment!
I will be free from my parent's horrible fattening dinners.
I am 23 years old, 5'9, 220lbs. I have been working on my health since August 2025, I am down from 240lbs since then.
I was going to the gym 3 days a week from August 2025 to December 2025, progress kind of plateaued.
I didn't start seeing results again until February 2026 when I started intermittent fasting.
My window is Noon to 8pm, I try my best to stay below 1500 calories a day.
I only eat 2 meals a day, Lunch (which I control completely) and Dinner (Which my parents control).
My lunches are never more than 400 calories, I usually get a Subway Sandwich because there is one next to my job.
My dinners though, that is up in the air. My parents are Italian so we eat a lot of pasta and stuff, such little protein, its bad.
But over the past few weeks, I have been losing roughly 1 pound a week again due to the fasting I assume.
Here is why I'm excited, I'll finally be able to protein max.
My lunches can stay the same, something low calorie like a sandwich or lean cuisine at work.
But my Dinners? that is gonna change big time. I will only be eating Rice with Chicken or Steak for the foreseeable future.
It is literally all you need to eat. I'm probably gonna throw some vegetables in there too.
A plate with Chicken or Steak, Rice, and some vegetables is literally all you need to eat every single day.
The best part, it actually tastes good too. Why are people so fat in America when we can just eat Chicken and Steak so easily.
Its literally 10 dollars at the store to buy two half-pound cuts of steak, that's 2 days of dinner right there.
So that is my plan. I'm gonna start eating WAY more protein, plus, my apartment is in a downtown type area so I'm gonna be able to
go on walks and ride my bike again. This summer is gonna be great!

I can’t wait to move out too, I’m around the same age. Also I recommend sweet potatoes too. I was eating rice at first but the potatoes seem more filling for less calories. I’ve been eating that plus 93/7 ground beef (along with chicken breast some days) to get my protein in with barely any calories wasted
>>
>>77203185
sounds awesome anon. my first round of weight loss in my life came super easy after moving out of my parents' house and starting to choose my own meals and find fun ways to exercise for the first time in a more urban area with more options. stick with your plan and things will turn out great.

I will definitely look into this, as someone who's deficit is semi-aggressive it can be hard to balance my calories and protein, so I am always looking for protein dense things with a good calorie ratio. That is why I eat tuna cans sometimes.
I only have 1500 calories to work with in a day, it may sound like a lot (especially considering my lunch is never more than 400 calories), but staying below 1500 calories WHILE trying to get 120-130g of protein a day is kind of hard for me still cause I'm a noob with that stuff.
>>77203196
Thanks anon, I'm hoping you're right. I've wanted to bike and stuff for a while now but the motivation isn't there. My parents live in a stupid subdivision so I would just be riding a bike in a circle over and over again, I like exploring so I'm just gonna bike around the town now and it will be more entertaining.
I've heard that biking can be better cardio than jogging? Is that true? I wanted to lose weight before I started jogging or running because I heard I can damage my knees at my size. So I need something that is easier on the knees while giving good calorie burn. I want to start using the elliptical machine at the gym too for the same reason, but I like being outside with fresh air so biking seems more my speed.
>>
>>77203211
>it may sound a lot
nah i know how hard it is, i was eating 1300-1500 a day. I would just skip breakfast (black coffee only to suppress appetite), have a tiny lunch (yogurt usually), and then save all my calories for dinner cause I can’t stand going to sleep hungry. it’s good that you’re prioritizing protein, im retarded and wasn’t (nor was I hitting the gym) so now I need to bulk up to build muscle while still burning off fat

yeah if you're obese you should avoid jogging, not worth the injury risk when there are other options. if you'd like to try, save it for when your bmi is on the lower side of the overweight range imo. of indoor cardio options i personally like a stationary bike but if you have a real bike and somewhere to go then that's all well and good too

Might be contrarian but I don't believe in slow and steady wins the race. The more you lose at the beginning the better if you're heavily overweight. In hospital settings they're doing very low liquid calories and as the time goes on they introduce solid foods. Start with big deficit, high protein and you'll be fine.

The problem with highly restrictive dieting as a starting point is its difficult to maintain, especially when you're new to it. Also, many of the "crash" dieters end up gaining the weight back shortly after because they didn't take the time to address their relationship with food and only treated the symptom of being fat. If you can balance both and maintain it, go nuts, but the majority of people can't and fail spectacularly.

