Uhh make sure your levels are good, I get mine checked every 3 months. Lose weight if you've got a fem skeleton gain weight if you're big boned. Get your eyebrows threaded, that shit is like 15 bucks and helps a ton. Have a skincare routine and take care of your hair. So I live in a pretty liberal area and it's not really much of a problem, I just kinda tell them what my deal is over the phone and schedule an appointment to have them done up pretty fem.
I think even in a more conservative area you should still be fine beauticians are rarely like bible thumpers or terfs.
Skin is a pretty big one, if you glow people tend to read you female more often than not

over a year and a half on e. i’ve properly malefailed like 3 times in that time, and two of those times they corrected themselves upon actually seeing my face. i did get asked my pronouns after being asked my name once, so that half counts, but it was more likely “i know this place is crawling with trannies, you might be one some direction” imo. the two times i’ve given a stranger my chosen name instead of my deadname they didn’t give me any shit at least, but again, it was in super progressive areas and situations so might’ve just been humoring the hon. honestly, just looking in the mirror and shit i don’t think i’m that doomed, but my lived experience is what tells me to mode. i malefailed more in middle school than i do now on estrogen lol

the voice sucks, i can’t lie. i’m really inconsistent with voice training to begin with, and when i did musicals in high school and college i struggled to hit the bass’s high notes so i’ve got a terrible base. but i do get plenty of sirs before i even open my mouth. i haven’t really noticed any improvements in malefailing when i do actually try to deploy my “girlvoice” too