I know this struggle, my gramma offers me these ridiculous 3000+kcal pasta dishes with a huge cookie tin full of freshly baked sweets to take home everytime I visit her and its impossible to say no to her, she usually has a bunch of miscellaneous household tasks she wants me to preform, and my visits are ostensibly a thinly veiled work call to help her around the hosue and her way of saying thanks is to cook for me, and she looks so happy when I eat her cooking, worst part is its really good too, so one the one hand my goal is to not look like a pile of shit, and I know I should just politely decline, but my fatty brain is telling me this is the best damn meal I've had all year and even my normal brain can't argue with that.

There are some studies showing that show the oppossite when it comes to gaining weight back, weirdly. Their deficit and weight loss weren't that extreme but it worked out in the long term and the "fast" group showed better results. But as you say it comes down to their mentality and relation with food but if you're able go for quick weight loss early. Here's the study PMID, randomized control trial: 20443094

I lost a lot of fat on my ass, thighs and face
This pic doesn't show it but I'm sure my gut is smaller
Arms/shoulder look bigger on the left
Other than that, it's hard to spot a difference. It's crazy how similar I look. I wish I was taking arm measurements back then to see how much muscle I lost.

I wonder what units do "watts" and "calories" counters on gym machine uses.
Suppose I work at 60 watts for 60 seconds that's 3600J of energy which is roughly 1.2kcal. But the "calories" counter doesnt increase that slowly. Does the "watts" counter actually shows deci-watts? Because 12kcal/minute looks more like it

>Why are fatties so bad at making excuses?
Because I don't want to make an excuse and only eat part of it, I want to eat the whole thing, I'm fatty, my natural inclination is to eat everything and stuff myself until I'm full, not being a fatty is an active struggle against my inherent nature. Being a fatty is what comes naturally, I have to try to not be a fatty, and its not always easy.

How do I know if a cut is too deep? I don't want to catabolize muscle. I know you can cut pretty much as deeply as you want when you're really a fat fuck, but at what point are you not fat fuckish enough and have to start limiting the deficit?

Depends on what you mean because I went from 327 to 234 in 4 months at 40 when my son was born and reversed my fatty liver and had normal blood work. You're not going to just stay fat if you make healthy choices. Thats woman logic
>>
>>
>>77203437
Getting healthy actually rewires your brain so you're not as hungry. Especially if you're supplementing properly and hitting macros properly. Your body gets used to knowing it's going to get the nutrition it needs. So the food noise essentially comes to a halt especially if you are on a routine and your body knows when it's going to get fed. The toughest part is the transition. So that's all you should be focusing on. Brains are different and you can essentially hack your brain if you know yourself well enough to fall into the routine that's necessary for you.
>>
>>77204238
The line goes with maintaining enough protein in your diet, some fat for your hormones & carbs for working out. Depending on your size that in kcals + deficit might be quite low. Around 1%bw per week is okay. Fasting without workout is muscle friendly too.
>>
>>77204350
Nice, i've been taking creatine to try and retain LBM on deficit. Also HMB for super deep deficit days. But I'm getting close to the 20% body fat line, and should probably get more careful about this. It looks like I've retained a pretty good amount of LBM. AI estimates 175lb (I'm 6'3" 221lb atm coming from 315lb). My protein floor is 120g daily, but my week average is usually 150. I tend to not go lower than 140 on any given day. Kcal average is currently 1720ish. But I cycle a carb refeed day for leptin spikes, thus most days are 1300kcal. All OMAD. I'll be cycling off keto days around 210lbs and introducing balanced carb loads per day.
>>
>>77201797
You lower your fat with hr2 cardio. Do 60-80min 3-5 times a week. Get 140g of protein a day (dairy as in quark/yogurt/curd, eggs etc.), 50g of fat minimum and the rest in slow carbs. Do 16:8 fasts, always do cardio in a fasted state. Once you're good with the cardio (a week or two) start a real gym routine. Warmup (15 min) excercises, compounds (20-30 min) and isolations/aux (15-20 min). I do 12 day streaks with 2 rest days, PPL. Start with something easier, but train each muscle group twice per week. Read more about the routines & recommended weights somewhere, but aim for 3-4 x 8-12. Also, you might have worms.
>>
>>
>>77204359
Sounds good!
I'm not fat anymore, took a mandatory training break all Q1. Been to the gym for 5 weeks now (I do the 12 day streaks + 80min daily cardio). I eat intuitively depending on my workout intensity, a refeed on my 2 rest days between streaks. Daily 1-2.5kg of quark, 4 eggs and vegetable soup, oats. Beef, pork and sloppy carbs during refeeds.
I'm 6'4, 235lb. Not cutting, but because of my activity level (usually 2+h at the gym) I'm running a deficit. And yes, building muscle. Density comes from the streaks, rest days build mass.
>>
>>77204408
That's a great spot man. I'm debating putting in more gym time. I get a lot of resistance training just doing my normal job. When I more been learning to do is how to lift things. Like I can turn any object into a sven lift, etc. But maybe I should just get into the gym more.

Gym has its' sides. Excercise-wise the variety, the ease of versatility. Can really get in flow every single time with ease. And well, the social game. I love making young ladies overwhelmed, I bet you'd enjoy that as well. Nothing like being a stoic big strong guy in total hormonal balance. Nothing like the testo boost sexual tension gives on rough leg days. Nothing like making the ladies swoon eith simple cable flys. Ofc it's just a cherry on too. Going shirtless as much as I can the whole summer.

After three months, I finally got fast food. I was hungry, didn't want to cook and I felt like eating burgers so I went out and got McDonalds meal. That's like a thousand calories and shit tasted like nothing. It wasn't even bad. It just had no taste. But what really surprised me was the soda. I like soda but I've taken a break from it so this was my first soda in a couple of months and it straight up hurt to drink. It burned my tongue. It felt like I was drinking acid. Awful. I think this was good because the meal was so underwhelming and expensive, I no longer yearn for fast food at all.

One thing I've learned from my cut from being a massive fattie is how different food seems to me. I have a chicken breast almost everyday. And it tastes good as fuck. Because I'm actually hungry when I eat it. My fat brain never really got hungry. I got the urge for dopamine rewards through taste enhancers. It was less about being hungry than it was about waiting for enough space in my stomach to open up so I could eat more without being incredibly uncomfortable. And now that my body is getting the nutrition and macros it wants on a regular basis, after over a year of doing it, I don't even give a shit about McDonald's. Like you said, i'd probably just find it bland and not filling.

This. If you have an actual healthy relationship with food, you really could eat chicken breast everyday and not even think you want more variety.

My advice, tho /fit/ seems to rage against, is have carb refeeds once a week. Keep a keto deficit the 6 other days. Keep the daily average below TDEE. The more significant a deficit, the better. But being able to look forward to a carb loaded refeed each week can help make the psychological switch over to a better relationship with food over time. Also it gives you a massive leptin spike which satiates you for the rest of the week very well. And eventually you won't even need the refeeds for psychological purposes anymore. Worked for me.

Bros I have a fitness related question about fat. I met a girl on hinge who has one of those amazingly hot faces but she's really fat. Apparently, she's been on ozempic and was even fatter. Days she's at a stall now. Buy she's going to keep taking it. We only ate like 700 calories when I was with her for 12 hours. My question is, if she keeps taking it, it's fairly inevitable that she'll get less fat right? I can already tell that she would be super fucking hot if she wasn't super fucking fat so maybe it's worth it to keep meeting up.
>>
>>77204654
No matter how desperate you think you are for pussy you aren't that desperate. A fat person is a fat person for life. Their body chemistry, their mind is forever altered. If she loses all that weight her body will turn into a horror show. You think it's bad for me, breasts were never meant to survive pregnancy let alone ballooning up 4x their size being fat. Just shamefully plap it a few times and move on.
>>
>>77204657
>>77204654
NTA, but there's the danger she does turn hot. At that point you're emotionally deeply engaged, and she wants to experience things she never did before. Hot guys.
>>
>>
>>77204654
no it's not inevitable that she'll lose weight, it depends on whether she's actually eating at a caloric deficit or not. i haven't personally used glp1s, and i know a lot of people report that it's hard to eat a lot of food on them because you'd feel sick, but there are also people who come to this thread and say they only lost like 10 lbs in 6 months on glp1s. if she's been maintaining a high weight then she's still eating a lot of calories, so either she's still able to eat large portions despite the ozempic or she's choosing high-calorie food.
only eating 700 calories in front of you is pretty obviously just part of forming a positive impression. i'm thinking of a friend i had in high school who must have weighed 350 lbs but he skipped lunch every day and i never saw him eat anything ever. people who are ashamed of their weight sometimes go to great lengths to never let it be seen how exactly they're eating to end up fat.

A gym membership. Home gyms are for experienced lifters who know what exercises they need/want to do, what equipment they need for those exercises, and that they won't get bored of lifting six months from now. You don't want to buy cheap shit you'll regret later. Adjustable dumbbells alone would run you around $700-800, a barbell $200, bench $300, rack $350, 300+lbs of weights $1-2/lb, etc. You would maybe also want hard rubber mats for flooring, another $100-200, barbell collars, etc etc.

A good set of adjustable dumbells and a good adjustable bench is all you need. Don't get the cheapest Chinese shit you can find on amazon either, find something quality and it should last you your entire life.
Immutable dumbells take up a ton of space, and you might think you're getting a deal because individually they're cheap but after you buy 10 different pairs of them at different weights you've already hit the cost of a good adjustable set so they're kinda a noobie trap, so unless you've got a free room to become your lifting room I wouldn't recommend that path.
You don't need a barbell, you can do a full body routine with just dumbbells, an adjustable bench, and calisthenics.

This is good, my favourite is peanut butter chocolate with almond milk, feels like a cheatmeal if it wasn't for the chemical aftertaste.
Otherwise I use unflavoured in my overnight oat with frozen fruits, skyr and and cinnamon. Pretty good if microwaved a bit, you let it cool off 40 minutes and it becomes a nice protein cake with a milky core.

Hi friends
Im back to my weightloss journey
I lost 10kg last year up until a point where my dad got sick so i gained all the weight back cause of stress.
Now im back to it cause i lost my job so i have time for cooking and i dont have to overeat cause of job stress.
The key really is to cook your own meals and to go grocery shopping for quality ingredients. If you go to the butcher and to the marketplace it makes a world of difference. You simply have to prep for everything you eat. I got myself some fresh homemade cheese at the market, 2 actually, cherry tomatoes and spinach. Yesterday i got myself oranges and lemons. If i dont prep in advance i will eat trash consumerist food from the nearest supermarket or ill even order pizza or something like that if i dont have time to cook. Prep is key.
First day is done, i didnt eat much at all today, like i said its possible if you have all the necessary healthy and quality foods at your home

I need some opinions /fit/
I have been kJ/calorie counting since Jan, and started at 86kg and am now down to 81kg, goal being to get down to about 75kg, idk yet tho. I gym and climb about three times a week too.
However, everyone I talk to says that I'm basically starving myself with my food intake, and it's got me concerned. I started at 8500 kJ/day and every fortnight would drop my kJ intake by 250, so I'm now down to 7500kJ/day, but don't plan on going any lower than this, as this seems low enough. Most people who I've talked to who are also cutting said they eat about 2200cal/9200kJ per day and that's way higher than what I even started with in the first place.
I'm never hungry during the day either, and I used to get huge sugar crashes semi often when I ate whatever without counting, but now I don't as of late I've noticed/ and/or feel like shit/bloated.
What do you guys think, is 7500kJ/day too low? or fuck'em or whatever?

Guys I think I found a glitch in the matrix. My brother and his family are visiting so to enjoy as much time with them as possible I stopped going the gym and worrying about counting calories. But I weighed myself yesterday, to check the damage that's been done and I've not only not gained weight, but I've actually lost 5lb in 3 weeks while eating carbs and doing no meaningful exercise.
How the fuck do you explain this?

I dunno boys, losing weight was the biggest waste of time in my life
I don't want to dissuade anyone else from doing it for themselves, but for me, it was
I went down from 265 to 170 (im a manlet)
I was looking better, but I barely felt better. I'm such a loser despite my amazing job I'll never get a girlfriend anyway, so no difference in that regard - I didn't talk to the same amount of women.
Did I feel better? No not really. I will admit that now that I've regained 80 pounds, I do feel a bit worse. But, I didn't actively feel better when I was healthier.
I just didn't get to eat, one of the best pleasures in life, if not the best
I'm back to Uber Eats every day and now i'm actually happy. Great food every day. I guess I do feel slightly worse if I'm honest, but it's hardly noticeably. I couldn't actually tell you what part feels worse. I guess my face feels puffy if I focus on it
Wow woopty shit. In exchange I get to eat pizza, wings, steak subs, amazing food every day
sorry guys but weight loss is a total fucking scam and a waste of time. An entire year or two of effort I put into that shit for LITERALLY zero benefit. Now I'm happy again.

Just become trans. My 5'3" friend did and they went from an incel to having a gf.

you can eat all of that and still be skinny

>eating 1 slice of pizza, 2 chicken wings and a 4" steak sub is not eating them, my friend.
you just have to pick lower calorie options
>pizza
Get thin crust and you can eat the whole thing. Hardest part is getting enough protein on it.
>wings
Don't get the garlic butter wings, get a dry rub.
At bdubs you can get 10 wings with a lemon pepper dry rub and its 725 calories and 88g of protein. Of course don't get ranch or blue cheese, use hot sauce if you want sauce.
>4" steak sub
Get the foot long and its fine. At the generic Charleys chain, the old school footlong is 1050 calories and 86g of protein.
You can still have cheat days and eat the double calorie versions you just can't eat that everyday. I'm losing 10 pounds a month and still go to Mcdonalds and drink milkshakes. I just eat it a few times a week and not every meal.
